TTC after MC - July 2020 (Thread 7)

@Mommybear05 hello 👋🏼 I’m okay thank you! How are you? Yeah it was very drawn out I guess. But we’re here now 😊 and fingers crossed for another BFP soon! Yes defos have to agree.. the cb ones are so much clearer and felt good to get a smiley! Post all of those horrid blank circles, lol! So how many DPO do you make us? I think I’m on 2DPO and CD 23! Aw so you’ve got one baby? Do you have a girl, boy? How old? 😊 so with having a bubba, breastfeeding and a m/c your cycle must have been up and down!! Glad your getting back in tune with it though. Defos helps doesn’t it when ttc having a more regular cycles. I came off the pill last October when me and my partner brought our house. Then I fell in January, my cycles were getting closer together after coming off the pill. I’m hoping this cycle will be 30 ish days but let’s see what both of our tww’s bring! Xxx

@Rb486 ovulation buddy how are you? Sorry to hear with your mc you had two lots of medical management. That must have been tough! April to June drawn out for such a long time 😢 Yes glad that you left those sticks behind when you went away. You need to leave it for your sanity sometimes. Yes I used cheapies before but I don’t want to use them again even though I have a cupboard full as it’s just not clear enough for me with the whole it needs to be as dark or darker thing. I find it hard to judge. But then I thought cb would work out expensive but really not as I now realise one pack lasts several months 😊 but the real reason I wasn’t testing before wasn’t the price of cb it was because I didn’t want to test every single day I felt too upset. But again now I know with Cb you only test for so many days per cycle so it’s all good.
I’m impatient this month! I generally spot before af around cd 24 so we will see (getting more in touch with cycles now so I know now the spotting is normal for me as before had no clue about my cycle after over 10 years on the pill, then pregnancy, then breastfeeding, then miscarriage) so post mc I had not clue what my cycles should be. I’m getting in tune now :) xx

I guess we just have to take one step at a time. Like I say Friday is my next step to see if everything has gone and I’ll have a chat with them. See where I go from there x

So girls following my positive ovulation test on Sunday we dtd that day and sorry tmi but the next day we went to do it and I had worn out my hubby 🤣🤣🤣 that has never happened ever haha. But now I’m reading you are more fertile the day after you get your peak so that day was most important 🙈 oh well we will see. Feeling so impatient this month. Really want my bfp in time for my 5 yr wedding anniversary 😍

@Renna oh no that’s such a shame about your house. Are you in a chain/ selling your home? I’m so not sure why your af is late. After mc it can mess with hormones and make things all over the place x

My doctor didn't even talk to me about the Provera. The nurse called and said that I can take it. She didn't even warn me about any side effects so at this stage I'm not bothered to contact them. I will just wait until my appointment with the fertility doctor.

Hi all xx been to the zoo today was lovely but had another breakdown this morning. Found out our new build house... which was meant to be ready june had already been delayed to sept due to Covid and now delayed until jan 2021 !!! I just cried so much. beginning of this year I thought I was getting a baby and a house ... now neither.... .and I'm gonna have to apply for 2 mortgage offer extensions as they only do 3 months at a time and its 5% mortgage so just so scared we will loose this house too as I keep hearing 5 % mortgages are less available now after covid..
Also ... I am now 6 days late for AF !? I do not know what is going on and what to figure out what to do... I've never been this late other than when I was pg ..... I got a BFN sunday and monday. Cervix still feels closed and CM is more wet than dry . So I obvs keep getting Hope's up and googling all these scenarios where ladies get late BFPs..... so I have a glimmer of hope ... then I'm like or the alternative is that there is something wrong with me and no AF means I cant carry on TTC ... dont know how much more I can take 😥😥 xxx

@Lollol86 I read somewhere that you should already treat your body like a pregnant body so I stopped drinking when TTC (almost 3 years now), I don't take anti inflammatories which I definitely would take now and again for back pain and period pain, no caffeine etc and just healthy diet and conception vitamins.

@MichT4 you can't beat pasta 🤤 and I think especially in the first cycle it makes sense to give your body a bit more time as may still be recovering and like you say whatever happens at least you have those tests to get some extra answers or you'll get your BFP x

@VP91x maybe try your Drs again tomorrow for some blood work and say it's affecting your mental health, I just worry that A&E won't be willing to help and don't want you to sit there for ages for them to tell you they won't do anything 😭 really hope it is a good sign though and this is just a distraction until good news on Saturday x

@2020wish I'm not going to do anything intense just remind myself that our bodies don't really need much more food when pregnant, try not to snack and make the majority of my meals balanced so I'm giving my pregnancy everything I can to progress. So less sweets, choc, cake etc that do me no good and see how I get on x

@chloedancer897 I did seed cycling last month (well at least the 2nd half) it can only help can't it x

@chloedancer897 absolutely no harm, I don't drink coffee but do drink Diet Coke but have limited that to 2 a day so I'm no where near maximum caffeine intake xx

@Lollol86 I'm actually really liking it. I've cut out caffeine so instead of my morning coffee, I have a smoothie with the seeds in and it really keeps me going. After ovulation, I'm going to add pineapple core into the smoothie for 5 days (read that somewhere). If it doesn't work, at least it's good for you! So there's no harm in it I suppose.

@Runnergirl1 hi 👋🏻 sorry for your loss, I went for a scan at 7 weeks 3 days and was told baby was measuring roughly 6 weeks 4 days and that it should catch up. But sounds like if they measure small early on it can be a bad sign? Some of my friends babies have always measured smaller though, unless it’s that first 12 weeks that’s most crucial. I’m only two weeks after mc tomorrow and I want to try straight away even though the epau said to wait till after period (only gave dates as reason though). We’re DTD every other night and I’m testing for ovulation everyday as I have no idea what will happen when now 😩 my pregnancy tests still have a faint second line.

@VP91x it looked like a proper bleed 😭 bright red blood not even mixed with cm. I initially thought maaaaaybe it's from dtd last night, but I see it's continuing. Every time I go to the loo and wipe, it's bright red. Maybe my half a dose of Provera somehow worked 😂

How are you doing? Is the spotting still going on?

@chloedancer897 I don't need lube either which is why I kind of wrote that off. I will have another look into it. How are you finding the seed cycle so far? Xx

@Lollol86 it apparently just helps hold the semen there like a little semen trap haha. I don't really need lubricant but honestly, I'm trying anything now. I've attached a pic for seed cycling
