Hi everyone I had a normal miscarriage on the 22nd may then 2weeks later they found another baby in my left tube which they had to remove on the 7th June.

It's been 6 weeks now and I never did have a period since. The last 2 week's I have had period pains that feel like I was going to start then the last 2 days my nipples have become so sore and flaky so I took a test and I am 2-3 weeks pregnant. I cannot believe it, that means I must of gotten caught 3 weeks after surgery. I didn't even know that was possible, has anyone else gotten pregnant straight away, I am so scared that it's going to happen again.

Xx

@VP91x work was fine thanks, really busy which is good. It's funny I'm now so aware of things that are causing underlying stress. Had an email today from someone being difficult, she has been for years, but today I had this real sort of anxiety about it and straight away was aware that I didn't want to let it bother me. I think before I'd let things sit in my mind and they didn't feel like a burden but they were. I'm not at a point where I'm trying to not have additional stresses and I noticed it today when I just dealt with it rather than let it worry me endlessly. Not sure if that makes sense when I say it out loud. Just amazing how much extra stuff we carry.

How was the potty training while out today? Any tantrums?

@MrsK21 sorry I forgot to say, I'm a Finance Director, so an accountant but people always look at you like you're a bore when I say that 😂🤓
What do you do?

xx

MichT4 · 20/07/2020 18:30

Just seen @Jazper recommended sachets too. I can never use them because of the cranberry 🙄

@Jazper that's a lovely thing to say, thank you. I think it's just how I cope better, I couldn't be at home thinking all day. Every now and again it hits me and I have a little/big cry, but I don't want to let myself be hard on my body or let the negative thoughts take over. So keeping busy is key.

I hope you are ok, I understand sometimes it's nice to have a break. Always here though xx

fafi · 20/07/2020 18:29

@Girlmum83 thanks for sharing your beautiful scan pics! Congratulations on the healthy babies and long may it last. All the best with everything xx

VP91x · 20/07/2020 18:28

@Jazper glad to hear you are doing okay, of course I will keep you tagged in everything ❤️ keep taking care of yourself zx

And thank you for the new bus @VP91x , i'm keeping my distance at the moment but I do pop in and keep up with you all, just not obsessively like I previously was doing! Relieved for you that the SI seems to have worked this month! Fingers crossed that was IB!!! 😍 please do keep including me in the threads. I aren't leaving. Just trying to keep my head above water xx

@Northernsoul90 , really pleased to hear you got the negative test you've been desperate to see.

@MichT4 , thinking of you. You have been so strong going through another mc and keeping up with work. You should be so proud of yourself.

@SmileyT , little bean is starting put! Yey! Try to relax and don't be afraid to join those pregnancy forums. You are PREGNANT! Enjoy it 🥰

MichT4 · 20/07/2020 18:25

@VP91x any brand. You can also get the sachets that you mix with water, they are actually for UTIs and are normally cranberry flavoured.
Also, it's rank, but bicarbonate soda mixed with water takes the sting out. But it's awful so last resort there.
I also found sitting in a warm bath helps xx

VP91x · 20/07/2020 18:21

@Jazper how have you been getting on? Xx

OP posts:
VP91x · 20/07/2020 18:20

@MichT4 @Northernsoul90 @Jazper thank you so much ladies. Any particular brand? Or all okay? I'll go and grab some this evening. So uncomfortable! Xx

Jazper · 20/07/2020 18:18

I had them recurrent from about 17 years of age @VP91x , the powders are the absolute best for treating them. You can get them off the shelf in most supermarkets. You won't need antibiotics unless it's not shifting after a few days.
Powders come in a pack of 6, taken over two days. One sachet of powder usually subsides it for me then you need to continue the course x

Northernsoul90 · 20/07/2020 18:15

@VP91x Oh no they are the worst 😫 I have heard cranberry juice can work I haven't tried it myself though, have always just rang the docs for antibiotics xx

MichT4 · 20/07/2020 18:12

@VP91x oh no 😭
Antibiotics are best, but you can try and flush it out. They say cranberry juice is good - it's how I found out I was allergic 😂 xx

VP91x · 20/07/2020 18:08

Ladies, I think I'm getting a urine infection. Do you always need to get antibiotics to clear it? I haven't had one in years! Last time I remember having tablets Xx

@Girlmum83 such gorgeous scan pics! Wishing you all the very best with your pregnancy. Take care of yourself❤️xx

@MichT4 haha, that is definitely it. Stupid things, and the amount of money I've spent on them 😩 they must make a killing in general!

@Northernsoul90 haha that made me laugh with the boob thing, the things we do🙈 yeah definitely can't wait to bin all TTC things!

@Firevie as the other ladies said I think it is quite normal for it to be a bit stop start for a couple of weeks whilst everything settles xx

@MrsK21 thank you so much. Yeah it is best to do it at the same time but, I normally temp between 5-6am at the latest. Usually, there isn't too much variation! Xx

@chloedancer897 I hope you're okay lovely, that doesn't sound very pleasant. Keep topped up with some painkillers and hopefully it goes soon. I think it is normal to have heavier periods especially the first couple xx

@SmileyT ah no, only jaffas for lunch! Bet you're starving. Hope you have a yummy dinner. We spent the afternoon in the wildlife park which was lovely in the weather 🥰. Xx

@Girlmum83 prayers and best wishes as you go forward! What a lovely post. Your babies are beautiful. Much love xx

Northernsoul90 · 20/07/2020 17:16

@MrsK21 I know I think we could all gain PHDs in the field 🙈

@Pugprincess I just hope everything settles to normal and I get some kind of proper cycle back soon...I hope yours goes back soon too 🙏🏼

Pugprincess · 20/07/2020 17:02

@Girlmum83 all the best and take good care xxx

Pugprincess · 20/07/2020 16:58

@2020wish unfortunately not cause it was through agency and they were good enough to keep me on during lockdown so I just put up and shut up.
@chloedancer897 hospital warned me my first period after mc is likely to be heavier. I flood day one anyway so I’m dreading that.
@Northernsoul90 I know what you mean about worrying if ovulation or af will come on time, I’m anxious about it too. @MrsK21 I hope yours comes soon it must be driving you mad, well done for trying to keep busy xx

2020wish · 20/07/2020 16:54

@Girlmum83 amazing pictures!!! I wish u all the best and healthy happy rest of ur 9 months x

2020wish · 20/07/2020 16:52

@1990EM totally understandable ... I’m very concerned myself... but feel safer with u ladies and knowing I can rejoin at anytime if god forbids I have to leaves. Even if you make a ‘fake’ fb so u don’t have to reactivate ur old one. But you can let me know x

@chloedancer897 after ovulation xx

MrsK21 · 20/07/2020 16:49

@SmileyT thank you for the advice on the temping. I'll persist with it for now and see how I get on but will keep an eye out for a reasonably priced AVA too. I'm really trying my hardest to make TTC feel less process driven (but failing miserably lol)

MrsK21 · 20/07/2020 16:47

@Northernsoul90 never thought there was such a thing as cycles numbering 40 + etc! What a steep learning curve this has been. Pre MC I'd never even realised OPKs existed, all the various hormone names, testing times etc. I think a few of us on here can get degrees in endocrinology at this rate lol

@Girlmum83 your post has made me so emotional. Best wishes to you for the next few months and I hope your twins arrive safe and sound xxx

@MichT4 oh the thought of holding my wee gives me nightmares, I've had a UTI before from not going to the loo on time and the thought of that is putting me right off OPKs. Could be why I've never had a peak OPK - I drink like a fish!

MichT4 · 20/07/2020 16:44

@SmileyT your lunch sounds similar to mine. I had a chocolate hobnob and an orange club. I really need to get better at preparing lunch again. Or getting off my bum and going to the shop xx
