TTC after MC - July 2020 (Part 5)

Hi everyone. Hope you don't mind me hopping on board. MC at 7.6 weeks last week - luckily complication free and scan showed no obvious issues internally. We are pretty keen to TTC again, but have been advised to wait for negative test and for first AF to come and go. Fingers crossed for success soon!

@SmileyT yeah you’re right, I didn’t expect this to be a stress free ride. Just hope the spotting stays away now as that’ll help my mindset.
But anyway, it’s positivity only here unless I’m told otherwise, so I’ll look forward to getting the next test out of the way.

When would you girls suggest doing the next one?

@elliew818 I worked in New Look and loved it, used to get 75% off including sale stuff so I'd go in and grab all my stuff before my shift, literally lived in New look stuff 😂 and so funny we all used to go out in Romford (think it was time and envy when I went if I remember correctly) probably stumbled into eachother with our Smirnoff ices @VP91x OH actually ordered the tests and the 4pack couldn't get delivered tomorrow so got 2 packs of the 2packs, with that subscribe thing it was £13 so all good 👌🏾 also exciting to start being able to pee on multiple sticks come tomorrow x

Good work on the list @VP91x. 3rd day of light AF for me so will keep you updated with dates. If I get that far I will be testing start of August. Always feel like I am wishing the months away! X

@SmileyT I tested 7DPO on a total whim - at 5pm, diluted. It was lunacy! 🙄 well I only have cheapies so would definitely convince myself it was too early for it to pick up the HCG. Also I worked at lakeside during college too! And had a night out or 2 in Romford liquid 😳

@elliew818 yay do Wednesday with me 🙌🏾 if it's negative maybe we can always tell ourselves it's too early to be accurate 🤪 when did you test? x

@VP91x oh yeah totally forgot you were still using CB opk, when will you start them? I ordered some FRER if I'm going to test early I'll do it full on MN way - feel like they are the only things I haven't thrown into my amazon basket so why not try it 😂

@MichT4 think it's normal to be anxious I'm sure we all will be when we finally get our BFPs and at that stage you'll be telling us how you had a small bleed at the beginning but now everything is fine ☺️ x

I feel fine today, I’m just really worried every time I go to the loo that it’ll be worse again. And I’m worried to test again, as I know it hasn’t been loads yet, but still might not be ok in there. So basically, fine just a little anxious 😢 xx

@SmileyT the sickness is a very unpleasant good sign! I'd be testing straight away like a loon lol my DH reckons i should test on Wednesday again to bring me back down to earth before AF arrives!

@MichT4 yep all done and home and showered now, I took myself off early as compensation for my bad journey in 😂 I'm glad you've had a nap need to get all the rest you can. Feeling okay physically today? xx

@VP91x ooh that CM sounds positive I feel like mine goes like that before full on EWCM so hopefully you are getting towards fertile window, when are you starting DTD later this week? And as long as temps stay high I'll test Wednesday morning, I've only got CB do you recommend getting a FRER instead? xx

Yeah work was ok actually, fairly busy today. I just had a little nap on the sofa, just a quick one, not done that in a while. Lovely!

@VP91x yeah I had a feeling that they wouldn't be that different on the contrast, I've had different batches of opks from the same brand and the control line seems completely different, guess that's the good thing about using an app no having to use our brains to analyse 😂 well at least you get to both wean yourself off of full-time together xx

@MichT4 well i was speaking to my friend about testing early and she actually raised a good point that I don't know if the sperm has been meeting the egg and not implanting so maybe that would be good to know. Normally test at 11/12dpo anyway so maybe I'll do that again but with an early response to see if anything shows up 🤔 you had a good day at work? xx

@Sophj19 reading everyone's stories I realise that it's so individual but afterwards I was absolutely fine, on the day I did have some cramps but nothing worse than AF and the anaesthetic was wearing off (1st time I've had it so felt strange) but after that I was fine, physically at least. I didn't even have any follow up they just sent me on my way and that was it, if I had to go through it again I'd probably ask for follow up bloods x

@VP91x yes I work in a school and the head knows why. 1 of my previous sickness (2days) was because of my last MC too x

@Northernsoul90 thank you, I think I’ve read it already and did find it helpful.
I will be asking again if they can send the tissue for testing as I feel that will sway my decision. If they can send for testing I think I’ll go with the surgical whatever it is and if they can’t then I’d rather try the medication at home. Worrying about work as it will be my 3rd “sickness” in 5 months so will result in a meeting with HR.
@GraceG26 I’m so sorry to hear that, but am glad you’ve been referred. Im worried to start TTC again as I’m terrified of another MC and want to wait for tests first but no idea how long they will take x

I think (?) AF is due between 23-27 July (my apps disagree 😂) so perhaps I will test 25 or 26 July? Only cd7 at the moment x
