@VP91x the polar express idea is fab! Got me thinking I might sort it for my son’s birthday. How are you? How did your appointment go today? Xx

fafi · 27/07/2020 19:15

@2020wish sorry you're not feeling good! I hope you're managing to find some reassurance in your symptoms despite feeling so crap! Glad you had a lovely birthday and told some friends 😊

@VP91x aww I'm so glad you had a positive appointment and you have progress there!

@Tink20058 flutters! How exciting! 🦋

@Ra1nb0w123 welcome to the group and sorry for your loss. Although it can be implantion cramps try not to symptom spot too much it can drive you potty! Time will tell 🔮

@MrsK21 I hope your appointment goes ok and brings you some calm.

@Hayley19835 oooh fingers crossed! ✨

Mommybear05 · 27/07/2020 18:56

@SmileyT could the exhaustion also be to early pregnancy for you??? Haha

Girls I’m spotting today. Cd22. 7 days post ovulation. For the last few months since mc I spot every time before af but it’s always cd 24 or 25. What’s going on? 😫 I know 7 days post ovulation could be implantation but I always hold on to that when I have spotting before af and get my dreams dashed!
On the plus side there will be a December baby in the family this year after all- just been told my uncles gf is pg 😃 x

SmileyT · 27/07/2020 18:28

@MichT4 I feel ya, Monday always comes around too quick and I definitely jinxed myself saying that I had a quiet day 😂 really hope you see a temp rise tomorrow x

@VP91x ahh yeah don't worry about me I'm still here, just trying to avoid thinking too much about the scan next week by distracting myself. So glad the Drs appt was productive and good to have loads of dates that you can look forward to and gain more info if you get to that stage but still hoping you won't need them. What do you have planned for your last week off work? And DIY left? Also yay to Lapland 🥳

Also can I just say to all you mummies out there that are entertaining little ones especially if you're trying to work at the same time, I salute you, I have my nephews for a couple nights and honestly I end up napping on the stairs in between games as I'm exhausted 😂

Lollol86 · 27/07/2020 18:06

@VP91x that does sound amazing. I love Christmas 🎄

VP91x · 27/07/2020 18:03

@Lollol86 I know it is so pricey 😩 but you seem to get quite alot of activities. They do toy making which they get to keep, gingerbread making, theres ice skating too and ofc father christmas at the end. I booked for Nov 17th because it was £69pp so ended up at £243 once I'd added in some ticket insurance etc. I'm such a sucker for Christmas things! Xx

@VP91x no I haven't been, it does look amazing. I just looked at the cost for a family of 4 🙈 I've just been looking at this. Tickets go on sale in 3 days and I am tempted but just not sure because of Covid.

VP91x · 27/07/2020 17:55

@Lollol86 no, I haven't been before but it looks so good! Have you been? X

@MichT4 ooh I'm not sure!! I'll have a little read xx

OP posts:
Lollol86 · 27/07/2020 17:50

@VP91x have you been to Lapland uk before?

MrsK21 · 27/07/2020 17:39

Thanks everyone for the moral support and hand holding! I'll let you know how it goes and fingers crossed I get some answers xxx

MichT4 · 27/07/2020 17:24

Thanks @VP91x

I'm tempted to get it but I haven't had PCOS confirmed again yet. Wonder if it would hurt anyway? Might bring my cycle length down xx

CasperFlamingo · 27/07/2020 17:20

@VP91x thanks for the advice 🙌🏻

VP91x · 27/07/2020 17:18

@CasperFlamingo that me laugh so much 😂 I think maybe just keep to that this month and see how you go? The OPKs will give you a fairly good indication.

@MichT4 ooh that looks fab! This is the one I bought if you want to look at the info..

@MichT4 😂 first heard it off the 80+ yr old gentleman we're buying our house from 😂 it's a brilliant saying 😂

MichT4 · 27/07/2020 17:11

@VP91x ooh I've not heard of that. Maybe I'll check it out in case mine is back. But then I'll be the pea in a barrel (love that @CasperFlamingo 😂😂)

I just saw this on Instagram and thought of anyone who needed to entertain kids. I might get one for myself

CasperFlamingo · 27/07/2020 17:06

@VP91x yeah, I'm going to start OPKing from now onwards to see if anything's going on. Bought the femometer ones after the recommendations I got on here previously. Have carried on taking Vit D and Folic Acid on advice of EPU. Not sure what else to take that might help things. Don't want to start rattling like a pea in a barrel! 😂

VP91x · 27/07/2020 17:00

@CasperFlamingo will you maybe do OPKs for now just in case? X

@Northernsoul90 yes, so excited to go, I need stop spending money though 😐😐

@MichT4 haha, yes definitely I have bought some Inofolic which is a recommended supplement for PCOS so I thought it would be good to start taking. I won't take any EPO or anything this month. See how it goes!

Bonus OPK 😂 yes that sounds like a good sign! I hope you are in tune, would be great to feel a bit more aligned xx

OP posts:
MichT4 · 27/07/2020 16:39

Oh and @VP91x weird about the temp thing. If I get a spike tonight I'm going to feel so (falsely) in tune with my body. Just can't believe what a hot moment I had 😂

MichT4 · 27/07/2020 16:37

@VP91x ooh Lapland! How exciting.

And yes I'm pretty sure bodies are geared up to do what we want precisely when we are about to get some answers, or when we have spent money on something TTC related! Fingers crossed anyway. I'm hoping my blood tests will do that same to me!

I came home and did a bonus OPK, it's now 51 on fem and negative on glow so I'm hoping that's a good sign?

xx

Northernsoul90 · 27/07/2020 15:46

@MrsK21 Good luck for your app later, try not to be too nervous and just think of it as a massive step in the right direction. Once you've got the ball rolling you will get some answers soon enough. I agree with @MichT4 and definitely try to get them to scan you and ask what are the possible reasons for delayed af. Let us know how you get on ❤️

@Ra1nb0w123 Thank you! It does make it easier knowing we are all in this together! Xx

@Jazper Yes I was so happy to see a peak! We will hopefully be testing around the same time I should be due af on around the 7th/8th 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@VP91x Thank you! I hope so too that would be amazing! I'm really glad things are moving forward for you 💕 and the Lapland tickets! Bet you can't wait to go xx

CasperFlamingo · 27/07/2020 14:55

@VP91x I took a cheapie PG test on Saturday and got a BFN so 🤷🏼‍♀️

VP91x · 27/07/2020 14:32

Another positive for today - managed to get Lapland UK tickets 🥳 xx

OP posts:
VP91x · 27/07/2020 14:32

@Northernsoul90 thank you so much, yeah I think it's relaxed me knowing like, this month I'll have bloods so if no ovu then I can just wait for AF without questioning any symptoms. Then the following cycle then gynae appt.

Yay to being almost through first week of TWW. I hope AF never returns and you get a BFP🥰

@MichT4 thank you - maybe my body will wise up this cycle and get me pregnant before having to go to my appointment. That's how it works right 👀 xx

@2020wish I'm glad you had a lovely birthday. It sounds like you have some really supportive friends. ❤️

@Tink20058 so gorgeous you are feeling the first few flutters. I'm glad all is okay 🥰xx

@Renna sounds like a fab weekend! Definitely good to let your hair down. Hopefully you can pin ovulation on your normal day this month and Devon will be your lucky charm 🤞xx

@Wishingfornumber2 haha they normally entertain her for about an hour because she's so fickle 😭 I don't think I could have coped working from home and have the LO. Must be so hard. Yes I was doing 2 x morning 2 x evening.

@Ra1nb0w123 welcome ❤️ sorry you had such a recent loss. Positive that you ovulated soon after, I hope you get a BFP this month. So difficult in the TWW as progesterone could be the reason for alot of symptoms also your so soon after your MC that things are probably changing anyway. Fingers crossed for you xx

@MrsK21 I'm sorry you're feeling so nervous 😩 but it's great that you're seeing them today. At least with the scan you can see if there is anything physically wrong straight away. Like @MichT4 ask them for details on exactly what they are seeing and all your options for next steps. Sending you a virtual hand hold and hug. Hope it all goes okay xx

@CasperFlamingo it probably is your AF maybe because of the MC you didn't build up much to get a proper flow. However have you taken a PG test? Xx

@Jazper haha, do they play nicely together? Sounds like you'll have a fun afternoon, honestly don't know how you've been doing it. Super woman 👌. Thank you lovely ❤️

@Hayley19835 thank you 🥰 ah, moments like that are so frustrating. I would definitely say if you aren't too anxious about it to test tomorrow to just know where you are and then maybe OPK in case the mid cycle bleed reset things?

@MichT4 I have always felt warmer in that period after suspected ovulation. Almost like little hot flushes or my feet have felt really warm etc! Hope this is a good sign for you xx

OP posts:
MichT4 · 27/07/2020 14:10

@Hayley19835 Are your cycles usually quite regular? Maybe wait a couple of days to see, but might be worth taking a test if it's unusual to be late. The mid-cycle bleed - could it have been IB? Sorry, you've probably been through this with us here xx

MichT4 · 27/07/2020 14:07

@Ra1nb0w123 ahh, I look forward to following yours also. I know what you mean - easier said than done to be cool as a cucumber, let's see how long it lasts.

Question for you all, and most likely my mind playing tricks on me, but does anyone feel noticeably hotter after ovulation? I think it's extremely unlikely that I am aware of ovulation but I just got really hot at work, had to open a window, take of my jumper etc etc. Really unlike me

Am I going mad(der)? xx
