Hello @AC2020, thank you for letting me know. I will be able to call them and get booked in finally 😊 . We were due to move house before this too so that’s all been on hold too so we are just in between houses atm but hoping to be moved in by mid August. Which has all added to the stress 🤯

Hi @Baba458 really sorry to hear about your struggles. I think private clinics are back up and running as we were booked in before covid but they cancelled when lockdown happened. We found out we were pregnant the day before they rang but didn't tell them. Then they phoned a couple of weeks ago to say we could make another app if we wanted

@Northernsoul90 I was desperate to see a negative result after my mc. It was torture waiting for it to end and allow us to move on. I got mine 2 weeks & 2 days after my medical management. Fingers crossed you get yours soon xx

Hi everyone,
I’ve been following your stories for a month or so now but I’ve been too nervous to post anything. We’ve been trying to get pregnant for around 2 years, I had a chemical last May but no luck since although we’ve only been actively trying by tracking etc since this January with no luck so far. I’m 40 and my partner is 39 so I’m really starting to think we’ve missed out chance. The doctors haven’t been very helpful because I already have children (14 and 12) but my partner doesn’t so we were really hoping this would happen. Because I’ve already had children I thought it would be really easy but I’ve learnt that’s definitely not the case. I’m starting to lose all hope ☹️. We were going to go for some private checks etc but because of covid that was all put on hold but I’m hoping now things are opening up we can get booked in soon. Every month I think is our month as I get all these symptoms and then nothing! It’s so upsetting.
We’ve kept this all to ourselves so I’ve found comfort in your chats so thank you for that.
Also congratulations to all the BFP’s this month (I’m not very good with the lingo yet, but I’m a fast learner lol) it’s such an exciting time but so nerve wracking too. My fingers and toes are crossed for you all.

Thank you as always @SmileyT. I’m hoping they scan but am fully prepared to not see anything. I think it almost helps how early it is as if it was next week I’d have more expectations. And not a bad thing if they want me back.
It’s a ridiculous show isn’t it 😂😂 I mean, why would people do it? Yet here I am, gripped!

@VP91x I’ve been assembling flat pack furniture from IKEA all afternoon. Had it delivered though as didn’t fancy going to that place but cost £29!! And I’ve been waiting 7 weeks delivery. Setting up a play room for the little man. It’s keeping me busy! What table did you get? How you doing??

@MichT4 yeah I'm only 24hrs in so give me time I'm sure over, the hopefully 9months there will be many hurdles and many freak outs 🤪 do whatever you are comfortable with, they'll do their own test anyway so I wouldn't worry. Just go into tomorrow knowing that if they can't see if the pregnancy is viable (no HB) they may tell you to go back in a week and that isn't bad news just really early. And just push for blood tests because if hcg is increasing that's what you want to know. Also I love married at first sight 😂

@VP91x I've changed half of the 9 that's progress for me in 24hrs 😂

@Rebecca1992 yep I totally feel you on the anxiety post MC that's why it's so nice to speak to you ladies as you all really understand. I think Sunday will give you a clear answer if you've already had symptoms aswell 🤞

Hi @Cels22 have you taken the 7 tests over different days, if they are the same brand are they actually getting lighter or staying the same? If they aren't getting lighter I would try not to worry you may be much earlier than you think xx

@Northernsoul90 love how proactive and positive you are being 👊 really hope you get that negative on Saturday so you can start a fresh x

@Bellabubble I know you don't want to get ahead of yourself but extreme tiredness and heightened sense of smell (I'm cheering you on from my sofa right now) xx

@sunflower1988 Don't worry at all for feeling like venting - we all need to do it from time to time and this is the right place. TTC is so frustrating at times and I totally understand you saying if af is going to come you just want it over with. The waiting is awful. At 13 dpo you still aren't out yet this month, maybe wait another few days and retest if you can hold out? xxx

@MichT4 @Northernsoul90 Thank you both. I'll ring the GP on Monday and go from there. The digital said 2-3 weeks a few days ago so I assume I would be roughly 5 weeks? Only time will tell. I'm glad I've found this thread as I've been searching high and low for advice or support from anyone who's been/going through something similar 💛

@Bellabubble thank you so much. I plan to relax tonight. OH is working until later so I’m watching the utter trash that is Married at first sight, which I just find unbelievable 😂😂

Hello @Cels22 congrats on your bfp! Yes try not to worry too much about line progression, I know it's really hard to do but all it does is cause stress and it's not really an indicator of a healthy pregnancy (as much as we want it to be). Try to relax and not panic as best you can and as @MichT4 said I would contact GP to get the ball rolling 😊 xx

@SmileyT sorry - I am sooo slow to reply lol! No idea why I am so tired, but I feel pretty bjnged up in the head so I’m probably fighting iff germs the chikdren like to spread!! Only 6dpo so not getting ahead of myself - but I swear to god my body is the cruelest thing as my boobs hurt so much right now (which they have done every tww, but not as much!) and the smell of my colleagues baking today turned my stomach - normally it makes me hungry!

@MichT4 good luck for tomorrow - I hope the scan goes all good! I know it’s easier said than done but try to rest/relax this eve!!

@Jazper yeh me and oh are only 6yrs apart - so not too big really! It was on a thread where there were older ladies ttc that mentioned it - so don’t know how true it is!

I don’t know if you saw one of my many panics this morning, but the advice from the ladies told me not to worry about darkness of lines. I totally get it, but it might not mean a thing so getting stressed over it could be over nothing.
Call your GP and get the ball rolling. I would say stop testing and trust your body, but that’s very do as I say not as I do.
I think I’ve learnt to try hard to enjoy it, until you’re told otherwise you are pregnant - enjoy every moment.

@sunflower1988 do you have a picture of the Clearblue? Don’t worry about ranting here.
It is consuming and I know what you mean when you just want AF to arrive if it’s not to be.
I hope you get a definite answer soon

@MichT4 Thank you. I did start using ovulation tests on the 16th of June but I assume I conceived before that as theyve all been negative? I've taken 3 different types. The small strips you get from Amazon, a cheap one and a digital. The digital one said 2-3 weeks a few days ago. I stupidly couldn't wait 7 days because I'm so impatient so I took the 2nd digital a few days later and of course it said 2-3 weeks still. I'm just such a worrier! I'm going to ring the GP on Monday and go from there. Sending you loads of luck for tomorrow btw. Got my fingers crossed for you🤞

@VP91x thank you! I had a number of negative tests after my miscarriage. My first pregnancy test on the 1st of June was really faint.. I took a couple more a few days later but none seem that dark? I'm hoping I'm just testing too early? Can't help but worry since the last miscarriage. It's hard to get excited but also hard not to get ahead of myself!

Really just wanted to vent about my situation ( but advice is always welcome )
I'm cycle 3 of ttc after 2 MCs ( one 4.5 weeks, 1 8 weeks)
I'm 2 days late on my AF and at 13dpo but still getting negative tests ( did a frer this afternoon and not a hint of a line ) had a possible line on a clear blue but feel like it's an evap as it was super faint.
I'm so fed up and almost just want to get my AF so I can have a good cry and a glass ( bottle) of wine, and try again.
This waiting is torture and I'm so sick of it already every month feels like a new loss.
Hope everyone is feeling more positive than I am today! Hope we all get our rainbows soon x

@AC2020 I’m only 5 weeks. They might decide not to do it and just do blood tests but they said about a scan on the phone
