Is anyone TTC after Mirena Coil removal?

This is doing my head in now! CD14 and got a ‘high’ opk this morning but only 14%. Ff and Femometer both still say I’ve ov’ed. Just wish I could have a normal cycle where I actually know what was going on!

I should ov next couple of days if not so hopefully I’ll see something!

How frustrating for you! What about temping vaginally..? My ‘natural cycles’ bbt thermometer suggests that if you sleep with your mouth open. Fingers crossed you see a positive opk soon to answer the question!

I know it’s a bit weird, but a switched to a proper bbt thermometer on about cd3 and also I’m not sure how accurate my temps are because I sleep with my mouth open! So not sure how much I can go by them 😔
As for my cycle before, I’ve always been on hormone BC as was on pill from age 15-20 then 2 babies (with pill in between) and onto Mirena so it’s never been natural cycles. I think they were 28 days with no idea on ov day. Got pregnant on the pill twice hence the switch to the Mirena! I’m going to test a couple of time’s a day still just to see what happens. Wish I could just get a normal cycle!

@LaceyMermaid i think it’s unusual how high your temps were during AF - for them to be lower than CD1-4 after you ov is pretty impossible (if science is to be trusted over our apps 😂) so I would keep testing at say 11am and 4pm, and if it goes high again test more? Unless something was going on CD1-4? You were unusually hot or not feeling good?
I know it’s been a while but do you have any memory at all of your cycle before? I’ve only been 5 years but mine seems to have snapped straight back into what it was before the mirena?

@sup99 Yes could have done or apparently opks don’t always detect it (mr google again 🤣)I’m wondering if I drank too much with all the heat and so it wasn’t strong enough?
It’s just odd because I feel like I can’t have, but then what do I know it’s not like I know what my body feels like to ov I’ve been on Mirena for best part of 15 years!

Oh that's weird @LaceyMermaid ! May be you missed catching the surge on OPK's.? I've heard that's possible as the surge stays on only for a short while.?

My chart, Femometer ageeeing too and saying same thing!

It’s saying I oved CD10! I’ve been testing loads on opk, had a couple of highs (but they weren’t actually very high only 24%) but no peaks. Did have some watery/EWCM too which is a sign. So weird. Was so shocked when I put my temp into FF this morning and it said I’m 3dpo as temp has confirmed ov! I’ll keep testing LH just in case. Now I’m worried it’s because I’m too old!

@LaceyMermaid how weird! How often do you test your LH? CD13 would be pretty early to ov too. Did you have a temp rise for 3 days..?

So strange, I’ve been logging everything on fertility friend and Femometer this month and both are saying I’ve ovulated already despite not having any peak opks yet?! Must be based on my temps and other symptoms but I’m not sure I have. So confusing!

New (probably nothing) symptom spot - thick, white discharge today (sorry tmi). Really unusual for me so off I went, straight to google and apparently thick white discharge before af is due could be a good sign.. it shouldn’t be thick or white if you’re not pregnant (and I’ve never noticed it before). So I’ll add that to the list of things keeping me a little hopeful...

@Amy259 Yes in FW right now, next couple of days I should think I will ov as I’m getting highs on opk now but not peaks! Not feeling too positive really though, don’t know why!

@Amy259 ahh that'd be better to not test and stay positive. I'm on cd7 and FW next week 🤞

@sup99 still bfn! Felt nauseous this morning and thought I was going to be sick but still testing neg. And pretty sure I can feel AF symptoms - irritable, emotional, hungry! Classic for me a few days before... not due until Monday so might just hang off from testing because the bfns are tough! How are you doing?
