I'll jump on the supplement sharing too.

I'm taking: pregnacare conception, CoQ10 200mg, vit d (vitabiotics one - it's high strength but I'm deficient).
Also trying to lose weight (I'm petite but put on about 6kg during the whole lockdown/miscarriage/feeling sorry for myself saga) so have cut out all junk, excess sugar and general crap I started eating. Restarted on my fitness and aiming to workout 4-5 times a week (currently easier said than done).

Oh and remembering to DTD on top of everything 🤣

Hoping my tests say everything's in good working order and I can be less strict with everything and relax about TTC a bit xxx

fafi · 21/07/2020 17:53

@MichT4 the dose I used to take in a single vitamin D tablet was much higher - though I was deficient. But you're right! I can't really remember what my reasoning was when I decided to take the extra. I'm about to run out so might just replace with calcium alone. I take the calcium with a different meal to pregnacare as I think there is something to do with taking iron and calcium together that should be avoided.

MichT4 · 21/07/2020 17:45

@fafi do you take extra vit D? I take pregnacare and it has 800iu of Vit D so I thought best not take more as it could be too much?

fafi · 21/07/2020 17:36

I currently take pregnacare, vegan omega and calcium +vit D - I am vegan hence the omega and calcium with my vit D, though I track my food most days on my fitness pal and I usually hit most of my calcium requirements but it's hard when you have an off day (but I guess that's the same for everyone)

fafi · 21/07/2020 17:34

@Hayleylou89 omg what a gorgeous video! I have not filmed / documented anything! Maybe I will now xx

@2020wish I am so glad you had a positive appointment with your doctor, I think I might consider taking asprin too, just feel a bit nervous about it for some reason!

Northernsoul90 · 21/07/2020 17:23

@Hayleylou89 Lovely video 🥰

Whilst everyone is talking supplements I thought I'd share what I take, any suggestion as to what I can add welcome! I take 4000iu Vit D which I am going to swap to 1000 as I think that's a bit much, and then folic acid with b 12. I bought coQ10 but reacted to it. DH is on the coQ10 and a wellnman conception multi vitamin. I can't take aspirin as I'm contraindicated but will get Pom juice for tww... I have calc Fluor for then too xx

2020wish · 21/07/2020 17:22

@Pugprincess yes a glass a day. I have to admit I didn’t not know that and was drinking a full bottle a day. Costing me a fortune and then realised it was near 500 calories and so much sugar!!!! Hahah so I’m down to taking a glass a day

Pugprincess · 21/07/2020 17:17

@2020wish thank you for that. So is it a glass a day of pom juice after ovulation during the two week wait?

MichT4 · 21/07/2020 17:17

@VP91x how are you? Any progression on the UTI or spotting? xx

MichT4 · 21/07/2020 17:15

@1990EM thank you. I just hope it really is it and I'm not being tricked by sticks. I trust it more because they got lighter again before that. And also, this may be asking too much now, but while we are hoping for things, I hope that it's also a lucky month!
How are you? xx

Lollol86 · 21/07/2020 17:14

@Hayleylou89 that video is just perfect, oh your mum ❤️❤️. Honestly I'm not crying you are 😂😂 congratulations 🥳

1990EM · 21/07/2020 17:06

PS @MichT4 insanely happy to see that super positive opk!

1990EM · 21/07/2020 17:05

I never thought about vitamin D, so interesting! I had been taking it anyway as I have a slight deficiency but never thought of it as helpful to ttc. Maybe it helped!

1990EM · 21/07/2020 17:03

@Hayleylou89 I cried while watching your video! Honestly, big tears are rolling down my cheeks! Just so happy for you. So lovely 😍

Renna · 21/07/2020 16:59

@2020wish thank you for the message xx and so good of the new doctor :) sounds really positive and reassuring xxx

2020wish · 21/07/2020 16:55

@Renna I private messaged you?

2020wish · 21/07/2020 16:52

@MichT4 current uk guidelines is 150mg per day for pregnancy/implantation. So I’ve been taking 75mg in the morning and 75mg at night. Not sure if this is correct but I know some people just take it all at night

MichT4 · 21/07/2020 16:49

@2020wish what a lovely doctor - that's great. How much aspirin do you take?
It's great you're being well looked after x

2020wish · 21/07/2020 16:44

This is the pom juice

2020wish · 21/07/2020 16:44

Also my partner has been taking omega 3 and his conception vits along with hcg.

2020wish · 21/07/2020 16:43

@Pugprincess and for those asking this what I’m taking. Vit d 1000iu, vital dha, coq10, b6complex, seven seas trying for a baby, folic acid, aspirin progesterone cream and Pom juice after ovulation, I also take extra iodine and magnesium. Here are some photos.

I’ve just had the most lovely conversation with a really nice new doctor at my surgery. She has signed me off for 8 weeks to get me to the 12 week mark, she asked me was I taking aspirin and was happy when I said yes. She also asked was I taking vit d and was happy to hear I’m taking a high dose of it. She said she’s referring me urgently to obstetrics and to ring that department tomorrow in the hospital to chase them up to get seen and they may put me on progesterone pesseries or clexane etc. Said with my history being in work wouldn’t do me any good being worried.

@Hayleylou89 awww love the video xx so happy for you x so sweet x I've not messaged on here before but can you or @2020wish message me about the hcg please and where you get it from? :) xxx or I'll try find how to message you lol xxx

Hayleylou89 · 21/07/2020 16:33

@renna the hcg id recommend trying so much as @2020wish said it improves their mood / performance etc and the added bonus is increase sperm count thats the main factor.. not many downsides really other than its an injection x

MichT4 · 21/07/2020 16:30

That's beautiful @Hayleylou89. So happy for you xx

Pugprincess · 21/07/2020 16:27
