Hey everyone,

Anyone else just started ovulation or about to start in the next week. Let's start a chat and keep ourselves busy as we head through ovulation and the dreaded 2WW.

Little about me this is my 2 cycle at TTC Baby no.1 I'm about to start ovulation on fri or sat, so going to make the most of this week. I've ordered some IC ovulation sticks hopefully will arrive in next couple days and I will give them a try out. What is everyone else doing to prepare themselves for ovulation???

@Tiff94 I'm 36! I had my kids when 19:24 and then my last two days befor my 36 on dec xx

I’m older too. I’m 38 now, had DD who is 16 when I was 21 and DS who is 17 months when I was nearly 37.

@Gab101 I will see then I have another FRER I might use at same time as CB just to see. So happy for the BFPs in the group I'm sure there are many more to come.

@lastbany don't count yourself out until AF arrives. How old are you do you mind me asking ? I've known women to have baby's when older my mum had my younger a brother in her 40s so if this isn't your month maybe next is. This always happen when they happen we can't force it even though we want to. Wishing you all the best can't wait to hear your BFP

@Tiff94 so I walked baby past chemist they didn't have frear tests but had some cheap (£3 for two) early detection tests which said from 10dpo and it's a BFN so I think I'm out!! Feel deflated as this is second month only using app but before I have been so fertile even falling preg on the coil!! So is it because I'm older now?! I dunno but feel really shit tbh as I know for my mat leave etc and leaving my baby it's not gonna work out well! 😭😭 for me but 😍🥰 for all your BFP

@tiff94 I took a CB digital this morning and it said not pregnant but I think that's because it's far too early for me as I'm only 11DPO

@tiff94 I see the line 🥰 omg so happy for you!!!! This is the best group ever. Even if someone gets a BFN (which I have a feeling won't happen) we can all keep supporting each other!!! Sending all the good vibes.

I actually feel less symptomatic than I have the previous week or two! I went and got a blood test today, just to be extra sure! Will find out tomorrow and let you all know. ♥️

I have no symptoms at all which I should have if AF is 2days away. I just ordered a CB digital from amazon will arrive tonight so will test tomorrow with that. Probably try a couple cheapies later and see if it shows on them. Just checking my apps And one says I'm 11pdo the other 13dpo so not sure which is actually got by as I never confirmed ovulation with opk this month just knew when it was happening. So could be a day out or so maybe that's why line so faint. Positives vibes for everyone still waiting to test. Baby dust all over

I don't know why but I feel less symptoms so am feeling less positive but still trying to remain.

I managed to get a blood test booked at my local pharmacy it's booked for 10am! Feel like this will be more accurate because they don't sell FRER here which s annoying (I'm in South America)!

Will post my results! Currently 11 or 12 DPO

Loving all the positive vibes here! Already 2 BFPs and looks like there will be more!

AF is due in 2 days for me and I've been cramping quite a bit. Think I'm probably out but not giving up hope until AF arrives!!

@Tiff94 yep think gonna walk to chemist!! It's so annoying caus half of me is like why can't you wait to see if AF comes Friday?! Rather than waste money I'm also scared of disappointment 😭😭 to those having cramps with all my pregnancy's I had cramps like o was coming on but I just never bled! Atm my boobs are so sensitive I feel so bloated and even feel sick! But dunno if my body is tricking me

@Tiff94 No never happened before. Usually cramps mean AF has already arrived. I'm out of tests now so might have to pick up some more. Though I might wait until AF is due now, which is Friday if I can wait. Fed up of seeing BFNs now.

@BabyH88 I don't drink often anyway so my friends are used to me not drinking. But I can think of a few excuses like you're driving, on antibiotics or already hungover. But I guess if you keep using excuses people might get suspicious eventually.

@lastbany maybe time for a FRER then all my cheapies was BFN I've heard though some cheapie don't show until your almost 5/6weeks so it could be that.

Thanks girls literally it's such a faint line barely can see in the photo but definitely can see better on it. I'm 13dpo today so have another FRER here so might test again either later or tomorrow.

So it turns out I'm not out. It's been really weird. I had awful cramps and backache yesterday, had a look and had some spotting so was convinced AF had arrived. Had cramps all night but woke up this morning and my temp has gone up slightly, cramps gone and no more spotting.

@Gab101 thank you so much for your response it's nice to hear what experiences other people have had. Since we postponed our wedding it's all we get asked and I just want it to be a surprise if we are lucky enough to conceive.

So woke up and tested with a FarER and there is the slightest line there they daily a line is a line so I'm holding on to this Hope hope the line gets darker and isn't evap it indent. I so want this to be real

Good question! I've struggled quite a bit during social situations and quite a few people have joked about me being pregnant due to not drinking which until now hasn't been true. Could you say your having a detox? Maybe take your own drinks but they are 0% alcohol? It is easy to notice though if they are non alcoholic if anyone pays attention. Good luck!

How does everyone get around the subject of alcohol? we are not wanting to tell family and friends we are trying but are both very sociable people and generally like to have a few glasses here and there but I feel it will be very obvious if I am not drinking. Any experience of this or advice on how to navigate away from the obvious conversations.
