Thanks ladies ! It was just so confusing to have a peak opk 2 days later I went to my donor 10 hour round drip and overnight stay atleast I covered myself just in case. I just feel like I should have had a bfp at 10dpo but know a lot of people don't.

LT103 · 03/08/2020 21:38

@ohsotrying welcome. I’d say you ovulated cd 13 or 14 looking at your temp chart. Looks good so far if temp still up at 10dpo!! 🤞🤞🤞

Mrschips07 · 03/08/2020 21:29

Welcome @ohsotrying !

That all sounds pretty promising and your chart (from my VERY basic knowledge, mainly thanks to @LT103) looks good too!

My boobs hurt in the same way you described, like the tissue closest to my body - been like that last couple of days but then today my nipples have got really sore too. So I wouldn't worry.

When is your AF due?

Thank you for this thread! Can I join? First month probably TTC. Mines slightly more complex as it's with a fork got postive opk on 22nd had donations then and 23rd then got another postive if 26 so had one 26 and 27. Flo says I'm 6dpo, FF and another says 10dpo and according to last opk I should be 8dpo! I'm so confused! I'm such a poas addict. Two one steps and a frer-this had a line but colourless. One step I think had a squinter. I've taken a few tests knoe but promising myself I won't tommrow. I swear I'm getting pain in Brest but they feel behind the breast of that makes sense so not sure, felt nauseous when you big to bed and crampin for last 4 days ! Hoping it will all make sense soon

Thank you so much, @beckyBP! 💜

SusuHopeful · 03/08/2020 21:16

I've also been experiencing shortness of breath when I speak or move short distances.

beckyBP · 03/08/2020 21:14

@SusuHopeful ah that's amazing news! 👏🏽❤️ congratulations x

SusuHopeful · 03/08/2020 20:50

Thank you so much, @Mrschips07! Other than the bloating and stabbing pains I feel great! No boob pain yet but I read not everyone gets it. We're super excited about all this and can't wait to post the pic.

SusuHopeful · 03/08/2020 20:48

Btw I'm 32 and hubby turned 40 this May.

Mrschips07 · 03/08/2020 20:47

Welcome @SusuHopeful ! I enjoyed reading your story, and congratulations to you! How do you feel?

As you are new I think you have to wait 48h to upload a pic unfortunately, but please come back and post it when you can!

Hi ladies! First time for me being on Mumsnet and participating in ttc forums...

Boy am I in shock.

DH and I have been ttc since September '19.. Also beginning of the year was very difficult for us stress-wise, however the covid seemed to have been a time where we could relax again and
enjoy each other like before. We decided that "if it happens, it happens" . I was horribly disappointed when I got a consecutive bfn on March '20, and decided to focus on myself and dissertation (I'm due to submit it by Jan' 21 so we were ok with that assuming we'd have the baby later after). Started thinking about building my house and continuing my career beginning of next year...

Fast forward today, this cycle has been pretty interesting for me.. I could feel every twinge, pull, stitch, stab- you name it- throughout the entire process. I felt my ovulation pain on cd14 even though my fertility app says I'd ovulate on the 17.. I have a 30-31 day cycle. I chose to follow my instincts! So, basically we dtd from that day up to yesterday (I think we took it too far as well lol). I usually get med-high PMS symptoms (breast tenderness, cramps two days prior AF, irritability, bloating, etc.), however started getting shooting pain that'd migrate around my pelvic area (rectal, vaginal, cervical) as well as up to my left side of bellybutton at 3dpo up to today. They don't last much but enough to jolt me off my seat.

The biggest giveaway this month was when I bent to pick up my shower gel and had the worst lower back pain of all. Like someone struck me with a steel bat 😭 My husband had to help me back up and take me to bed, followed by massage and warm pack. Never experienced that in my life! He joked about me being preggos but I scoffed it off.. It's been so many negatives I was used to it Grin

Fast forward today, I decided to go shopping. My palms itched so I gave in and grabbed a couple of PTs on my way home. Took my sweet time around and didn't think much into it and I took the first test just for the fun of it (I'm currently 12dpo).. Bfp!!
I'm still sort of denial.. I'm going to take it again day after tomorrow just to be certain, after that I'll set up an appointment with ob-gyn.

Is there a way to attach my pic to show?

Hoping for the best, and baby dust to all! ❤️

beckyBP · 03/08/2020 19:00

@NoodleKT @LT103 that's so helpful! Thanks ladies. I'm trying SMEP too this month.. I think I'm putting too much pressure on 🙈 it's only month 2 TTC x

LT103 · 03/08/2020 18:38

Basically keep testing til you get a peak. Once you get peak, you ovulate Approx 12-36 hours later

LT103 · 03/08/2020 18:37

@beckyBP I started testing cd 9 too. That’s one of my cycles of that makes it easier to understand?

NoodleKT · 03/08/2020 18:20

@beckyBP I started using my opks on day 8 of my cycle. Got some lows then about four days of high and then peak stayed visible (it was a digital test) for 48hours. Not sure how the others work but def keep testing x

beckyBP · 03/08/2020 18:19

@LT103 I'm only CD 9 but just thought I'd get testing early but I just didn't understand the test 😂🙈 so basically, the darker the line the better?! X

Shouldbedancingyeah · 03/08/2020 18:00

@ NoodleKT sorry you got a negative today but remember not to lose hope too much- you’re only out when AF arrives!

LT103 · 03/08/2020 17:42

@beckyBP what cycle day are you on? That’s a low test. You want the line on the left to be as dark or darker than the control line for a peak. Keep testing once a day til you get a reading higher than 0% then start testing 2-3 times a day to make sure you don’t miss the peak. It will stay low til near ovulation then I usually get one day of high readings, then my peak, then following day it drops back down. I had 2 days of peak this time.

beckyBP · 03/08/2020 15:20

Hey ladies, this is the first time I'm taking an ovulation test and I don't get it 😩 on Femometer this is coming up as LH 0%. Any advice?

@NoodleKT Can understand why you are anxious, but there is still time. Fingers crossed for you. Keep me updated!

@Mrschips07 12DPO I think, AF due Wednesday. This is month 9 of trying after my MC so getting worried

Mrschips07 · 03/08/2020 13:49

@NoodleKT Ah sorry to hear it was negative. Did you use a frer? How many dpo? You aren't out yet!

OP posts:
NoodleKT · 03/08/2020 13:40

I caved again!
Did a test, def no line!
I dunno for it's because I'm not pregnant or if it's because it isn't fmu, period isn't due till weds (not Tuesday like I thought!) and I'm peeing at least hourly 😂

I'm a little crushed

NoodleKT · 03/08/2020 12:08

I'm peeing so often I don't think I could wait that long! Haha
They weren't as bad as I was expecting, think they were just under £8 on Amazon with Prime delivery for a pack of two. Cheaper than the Clearblues! I have one ClearBlue digital (not weeks counter) left from what the study sent me but as you guys have said they aren't as sensitive as others I'm going to hold off on that one!

Mrschips07 · 03/08/2020 12:05

@NoodleKT oh no! You can always try a 4-5 hour hold and test in the afternoon, tbh you are probably better off waiting til tomorrow morning tho, as frers are so expensive you don't want to waste one!
