Oh my god. I just have to tell SOMEONE.

We have had 5 failed rounds of IVF, the last one failed last year. Spent tens of thousands of pounds to no avail.

My period was late (which is standard really, it's all over the place at the moment) and I thought I'd just do a test so I could put the thought of being pregnant out of my mind and carry on waiting for AF to turn up.

And fuck me it was positive (excuse the language!!). I'm literally beside myself!! I have never had a BFP and was told to stop IVF, there was nothing more they could do.

It's very early, so praying all goes ok, but this is more than I've ever had before.

YAY!!!!!

5 failed rounds of IVF and I'm bloody preggers!!!!

Congratulations! I’m another one who had 6 rounds of clomid, 3 rounds of IUI, 3 rounds of IVF. Gave up. Totally gave up. Next month I was pregnant with DD. Never thought we’d ever be so lucky to have two but first month trying I was pregnant again - DS.

Enjoy your pregnancy!

@jemimafuddleduck I remember you from the infertility boards last year, think we were going through an IVF at the same time. This is amazing news - huge congratulations!!

UnaOfStormhold · 13/07/2020 17:20

Congratulations :)

jemimafuddleduck · 13/07/2020 17:20

@Sunshinegirl82 how did you calculate that? I'm not sure how to work it out really.

@RestorationInsanity that's amazing for you, ours were all donor eggs too due to high FSH and very low AMH. We were told we had a 0.02% chance of conceiving naturally.

Aww congratulations. My friend gave birth 9 weeks ago after similarly being told to give up trying after IVF! Is now happily a mum to her little boy.

Thank you so much for all your well wishes! I never thought I would ever experience telling anyone I was pregnant. This is just lush ❤️

Huge congratulations @jemimafuddleduck! I'm currently 19+3 with a miracle baby, conceived on HRT after 4 years of infertility, failed IVF and egg donor IVF and an early menopause diagnosis!

Like you, I only took a test to rule it out!
