Hey everyone,

Anyone else just started ovulation or about to start in the next week. Let's start a chat and keep ourselves busy as we head through ovulation and the dreaded 2WW.

Little about me this is my 2 cycle at TTC Baby no.1 I'm about to start ovulation on fri or sat, so going to make the most of this week. I've ordered some IC ovulation sticks hopefully will arrive in next couple days and I will give them a try out. What is everyone else doing to prepare themselves for ovulation???

@beckyBP I never saw a faint line before in the CB but my line came out real faint with fmu and darker with afternoon.

Morning ladies,

I took a CB test this morning as still no AF (Not common for me to be late) and I THINK I saw a super faint line.

Has anyone ever checked if you can see a super faint line prior to testing and I wondering if it's just the outline of the line ready does that make sense?

This is my first ever test!

@Tiff94 ye contact them straight away if any problems but sort form tht only thing I can say is try forget haha ye right! I know I'm never only when I was on pill etc period was all over but last 3 months back regular only goos thing for me is I have a baby to take my mind of it! So I'm not as obsessed as o was before I'll keep you posted x

@lastbany ah so that's what I'm in for then. Thanks for the heads up. I guess it is hard with covid. I don't go many places for this reason. When I spoke with maternity unit they said to me if I have any bleeding or bad pains early to contact them otherwise they can't do anything. I know what you mean about holding on I've barely been able to last feed days when testing I feel like I'm about to burst. I really hope AF isn't playing tricks that was me last month and it really got to me I was two days late and I'm never late. Im praying you get positive today xx

@Tiff94 it's really annoying isn't it! My baby not been seen since a month old! Can't get her weighed or anything I've weaned her alone everything I know I have other kids b they 17/12 so it's like been a first time mum! You feel very left! My sil has a baby 8 weeks ago so it's even worse for her had baby weighed after a week and Thts it she's bf so it's worrying but baby thriving so sure all is ok but you feel very left out in cold! I'm a nurse at a and e hospital my mat leave ends jan and I'm very worried to return esp if preg! So no AF still it's so wierd!! Just about to get dressed and have a walk to shop just finished baby bfast! Just hope can hold wee a bit caus a can't stop going but am sure it should show up now!! If it's neg it just must be AF playing nasty tricks

@lastbany thanks I will do that. Just got off the phone with my mum in Australia after telling her she's so excited but couldn't believe I wouldn't be seen by anyone for so long. I guess it a waiting game now. How are you feeling today any sign of AF? When you going to test ?

@Tiff94 ah of course covid related I supose! I would just mention you would like baseline bp and bloods done! As they have nothing to work on further down pregnancy if you bp is raising!

@lastbany I spoke with a midwife on the phone and she's told me my booking app will be done over the phone but I won't see anyone til my first scan. I've messaged my gp asking if I can have bloods done before so just have to wait and see there reply

@Tiff94 @Gab101 ye you won't be seen I think it's because preg test don't show pregnant or not false neg yes but not Fallse positive, your midwofe will contact you for booking app I had mine at 7 weeks they do everything bloods urone bp etc and fill it your booklet it takes about 2 hours on total at your house they then book your scan and give you all numbers
I know it sounds harsh but basically before the time there's not much they can do you just have to grin and bare lol if you have serious sickness etc you can contact GP for appointments but apart from tht you'll never see g p till baby 8 weeks!

Hello! I’m looking for a bit of rant/ wisdom around ovulation! I started tracking ovulation after my Last period. I’m on day 8 of tracking it and am on day 17 of my cycle according to Ovia, but not had a positive LH test yet! I’m pretty annoyed! I know that the first month tracking it is nothing really but I guess I was stupidly expecting to ovulate normally etc. Has anyone else had a positive test after day 17 of their cycle? My periods are so heavy and the pain is utterly vile, so I’ve been ranting to my friend that if I’ve endured horrific periods for years and then don’t ovulate, I may as well give up now! Haha. I am 40, tried briefly for a baby 4 years ago but life has got in the way, a house move, a spell of depression, problems at work, then my dad dying, just loads of stupid things that made it the last thing on my mind really. I’ve always wanted kids and assumed I’d have them so feel like a bit of a twat at this point. Anyway, hopefully it’s not too late and some of you will have experienced these kind of feelings as well! I think it’s always lovely to start everyday pissing in a cup and testing your wee - yay!

@Gab101 I've spoke to my gp, midwife and the maternity unit and I've been told no one will see me until at least 10weeks so I feel so in limbo. I'd like to confirm but nope. Kinda wish I was in Aussie right now I know the docs there see you straight away

@Tiff94 I can go in and request a blood test can you not do that at home? Maybe I'll get through some stuff here that I wouldn't normally before I get home... so you have to wait all that time?!

@Gab101 least you get bloods done I've found out they don't even do bloods here in the uk until your almost 10 weeks. My first app with anyone isn't until end of sept. I literally thought I'd been seen by someone this week. To confirm the hcg level but nope.

@lastbany grab a pink dye test I found they worked better then the Blue dye it was very faint the two I did.

@Tiff94 thanks ♥️ I have a blood test on Monday to check my levels have gone up since they were so low and it would be great peace of mind but to I really wanna wait two days of feeling anxious for the results even though I know I am .... but if something's wrong I'll regret not going! Ahhh

Well AF not arrived today and cramps have stopped! I feel really shit thou! Bad headache and just sick! Felt red hot all day and also sweaty (which I never am) so I'm wondering if coming down we something and Maye this why I'm late 💁🏼‍♀️🤷‍♀️
