@BKone I can definitely understand why you are anxious. I've also had glimmers and faint positives, it's crap. If it was all BFN I think I would be more relaxed. My pain is left sided but it really feels like cyst pain which I always get on this side.

If you are concerned AT ALL I would call your doctor, it is better to be safe than sorry especially if you have been sick. Have you got a temperature at all?

BKone · 09/08/2020 11:57

@Mrschips07 oh no!! Hope.your home stays Covid free! What a pain.

I only have one cb digi in the house which I won't waste. I've continued to have negatives. Im on 13dpo today, I plan to use the digital on Tuesday morning and then if I dont get anything I will book a drs appt. I am now 3 days late for AF and I am never late. I am a little worried about ectopic preg, because I have been getting random faint positives and all.negatives around it and i have right side cramping and keep throwing up. My mum had an ectopic and lost a tube, so it does make me alert. To be honest I think the sickness is just anxiety, this whole experience has made me feel so anxious. Im usually so level headed but since I got that fain positive at 7/8dpo I have just been frantically hoping to see it again. It was a cruel trick of the tests to show me a faint line again on 11dpo, then nothing again since.

I hope you get an answer soon too, thanks for checking in x

Mama1993 · 09/08/2020 11:13

@Teapotdespot tbh that would make more sense than anything else right now! My GP had no insight but I might call back up tomorrow and ask to be referred to a midwife.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Mrschips07 · 09/08/2020 10:11

@Caaat yep that's positive!

@BKone how are you doing today?

13dpo today and I have no tests left, AF was due yesterday but no signs yet. To make matters harder my DS is unwell and showing covid symptoms so we all have to isolate til we get his test results back! Not sure when I'll get to test now 😅

LouJ85 · 09/08/2020 10:11

@Caaat i hear you! I carried my BFP stick around the house with me for about an hour or so afterwards, shaking and crying. I even still had it in my hand when I FaceTimed my best friend. She was like "don't you think you should put that pee stick down now?!" 😆

Caaat · 09/08/2020 10:01

@LouJ85 @mrsmummy1111 thanks!

I have a Frer I'll do tomorrow, my OH thinks I'm nuts because I wanted to keep it until I was sure I'd get a positive 😂

mrsmummy1111 · 09/08/2020 09:15

@Caaat That's not even a squinter. That's a ginormous obvious line! CONGRATS

LouJ85 · 09/08/2020 09:01

@Caaat I can see a faint line! I got BFP at 11dpo too.

Caaat · 09/08/2020 08:32

Hi! Am I seeing things? I'm 11 dpo, AF due on Friday I think.

@Teapotdespot
I thought they might be, but I'll definitely push the issue. I've also found a place right near me that does private scans from 5 weeks, Window to the Womb, prices look reasonable. I'll contact them. Thanks Smile

Teapotdespot · 09/08/2020 07:27

@LouJ85 they’re super reluctant to scan people at the moment because of covid but if you press the issue and insist they’ll probably do it for you. I also have a private scan booked at 8 weeks so DH can come, it was £70 so not had.

LouJ85 · 09/08/2020 07:10

Also my miscarriage was 6 months before I fell pregnant with my daughter - and I remember them scanning me at a very early point to check for heartbeat (using an internal scan) and they also did blood tests to check my levels of hcg were increasing as they should. This was 15 years ago (my daughter is almost 14), but I remember this is how they approached it back then. I don't know if that history alone is enough to get an early scan or if I'd need to experience pain? I just don't know. My head is all over!

LouJ85 · 09/08/2020 07:06

@Teapotdespot
Oh i see. The scan must have been reassuring for you then.
I had a molar pregnancy and miscarriage before my daughter, a scan would really put my mind at rest too. I'm going to ask doctors tomorrow if they'll do it as i don't want to feel too excited like I did last time if this isn't a viable pregnancy. Sad

Teapotdespot · 09/08/2020 07:05

@Mama1993 with one of my previous miscarriages, I had what I thought was a normal period, then 2 weeks later started randomly bleeding again so I tested and sure enough, I was pregnant and it turned out I’d actually fallen pregnant in the previous cycle and my ‘period’ was actually the earliest part of a miscarriage. My baby survived that and kept growing, HCG continued to rise, but I sadly then went on to lose it shortly after the second bleed.

Sorry if that’s morbid, what I’m trying to say is loads of women get what they think is a period in the first month of pregnancy :)

Teapotdespot · 09/08/2020 06:56

@LouJ85 I do have a history of miscarriage hence they’re scanning me, all my pain is on one side hence they’re also worried about ectopic. I also have a ‘something’ attached to one of my ovaries which looks like either a follicle or something more sinister, they’re keeping an eye on that too.

iftherewereahorseyinthehouse · 08/08/2020 21:58

@ElfCakes I can see a line on the second test. I think you need to do a first response....

BKone · 08/08/2020 21:46

@Kliz92 thank you so much for replying. You have no idea how much it has chilled me out to hear this. Hope everything is going well. Congrats xx

Kliz92 · 08/08/2020 20:26

@BKone hi!! Yeah i did IC for 3 days after i missed my period. Then on the fifth day i did a clearblue and it was positive!!! My fingers are crossed for you 🤞🤞 xx

Mrschips07 · 08/08/2020 20:15

Also appreciate your post @mrsmummy1111 and you are right.

I'm 12dpo today, AF due today and only had whispers of lines. I think I'm probably out, sadly.

ElfCakes · 08/08/2020 18:44

@BPT2019 no it was mid afternoon but I held it in!

BKone · 08/08/2020 18:17

Thanks for the honesty @mrsmummy111 I am 12 or 13 dpo only still as I have a short luteal phase, so im keeping my glimmer of hope for another 24 hours or so, but i will then be realistic about it. I plan to test on Tuesday with an frer and if there is nothing there I will count myself out and wait for AF a bit more keenly.

thewallisblue · 08/08/2020 17:59

Got this today - trying not to get overexcited as I've heard CPs are quite common. I'm 10 DPO - did a FRER (faint positive). Also did internet cheapie (negative). Going to try FRER again tomorrow - wish me luck!

mrsmummy1111 · 08/08/2020 17:56

@BKone I know how you must be feeling, I had a ridiculously long cycle out of the blue (the one before I actually fell pregnant), where I am normally 28-30 days - NEVER longer in all the years I've been tracking, and for some reason this cycle was 42 days, I kept testing thinking I could see lines, and definitely got one on an FRER from amazon that I soon realised was a fake test, and eventually AF showed up on day 42. What I've realised, is that if AF is due and you're not getting a definite positive, the chances are very very slim. I really hope this doesn't come across as negative, it's more to just share my experience and not give you false hope. Keeping everything crossed for you

BPT2019 · 08/08/2020 17:41

@ElfCakes

Can anyone see lines here? The pink one was last night and i wasn't sure if I was tired and imagining things or an evap line, popped into a shop today abs they only had clear blue but again I think I see a really faint line. Don't want to show anyone IRL so thought I'd ask for opinions here please!
Hello, I can see something on the clear blue but I know they are notorious for faint lines. Did you test with FMU? X
BKone · 08/08/2020 17:21

@Kliz92 how are you getting on? I was just reading earlier pages of this mega thread and saw that you got a positive frer after AF was due for the first time, is that right? And some fain IC positives before? I am hoping it will be the same for me. AF due today, have had the odd IC line but can't get anything on a frer. Am trying to find hope that it can still happen 🙏 x
