TTC after MC - July/August 2020 (Thread 8)

@Cici89 hi! I also conceived in the cycle directly after my MC in May. I will say that it doesn't take away the pain of the loss, which I think is what I was expecting. However it does give you something positive to focus on. I know im very fortunate!. Wishing you all the best! And so very sorry for what you are going through ❤❤

That's crazy @MichT4! But makes me happy to see too, surely this must be it!! You definitely deserve a reward!

@Pugprincess you can't even taste them in the smoothie and it keeps you going! I've replaced my morning coffee with the smoothies and handling it quite well 😂😂 enjoy!x

@MichT4 I hope this is ovulation for you 🤞🏼I think you will definitely still be covered!! Even though I've had a peak I'm going to try and still dtd every other day to cover all bases hopefully xx

@VP91x I’m really good had a little bleeding on Sunday but we Started to dtd so that caused it so safe to say no more until baby is safely here, how are you sorry to here about diagnosis xxx

@VP91x I hope so. It's difficult because I now wonder if we have DTD enough. We didn't yesterday, but will today and tomorrow I think. I'm sure it's enough.

And only the same level of patience you have with those goddam flashies 🖕🏼🏆

@Cici89 welcome to the group, and sorry for your loss. I had my second MC earlier this month and we are trying straight away. My cycles are long usually so the dating is always off, so might as well throw more date confusion at them if I'm given the chance xx

Well, in my OPK saga, here is today's. Peak on both apps, Glow has changed ovulation to tomorrow.
I think I might get an award for the most peak OPKs in a month 🏆

@MrsK21 oh I know no one would for enjoying myself. I just think I feel some guilt for drinking that much, but as you all say (and me) it has to be about more than TTC. And it made a nice change.

@VP91x literally read my mind, I wanted a sausage and egg mc muffin but couldn't be bothered to go and get one 😂
At least I can have my massive coke now

Hi @Cici89 so sorry for your loss ❤️ I think you will get told off medical professionals that you won't ovulate until you get a negative test but some ladies on here have ovulated with small amounts of hcg still leftover. I had a mmc which I had an mva for on the 8th June and finally got a negative test on Monday - 6 weeks after mc. I think I have since ovulated a few days after the negative test (got a cb static smiley) and am now either 2/3 dpo. Everyone is different but usually you would have to have either no hcg or very small amounts of it left. Xx

@MrsK21 Hello! Yes I am in the tww (well I think I am) I got a static smiley on cb on Thursday after having 2 flashies. I wasn't temping though or doing cheapies alongside so can't be certain. I should be 2/3dpo now 🤞🏼 how are you? Xx

@Pugprincess Thanks so much. I stupidly took one the other day and I had a smiley too. Was hoping that it was just high hcg but I think maybe I’ve missed my peak. I really hope I didn’t because we were told not to TTC until tomorrows appointment but maybe we’ll have to hold out until next month x

Thanks everyone 😘 @MichT4 my symptoms are sore boobs and a bit of creamy CM. Ocassional light cramps too. Slight mood swings but hey who doesn't 😂

@Cici89 hi! Welcome to the group! Sorry to hear about your loss 😔 be assured I caught straight away after my MC in June at 6 weeks and am now 5+2! So if you feel ready it's worth trying again.

@Cici89 hello and welcome. Sorry for your loss 😔 mine stopped at exactly the same week and day as you 😞 I haven’t had AF since mc yet I’m in the process of ovulating though and my preg tests have still had a really faint second line so yes I think it’s possible to still have some left over hcg and to ovulate. I’m using cb opk and I’ve had high fertility flashy smiley face for 3 days now so I’m preparing myself that could go on for a bit until I get my peak now. Hope that helps xx

@VP91x thank you, my periods are pretty irregular so not really sure when to start as I haven't tracked ovulation for years. I'm going to start cb tomorrow I think as I want to be 100% sure I don't miss it xx

Hi Everyone, hope you don’t mind me joining. I had a MMC on the 13th with medical management. We were 11 weeks but had stopped growing at 6+4. I’m going to be TTC straight away but just have a few q’s. I’m waiting for a negative test so until it is, will I not ovulate? Our nurse said we won’t need to wait for a period as they can date it. Have to go back tomorrow to make sure I don’t need a d&c and if not we’re good to go I think I might have missed some stories from the old threads- Has anyone managed to conceive again with no period between MC? X

@Pugprincess I had 10 of the smug little flashy faces after my miscarriage 😡😡 Was about to give up, bought cheap ones to test in the afternoons too xxx
