Ovulation buddies starting July 8-14

Hey everyone,

Anyone else just started ovulation or about to start in the next week. Let's start a chat and keep ourselves busy as we head through ovulation and the dreaded 2WW.

Little about me this is my 2 cycle at TTC Baby no.1 I'm about to start ovulation on fri or sat, so going to make the most of this week. I've ordered some IC ovulation sticks hopefully will arrive in next couple days and I will give them a try out. What is everyone else doing to prepare themselves for ovulation???

@Tiff94 I just feel so so bloated! However I feel like a don't feel pregnant haha but from my experience I usually feel like my periods coming but then a just never start bleeding x

@Gab101 I'm 8dpo today but not testing til at least Sunday. As I've read most women will implant at 9dpo so by sun /mon probably better on the test. But good luck what day is that you will test them tomorrow or Sunday?

@Gab101 I love your thinking 🤔 I said last month I'd test a couple days then wait to AF ended up testing everyday haha until AF arrived. I'm 7/8Days off AF I think you myself, @Rjbp20 and @lastbany we all start almost same day or next.

Pains have subsided for me today. Hoping it's not my body getting ready for AF. I hate the pregnancy symptoms and PMS are the same. So confusing. BFP are around the corner now for us girls 😍💜😍💜

Well you go girl because I do not have that much patience in me. I will probably test at 8DPO (due to watching fat to many videos of everyone getting their positives then) and if nothing shows I'd like to believe I won't test again until AF... I haven't got much symptoms just got a good feeling for us all 💕🤞🏽

@Gab101 ooo so close. I think I’m going to wait and see if AF comes along first and then test if not. What’s your plan?

I'm due in 9 days! We are very close 🤞🏽 when are you going to start testing? I have two cysts on my right ovary and they are pretty large so I can't tell if my cysts are my cramping which happens from time to time or if it's implantation, it's driving me mad!! Can't wait for all of our BFP! ♥️

@Tiff94 I’ve got lower abdominal pains / pulling sensation but I feel like it could just be pre period 😫 due in 8 days so we’ll see xx

@Tiff94 I did have some weird stabbing pains in my lower tummy last night and I feel really tired today, can barely keep my eyes open. But I'm only 6DPO so trying not to read into it too much!

@Tiff94 yeah I had that twinging lower abdomen pulling yesterday badly. Today its very mild but I am not symptoms spotting because I had all these symptoms last month too and my AF arrived 2 days earlier 🤣🤣

@lastbany yes this will be my first. I think that's why I'm probably so obsessive over it haha 😂 I feel like I've been ready to be a mum for quite sometime but DH hadn't got there yet 😂 fingers crossed this whole group will become conception sisters this month 🤞 hopefully this next pregnancy will be nice and easy for you. My sister had bad pregnancy with both her girls but a smooth with her son.

@Tiff94 let's hope conception sisters too!!! Is it your first did you say? This is my 4th and will be last as will be my 4th section last one only 7months ago! I'm eager to get preg due to a few reasons work been one! But I have awful births have everyone also pregnancies so I'm excited but scared too x

@lastbany I will use that same just a couple cheap ones until day of AF if she doesn't arrive then I will use the FRER I just ordered.

@lastbany that's exactly right. Myself and DH said we would just see what happens to. Here I am so obsessed over it now haha. I try not to put pressure on him, he gets enough stress from work, haha that's why I'm on here talking with all you... 🙊

@Tiff94 no I haven't as because our baby little we sort of just thought when it happens it happens then of course you become obsessed!! Well I'll just wait and see we have pretty much dtd every other day all month so can't do much more than tht lol

@lastbany I'm holding off til testing until Monday might do one Sunday morning. I'm 7Dpo today I started having mild cramps last night before bed and throughout the night it was like a slight discomfort in my lower abdomen region. Have you got any opks I've read that you can ovulate a second time If the first didn't work your body will signal a second ovulation. Maybe try testing if you have any opks. I'm not sure what it could be I only ever get EWCM at ovulation time I've got a thick creamy CM atm myself. It does make it very confusing. I find a lot of things about TTC confusing I never would have thought.

@Tiff94 when are you thinking of testing? I apparently ovulated 6 days ago according to flow and it's correct with period etc however I had more ewcm yesterday and day before! So was really confused also had cramps and sickness so now I'm so confused! Due period in 8 days! If you ovulate twice in a cycle does it usually happen at the same time? Like two eggs jaha god confused

@Jemmy94 yes maybe you are. If you are getting symptoms I agree with tiff94 that you should test again and see if it gets lighter or darker to see if you are leading up to it or not

@Alice222 Thats do helpful! (I don't know how to attach pictures) my lines are definitely not darker than the control line but then maybe I'm heading towards ovulation? I have a few symptoms 🙈 so confusing! My first two today look like your 17:40 one from 5th of July xx

@Jemmy94 this is what mine looked like. I started manually marking anything below 20% as low as I only really got highs. I also missed a day then luckily caught the surge on the 9th!

@Jemmy94 hey! I did OPKs for the first time this month and did find it a bit confusing. It's only positive if the test line is darker than the control line, it's not unusual to always have faint lines. I found I consistently got between 10-15% on the app for 9 days before ovulation so I think that might just be my norm level. Though it was very clear when I had a positive as it was really dark and app said 200%. Then according to BBT I ovulated the day after so it did work for me.
