Ovulation buddies starting July 8-14

Hey everyone,

Anyone else just started ovulation or about to start in the next week. Let's start a chat and keep ourselves busy as we head through ovulation and the dreaded 2WW.

Little about me this is my 2 cycle at TTC Baby no.1 I'm about to start ovulation on fri or sat, so going to make the most of this week. I've ordered some IC ovulation sticks hopefully will arrive in next couple days and I will give them a try out. What is everyone else doing to prepare themselves for ovulation???

@BabyH88 once you know more of your cycle it's so much better I've been tracking mine for about 2years I had probably when I came on the implamon bar and went onto the pill. It messed my hormones system up like crazy. I ended up with my period for months only haveing day not on it. I went off the pill to get my myself back and now I'm regular 28days cycle and know my ovulation time because we always avoided unless protect before recently starting TTC. I like using Ovia because when entering any symptoms it gives you details of what it could be and I just started and entered my last years worth of data into femometer so I can scan my OPK sticks to get the reading only this month though.

@Tiff94 I am using clue, I will get another app going as well to make sure.
There's actually so much to think about with all this you don't anticipate it before you start trying. So glad I can ask all of you for advice. Thank you for your help.

@BabyH88 I'm not sure about the smear if it will interfere or not when you go let them know you have started TTC. I would definitely start DTD if you have EWCM that's the most fertile and you don't want to miss out this month so next couple days I would get to it 😊 I run 3 different apps and the always are a day apart from each other. But I always know when I'm about to start ovulating because I get the EWCM and the cramps. My EECM last about 3/4 days. Make sure you always enter data into the apps it give it better predictions for you so enter today that you have ovary pain and EWCM and you app might update which app you using?? I use flo, Ovia and fermometer. ( I only started fermometer this month with IC OPKs )

@Tiff94 yes I have had some maybe your right I suppose I just trusted the app as it is only my first month TTC. I am due to have a smear this week and didn't know if that would interfere with TTC? Do you have any experience of this?

@BabyH88 I would say maybe you are closer to ovulation if pains are there I get them started the day before ovulation. Have you got any EWCM? If so I would get to DTD I case your ovulating earlier then what your apps say, xx

@Tiff94 ok thank you, well according to my app I my ovulation window at tarts today with me ovulating on the 18th. I really find a lot of this so confusing.

@BabyH88 if you are close to ovulation then it's probably ovulation pain I get this almost every month changes from right side to left it's normal you probably had before but only noticing know maybe.

@lastbany we due about the same day for AF then I'm 10/11day off on my apps

@BabyH88 I keep feeling twinges and pulling on my left side same area no clue what it is. Have google but apparently 4DPO is too early for implantation

@Tiff94 I'm due af in 11 days! Last time I took a early detection test and had light line at 5 days to period! Do thinking in a week I can test x

How is everyone doing so far ? Anyone else started their TWW I'm now 4DPO have been feeling rather nauseous when I get up in the morning. I know it's still too early for symptoms. I think I maybe begin testing on the 20th with IC AF expected by 24th where is everyone else in there cycles ?

@lastbany once you change it it will definitely give you better predictions on ovulation hopefully you don't need to after this month baby dust to everyone 🧚‍♀️

Hi hope you dont mind me joining in. Cycle 7 for me.

It's ovulation day for me. Had my surge last night and ovulation pains.

Im also doing SMEP and started seed cycling a few days ago.

Hoping this is my cycle. Sending baby dust

@lastbany I just had a though have you got flo app set to try to conceive I know when I had it at avoid pregnancy before we Started TTC it would show more fertile days so you can tell when not o do it haha maybe check your settings to make sure and id get Second or third app just to cross reference them together better way to pin point ovulation. ☺️

@lastbany I've still got cramping this morning and EWCM so will DTD again today and then I'm sure I'm with u in the TWW

@mylittlebean2019 I'm following SEMP this month also for the first time to try see if it works but I never got my LH surge but definitely know I'm I'm ovulating stage at the present. So fingers crossed it's works this month for us all and we see BFP in about 2/3weeks

Hello ladies 👋🏼 I am on cycle 3 of TTC baby #2. I used the CB OPK last month. This month I am also using some cheap OPK strips to also test in between, temping, following SMEP, and using pretty much every app going 😂

Really interesting they all predict different dates for my fertile week and expected ovulation. Got my first flashing smile on the CB this morning so expecting to ovulate hopefully Monday - Wednesday?

Is anyone else measuring their BBT? My readings seem to be all over the place!

@lastbany yes similar to period cramps just not as bad I get this almost every month at ovulation only some women feel it so if your having that then definitely ovulation time for you too we ovulation day buddies 😂 umm I'm not sure why flo is showing extra days for the previous month I use flo as well I would stay maybe they didn't know you ovulation date last month as you only have the 5/7blue days 5 before ovulation and two after predicted day for the egg to travel. Thats how I would understand it

@Tiff94 I have had period cramps today is this what you get? You would never think this is my 4th babay!! I'm useless! I have attached a photo of last and this month! Do you know why blue days are so much less?

@lastbany my apps say I'm ovulating today now they changed all 3 to say today. I'd had EWCM and cramps all day so definitely know I'm starting to ovulating we DTD sat/sun tue today and will probably do again tomorrow/sat just for luck. Finger crossed this month it works

@ElzP my last test has been really faint today I can see a line but can't get it to scan sometimes try rescanning and better light.

Hi all so on my app (flo) it said today is ovulation day and it shows 7 possible days for preg but last month showed ten days I will attach photo to show , the hearts are when we dtd even though last month is first month trying and due to work etc we didn't do too well I've been off pull 3 months (have a 7 month old)

Wondering if I can join, I am not up to scratch with the lingo so will be doing lots of googling for that, this is our first month of TTC our first baby, after making the decision to postpone our wedding.

I am using the app clue but we are going to try and DTD every other day.

It says I am due to ovulate 18/7/2020
I have a 30.5 day cycle
AF is due 01/08/2020

Other than this I have no clue what I am doing so hoping for some advice and positive results for everyone x
