TTC after MC - July 2020 (Part 5)

Morning ladies, I feel quite deflated this morning 🙁 I'm 8 dpo and did an IC test and it was negative. I'm just so sad thinking I should have had a big bump by now and instead I'm going through this pain 🙁 @elliew818 I completely relate to everything you are saying. The only reason I never tested yesterday at 7 dpo like you is because I never had a concentrated enough Pee. Speaking of which the one I tested with wasn't that concentrated as I was up 4 times to pee during the night, so maybe was an hour and a half homd sort of thing but still thought it should show if I was truly pg 🙁

@VP91x af is due for on the 11th. I had decided to not test till the 9th but as expected I like to torture myself and start testing early and have an even longer heart break 😒

@Girlmum83 oh wow !!!! What a story!!! I'm so excited for you-I can only imagine what a roller coaster this has been for you but what a blessing! Now that you look back would you say you had any pregnancy symptoms at all that you maybe thought were something else at the time? X

@VP91x @SmileyT I've looked at the plot on wiki and it doesn't say she died, I was mortified when I read that but I don't think she is (hoping) although DP says she is lol xx

@VP91x thanks I'm either 9 or 11 I'm thinking more 9, I am starting to feel sick and my heart rate has jumped up from a normal 63 to 73, the highest it's ever been is 69 I'm waiting till tomorrow FRER before I feel confident enough to believe it xx

@vp91x AF due on July 21. I will try to hold off testing as long as I can. Thanks for making a list.
@Wishingfornumber2 I'm glad that you have started the cycle after negatives. And can get ready for ttc ;) There are many factors that sometimes can lengthen the cycle. And even with regular cycles( at least before MC) there will be some differences. My cycles were just weird after MCs( so I can't comment on that except that midwife told me that my cycles may return to normal within 6 months or never be the same). And before that I have noticed that If I have travelled somewhere, my cycle could be longer by 4 days. Do you know when did you ovulate ?

@VP91x yeah I actually got OH to watch it aswell and he was like 'she definitely isn't dead' so I'm sticking with that for now. 😂 feeling good this morning, standardly no signs of PMS or anything else and I haven't manually marked anything on apps so they are saying I'm somewhere between 8 and 11dpo just based on info I've input and predicting AF between Wednesday and Sunday but I still think it will be Friday. What have you got planned today? You had any early fertile week signs yet with the iso? x

Morning ladies, had the urge to POAS but used an internet cheapy thinking nothing would show as it's not a sensitive one it's 20mg and you can see a very faint line and it came up straight away so fingers crossed for the FRER tomorrow

@2020wish I only ever tested the once after the d&c to ensure that there were no more pregnancy hormones or retained products floating around . Even then I would never have tested if it wasn’t for one of the lovely ladies on mumsnet mentioning doing so herself as was never advised by any medical professionals at the time that I should do so . I’ve never been an early tester only ever poas after I was confident that af was late and getting a clear bfp Straight away so I never felt the urge to test after that negative as was so convinced that I had a lighter period at the end of May Which they said would likely happen after the d&c and then another heavier flow at the end of June spot on when my period would arrived in any typical cycle for me 😬 of course I now know that it must have been some kind of implantation bleed and then later the hematoma rather than a period so they’ve had to date me from when I most likely conceived this time rather than my last period as seems I’ve never had one post mc ( which thankfully matched up with what they are Currently measuring ) but I honestly had no clue 🙈 I used to read stories of ladies who Said they only found out they were pregnant weeks Or months in as they’d had “ periods “ during their pregnancy Or not noticed they had missed one and think really ? how is that really even possible to be pregnant and not know ?! how silly I feel to have ever thought that now 🙈 however I’ve also never experienced a loss before or had to physically recover from one so any little symptoms that I have had this time like headaches and sore boobs I just assumed were due to my body settling down again and Cycles getting back into a rythm as they Also mirror my usual period symptoms and the bleeding end of June was quite a heavy flow So in my mind I hadn’t “ missed “ a period so gave it no more thought . Morning or all day Sickness for me has only ever really kicked in around 9/10 weeks in the past so I still ( hopefully 🙏) have that joy to come . The First and likey the only time in my life I am ever going to say that I’m looking forward to that 😁 I mean I’m suddenly feeling very sick all day today And currently can’t sleep for thinking I’m going to throw up but that could Very well be a mixture of nerves and a late night take away ! I’m usually such a positive thinking , good things come to those who wait , glass half full and every cloud has a silver lining kind of girl so I’m going to try really hard to suppress the fear , enjoy in the current moment and celebrate every successful Blessed day of carrying these baby’s . As with every one of you wonderfully strong ladies the fear is of course naturally there that things could go so wrong again In the future and history could repeat itself but I’ve Also been repeating to myself all day In between the crying and panicking that the odds are forever in our favour for a successful pregnancy 🙏 I’ve done this before and if the worst happens I also know I will be strong enough to survive the heartache .we may not know when and it may not be straight away but we will all get to hold our precious rainbow baby/ baby’s One day Soon of that I am sure 💕😊

Thanks for new thread @VP91x. So after getting another negative test yesterday I felt quite low. However AF has arrived today CD42! I’m relieved in a way as at least I now know for certain. So weird though as I have been so regular recently, 31/32 day cycles but last cycle was 28 days and now this 42 day one. Just don’t know what is going on. Can only put it down to stress of TTC.

@VP91x I watched brave earlier and just put frozen 2 back on 🤣 I needed to watch it with fresh eyes. And yes definitely get one date and keep it there, also a fan of only putting a date on after ovulation otherwise it's a bit of a guess 🤔 hoping your ovulation comes up soon x

I'll be testing (again 😳) probably 11th 🤞
