TTC after MC - July 2020 (Part 5)

@fafi , we were over the Yorkshire dales a few weeks ago at Aysgarth Falls. Have you been? It was so beautiful 😍
Welcome @sunflower1988 and any other newbies I've missed as we've been blowing the cobwebs away on the north east coast. It was surprisingly mild, we started off in coats and slowly stripped down to our t shirts by the time we got back to the car 😂 what with all our clothes, the kids wellies and a bag full of beach rocks they'd collected, me and OH were like two pack horses 🥵

@VP91x @Lollol86 wtf she is dead!? I didn't get that at all 😭😭😭 but now you say it, it kinda makes sense. I don't think I even thought of that as an option. If I was a kid and nobody told me I definitely wouldn't of got that 😂

@VP91x i definitely had a wine and then fell asleep for a couple hours 😴 he just got in and woke me up so unfortunately I had no tv time in reality. Thanks for always cheering me on 👏 also be careful with the dates list, I do it on another thread and honestly it becomes so stressful sometimes with everyone changing their testing date every morning 😂 but mine is the 12th now x

@Hayleylou89 yeah really do hope it's sorted by the time you go for later scans so you can have those special moments together especially after everything you've been through xx

@lollol86 I'm so jealous of your views! Cornwall and and Devon are my favourite places in the country.

Just been for a very steep, wet, windy walk up Great Whernside in the Yorkshire Dales! Was hairy at times but good to blow the cobwebs away.

I know it really sucks about partners and hospitals, my husband couldn't come into the hospital at all when I went to the EPU with MC and it was so surreal - all the seats laid out far apart, girls waiting in masks. I was sobbing to myself in-between my scan and speaking to the consultant and girls were trying to look at me with sympathy but it's actually just quite scary and dystopian when they're sat with masks ok 😷

AF is due 18 July for me though anything can happen with it being first cycle since MC. We are gonna DTD tonight and tomorrow though despite everything we said 🤞🏼

@VP91x great idea to put the dates on. AF due 17th July and this month I'm definitely not testing early (she says as she has 4FRERs hoarded at the back of the bathroom cabinet!)

Ttc #1 since February and had one CP and one MC (8 weeks) so its been a bit of a difficult journey so far...
Currently going slowly insane in 2ww of second cycle since mc, had wierd cramps and lots of creamy cm ( sorry for the tmi)
Currently 8dpo so trying to stop myself testing yet!

My Saturday is amazing, currently led looking out at some beautiful views in Devon. Definitely a much needed break.

I hate the fact that men can’t come to the scans. My hospital done even allow them in when you are miscarrying either.

@VP91x the ending of frozen 2, so I didn’t think too much into it until my dh pointed out to me she died 😭😭

@SmileyT yep no hes not been able to come the scans with me yet :( gutted but hope for the really important ones, things change and he can be there, so cruel tbem having to wait outside the hospital completely x

I'm on CD2 after AF showed up yesterday. 1st one after MC it's waaay heavier and more painful than normal, did anyone else have this?

Looking to go into this cycle super positive, I'm gonna start trying the juices I've seen recommended here, am I right in thinking you drink grapefruit until you ovulate then switch to pomegranate? Any other tips? I already take vitamins and folic acid.

@VP91x I have only been using the sensor for a couple of days. I am interested to see how it goes over the next few days. I have my fingers crossed that ovulation is happening!

Will you be adding dates to the list of names? Sometimes dates are shared as to when AF is due so we can all see when we are able to test 🤷🏻‍♀️

@chloedancer897 yay the tww! Sorry to hear he lost it. Men can really crumble under pressure. But then I’m like all they have to do it DTD we have to do all the tracking and stressful stuff lol but glad you have sorted it all now. I know isn’t it a horrible day today? I’m heading to helens bay soon near Bangor for a walk with the kids. Get some fresh air lol

@VP91x also forgot it say it sounds wise the go for the nhs appointment first but as you say at least you know how to go the private route if it is taking too long

Omg @chloedancer897 I did that the other day and watched someone’s fertility planner etc and was also watching others miscarriage videos. It’s just crazy how many of us are going through this crazy journey. Why do we do it to ourselves and watch them though? lol!

@Rb486 I am about a 45 minute drive from Manchester. The weather here is terrible all it’s done is rain for about a week! ☔️☔️

@2020wish yes I think that’s what I’m going to do just keep dtd when we feel like and trying to not overthink too much x

@VP91x @SmileyT thank you, I need to remember to do it as soon as I wake up I just need to get into a routine with it x

@VP91x what does the soy iso do? I think when af arrives I’m going to stock up on some Pom juice and different things to get prepared for the cycle. I just take vitamin d and then separate folic acid with b12 at the minute. I found both the pregnacare and seven seas multi vits gave me headaches so have avoided so far x

Aw happy to have shared and hope it can help those of have their BFP and those of us when we do get them! Where’s everyone from? I’m from Kent and it’s so miserable here today. The trip to Devon sounds lovely, enjoy 😊 Xx

@2020wish so good to hear from you. I'm D1PO so officially starting the dreaded TWW. I was very calm this cycle but it was OH who totally lost it the other day. But we are both a bit better now. Although I spent the afternoon watching pregnancy announcement videos on YouTube and now I'm a hormonal mess!

@MichT4 so glad you told your sister. It all starts to feel real when you announce it. Enjoy it xo
