Hello 👋

How is everyone doing?

BunnyLovesBananas · 25/08/2020 09:49

Hello!

According to my scales app I have lost 8lb since 5 July! I think that's exaggerated as my first weigh in was in an afternoon which is usually higher for me! I think I've lost more like 5lb...

I haven't done any "proper" exercise this week and I haven't used MFP but I've been on three walks and I might do some Les Mills today or tomorrow...

AliceinBunnyland · 12/08/2020 19:34

@Happyalwayswinning I find steps a bit and miss unless I do dedicated exercise.

Glad to hear it.
I am doing great so far. Haven't got steps in for this week as yet.

AliceinBunnyland · 12/08/2020 10:20

I'm definitely putting fewer sugary snacks in my weekly shops, which is progress?

How are you doing?

How are you @Healthywealthypositivity?

Stepping on the scales is scary!

I didn't do any exercise yesterday and not many steps so I plan to either do some body combat today or a walk (if the weather is a bit better today)

Healthywealthypositivity · 05/08/2020 21:58

Thanks. I have lost something but too scared to step on the scales.
Well one must not deny oneself of snacks 😁

AliceinBunnyland · 05/08/2020 21:17

@Healthywealthypositivity I think I have only lost a few pounds but I can feel it and it's motivating. It definitely helps he is doing it too and he's also trying to quit smoking too!

I'm sure your diet is too bad. When I look at my snacks on MFP it doesn't look great as I have a few snacks every day and at least half of them "unhealthy" but I'm trying to limit to smaller amounts.

As you know, I don't believe in completely denying oneself!

Congrats on loosing weight, you've worked hard @AliceinBunnyland.
I also have a smart scale. Am still doing my fasting, but I have not been eating so healthy. Doing a lot more walking.

It a good thing that you're hubby is doing it with you. Makes it that much easier.

AliceinBunnyland · 05/08/2020 18:37

I put some skinny jeans on today and they feel loose so I think I've lost a bit of weight.

DH and I have decided to both try to be more healthy. We eat healthy meals but we both snack a fair amount. We have agreed to weigh ourselves on Saturdays and we also took our body measurements and put them into our smart scales app. I got fewer unhealthy snacks in today's shop by far and when I was hungry earlier I had two apples and a little bit of cheese (tiny).

I'm hungry now so going to make some dinner before I start reaching for less healthy stuff.

I am still going to snack and sometimes eat chocolate though! 😃

I also had a few days off using MFP.

That's good @Happyhappy37 I think it makes a big difference to get the steps in as it helps you burn some calories

OP posts:
Happyhappy37 · 02/08/2020 17:02

Ok that sounds like a plan.
I am fine thanks. Just tired ATM. I've been getting my steps in.

AliceinBunnyland · 02/08/2020 16:36

Thanks @Happyhappy37 I do plan to go for a walk so I just need to get off my butt and do that. It might lift my mood too!

How are you doing?

Happyhappy37 · 02/08/2020 16:32

Aaawww sorry to hear about your bunny. So sad. Take some time out to just relax

AliceinBunnyland · 02/08/2020 12:50

That should say one of my bunnies 🐰 I had two and adore them. A fox took one of them from his cage. He left him behind so we have buried him in the garden 💔

AliceinBunnyland · 02/08/2020 12:48

Hi @Happyhappy37 I'm a bit down this weekend as one of my has died.

I did some body combat yesterday and when I weighed myself on Friday I was under the 10 stone mark so that's progress!

I think I've lost 2-3lb in about four weeks which isn't a lot but it's a step in the right direction.

How are you?

@AliceinBunnyland

Happyhappy37 · 02/08/2020 10:41

How are you all doing @Thewhalewhisperer@AliceinBunnyland

AliceinBunnyland · 29/07/2020 22:12

Yes but @Happyhappy37 you are fasting so probably cutting calories a fair bit that way. I'd be surprised if you have energy to do any proper exercise!

OP posts:
Happyhappy37 · 29/07/2020 22:09

@AliceinBunnyland @Thewhalewhisperer you are both doing so well. Yes of course we have to bend the rules 🤣. I really need to try and start doing more exercise. I would lose more weight of I just stick to a 3 times per week exercise.

AliceinBunnyland · 29/07/2020 21:39

@Thewhalewhisperer Sounds like you're doing well if you've lost 2kg. I think it's good to bend the rules sometimes as none of us can be perfect forever and all that happens is you end up giving up if you're too hard on yourself.

I get what you mean about thinking about getting a BFN as I think it'll take me a another couple of months to reach my goal weight but of course that goes out the window if I get a BFP. I'd love that of course but I think it's good to have something else to focus on

💗

Thewhalewhisperer · 29/07/2020 21:00

Hello. It's so positive to see you guys getting on so well and keeping to your plans Grin
I've been vaguely sticking to mine (with a bit of rule bending at times) delighted to be 2kg down compared to this point in my last cycle so I'm pretty chuffed.
It means that if I stick with it, and if I get a bfn this month (not that I'm hoping for that...) well if I do then I should be 'healthy weight'. That would be such a huge achievement for me.

Still doing naff all exercise though so I really should start to up that some more- I did great at it in lockdown when we were only allowed out for an hour a day!

AliceinBunnyland · 29/07/2020 15:55

Well done @Happyhappy37 especially sticking to the fasting

I'm ok. AF is ok her way and I'm supposed to have the afternoon off but too busy working!

I did body combat twice yesterday so that was good. I did a half hour session then later decided to do another 20 mins as I'd eaten a lot of sugar and I felt like I had some energy. My car is in the garage so I'm waiting to hear that it's ready and then I'll walk to pick it up and that will be my walk for the day. It's quite sunny at the moment actually ☀️

I think I have lost a couple of ponds since the start of the month and with AF being here I might have actually lost more and just he a bit bloated - at least that's what I'm telling myself Grin

OP posts:
Happyhappy37 · 29/07/2020 13:47

@AliceinBunnyland I am doing great thanks. Still sticking with my fasting, also. Went out for walk today. Did 7000steps 😁

How are you doing?

AliceinBunnyland · 27/07/2020 22:56

Hiya @Happyhappy37 I'm ok thanks. It rained all day but brightened up about 7:30 so I went for a walk and haven't snacked as much as usual so pleased with that. No exercise yesterday but I'm trying to do something every other day.

MFP is good just to give a real idea of what I eat in a day. I usually have a list of snacks Grin

How are you?
