5 failed rounds of IVF and I'm bloody preggers!!!!

Oh my god. I just have to tell SOMEONE.

We have had 5 failed rounds of IVF, the last one failed last year. Spent tens of thousands of pounds to no avail.

My period was late (which is standard really, it's all over the place at the moment) and I thought I'd just do a test so I could put the thought of being pregnant out of my mind and carry on waiting for AF to turn up.

And fuck me it was positive (excuse the language!!). I'm literally beside myself!! I have never had a BFP and was told to stop IVF, there was nothing more they could do.

It's very early, so praying all goes ok, but this is more than I've ever had before.

YAY!!!!!

Thank you so much everyone! I'm just going to be positive - the universe can't possibly be cruel enough to take this away from us now. We will have our baby!

Did another Clear Blue this morning and it says 3+ weeks and from my calculations I'm 5 weeks today. So the hormones are definitely nice and strong at the moment 😊

Please say no to anxiety, the law of attraction and all that, imagine yourself fully pregnant with a healthy squidgy baby, don't let any other scenarios enter your head!

I read that Jamie Oliver and his wife were high school sweethearts and had no children for 10? years, then had their first via IFV(don't know how many attempts though), and then were surprised to be pregnant naturally soon, the rest is history. It's as though a magic gate gets unlocked, once the woman's body knows how to get pregnant even after years of infertility, it knows how to get pregnant :) and tries to "make up" for all the missed years. 🌞

Thank you again so much everyone! I'm so grateful for your good wishes. We are now arguing about how to tell our parents 🤣 Never did I think we'd be able to argue about that so it's fine by me!

Thank you all so much! I have booked an early scan fir a couple of weeks time. Now I have the anxiety about everything being ok but just trying to remain positive.

This happened to me, thankfully my 2nd round worked and then boom 8 months after I had my son we got pregnant naturally!

Don't forget to check the use by on the folic acid. A friend decided to vitamin up with the virus and made themselves very sick. The vitamins were many years out of date !
