TTC after MC - July 2020 (Part 5)

Hey @Eli2020 fingers crossed for us both! It's my first cycle of ttc after mc which started 1st May and ended on the 23rd May with negative pregnancy test. Still got a bit of brown discharge and I'm so tired these past couple of days. I just feel like I'm on a tightrope between excitement and fear - so looking forward to being pregnant, having a baby and starting our family but terrified of potentially go through that hell again. I don't know if I'm strong enough

@AC2020 hi cycle buddy ☺️ af also due on the 11th for me. Which cycle is this for you? Keeping my fingers crossed for both of us we both will be announcing bfps this month☺️ I hope you are better behaved than me as I took a test today and was bfn and had a little heart break 😒

@MichT4 im sorry to hear you are dealing with this at the moment. This could be totally normal as the Bub is just getting snuggled in nicely. I'm sending lots of positive energy your way x

@MichT4 I have a close friend who bled through the whole of her pregnancy like this and now has a very lively and healthy 3 year old! Our bodies are weird. Stay positive, sending love ❤️

I also agree the 'pregnancy comments' are insensitive most of the time. I started to shield when I found out I was pregnant as I'm a teacher and when I went back to work after the mc a handful of people said 'oh thought you were pregnant when you stopped coming in' now surely they realise if I was still pregnant I wouldn't have come back to work so obviously somethings happened. People don't mean any harm but they don't realise those comments are like a knife to the heart when trying to recover from a miscarriage.
Also breaks from social media were much needed during my mc. I couldn't cope with people announcing pregnancies everyday whilst I was silently loosing my baby. It gets better though, I no longer feel sad/angry/ jealous. I just think to myself that one day that will be me 🌈❤️

Heading out for a walk because all I've done the last two days is watch YouTube videos of people doing pregnancy tests and I'm driving myself nuts! So I need to get out lol

@MichT4 please try not to worry. A certain amount of bleeding can be normal. Do you have anything nice planned today or just a nice relaxing day at home? ❤️

@SmileyT I think he’s struggling a bit. After what he said last night I’m trying to not scare him. He just said it love you, my pregnant lady’ and that set me off good and proper.
He’s looking after me though. I just hope so much that this is just an unfortunate blip and everything is ok in there 🤞🏼 Xx

@Wishingfornumber2 yeah when I told a girl at work about my MC she told me she had been trying for number 2 for 2 years and when she announced she was pregnant a few weeks ago although I did, very selfishly, wish it was me, I didn't have that normal feeling of 'why is it so easy for everybody else'. I was very guilty of asking the question of friends before, always meant in a positive way, but I'm so much more aware now xx

So as is always the case for me in the final week before AF I'm looking forward to my next cycle and wondering who was it that said about hcg injections for OHs? I was wondering where you get them and how much they should take? X

@MichT4 how is OH dealing with things? Hope you are getting loads of cuddles today xx

@VP91x Thanks for the new thread. Currently CD17 today.....AF due 17th (1st cycle since MC so insure really)
I will try hold off for testing but easier said than done. So maybe I will test on the 13th/14th. Feeling strangely positive about this month, getting a clear peak OPK and DTD literally everyday since CD1 🙈😪 I'm wrecked....surly all that sex has to lead somewhere!!

Thank you @HopeForRainbowbaby, it’s nice to hear some hope.
It’s stopped red now, just brown sometimes. But then sometimes AF starts a bit like that.
There’s nothing I can do except stay hopeful and positive, so that’s the plan. Otherwise I’ll analyse everything and it’ll just cause so much stress.

Glad to hear you’ve had a more relaxed cycle. Makes all the difference to your outlook on things. Wishing you luck for this month xx

@wishingfornumber2 definitely I was so suprised with just how many people I knew had gone through the same.

For this misscarriage I started watching youtube videos on misscarriage after my rough time in the hospital and was so suprised at all that we go through.

We just have to be so resilient and put on a brave face but it's so great to be able to come on here and talk to each other through our highs and lows and celebrate with each other in our successes.

You are all remarkable women and I wish you all the best on this journey x

@MichT4 I just want to give you some words of encouragement. With my first Mc at 9 weeks, I have started to bleed with medium abdominal pain a day before my first appointment. And at my first check up I heard it is 50/50 chances now. So not all bleeding means something is wrong. It is worse if it is bleeding accompanying with pain and even then it is still 50/50. I wish for you that the bleeding stops already and that you continue to enjoy your pregnancy dear 😘

@Wishingfornumber2 I'm more relaxed which is very positive but still tracking. So I have been seeing rising lcg past days and got positive cheapy and smiley today ☺️ i am 11CD so I assume I will ovulate tomorrow, earlier than in pre Mc cycles (13-14). But I'm glad it is already happening. Now I will need to hold myself not to test too early. What is ur plan for this cycle ?

Thanks @Emsnewmum & @SmileyT I think I will do that in the future, be honest straight away about my MC as then at least people know and can stop asking or share their experiences too. There was a women at work who used to mention a lot about me having another baby then one day she told me her daughter had had a MC and so I told her about mine. She gave me a hug and hasn’t mentioned babies anymore. It is surprising how many people have gone through a MC. I have seen on fb some people I know mention about MC and I didn’t know they had been through one. X

I’m not panicking yet, I’m hoping it’s just one of those things that passes. I’m trying to pretend it didn’t really happen and just carry on as normal in my mind.
