TTC after MC - July 2020 (Part 5)

@IWM20 it's really difficult to detach from those thoughts when you've experienced it before, it's hard to stay positive sometimes.
How far apart did you take the Clearblue tests? I know the weeks thing can be misleading, which is why I'm a little nervous about using it xx

@Northernsoul90 @VP91x thank you both. I'll keep the group updated with the outcome but I'm sure I know what's happening. It's now starting to just go onto a panty liner... Only slightly but clearly is getting heavier as it wasn't before now 😔 xxx

I know it’s annoying they wouldn’t scan, but yes hopefully the hcg has dropped to that level. I couldn’t really ask the questions I wanted as the lady who did my bloods didn’t usually work on that ward. I am going to ask about my levels when I get the phone call tonight.

@MichT4 it's horrible isn't it. I know bleeding doesn't always mean a MC but I think when you've had a MC and had bleeding it's automatically what you think of. My clear blue digital didn't progress either which has added to the worry. It stuck on 2-3 and I know loads of women have trouble with them and there's a big jump in hormones to 3+ but that coupled with the bleeding isn't great. It's at 3.10 so we will be leaving soonish really xxx

@MrsK21 my husband's coming with me, I thought he could come in initially with it being private but this particular clinic isn't allowing partners although most of their others do. It will be nice having him there regardless and I agree, I think driving all that way would be hard. Especially the drive home, probably won't be able to drive through my tears! 😂 (laughing but also serious 😂) xxx

@IWM20 I hope the scan later goes OK. Are you able to take your partner with you to the private scan? A 4 hr round trip on your own might be quite hard especially while you are so worried x

I thought it was too early and I’m just clutching at straws to be honest. I’m having some sharp lower pains this morning though so hopefully something is happening

@IWM20 oh I'm sorry to hear you explain all of that. I do know how you feel. The last few days I have kept wanting to go to check it and hope that it's gone. Then I was so gutted when it kept showing. Waiting is so hard isn't it, and knowing is definitely the first step so I completely understand you booking the private scan. What time is it?
I will remain hopeful that it's something else, but either way we are here for you xx

@MichT4 @SmileyT it's mostly bright red, started off as pink then brown CM which I wasn't too worried about then seems to have progressed to red when wiping (sorry TMI) and comes and goes but it's been like that since Sunday now which is worrying. I called my GP and they tested for a UTI but it was clear and they referred me to the EPU on Monday but they can't see me until next Monday... I think it's the waiting that's making me lose my mind more. I'm so scared to go to the toilet because I don't want to keep seeing it. At least if I know then I can start to accept it and welcome the bleeding as a way of recovering from the MC and can start to pick myself up again. I have managed to book a private scan for this afternoon. It's a 2 hour drive each way from me but I really can't go on like this. It will be heartbreaking hearing it but until I do I'll keep making excuses for what it could be when I think I know deep down what's happening 😔

@IWM20 so sorry to hear you've got bleeding again. Would you be able to be seen at EPU? I was only 5+3 when my bleeding started and they managed to see me x

@Northernsoul90 that's a shame they didn't scan you but hopefully the blood tests shows you're hcg continuing to drop. Are you feeling any different to previous days / ovulation signs?
I had the tiniest bit of blood in CM when checking my cervix position last night. Unsure if that means AF might be coming though 🤷🏽‍♀️

Thanks @mrsssk being sick was definitely enough to make me order my first FRERs but still didn't believe it could happen for me x

@Lollol86 I had surgery for the MMC March 19th so this is 4th cycle including the one straight after. Also anything unusual is a great sign after ovulation I think👌🏾

@IWM20 sorry to hear about your spotting. What colour is it? I have had some spotting too, and am holding onto hope that it's just unfortunate. Time will tell I guess, but maybe too early to give up hope?
I totally know what you mean with wanting to know either way, and also for feeling peed off it's happened again - it's so unfair to happen once, but to happen again is shite.
Have you called EPU or your GP?

@fafi it's like spotting but that's what happened last time I had a MC too. This time I have belly ache.. Not cramps just a funny sort of feeling that's hard to explain that I didn't have last time. I'm just so so fed up. Thought the first time was just bad luck. I know they say 2 can still be fine and you can go on to have a healthy pregnancy but I thought this was going to be that time. I can't believe it's happening again. And I can't believe it's got to happen another time before it's looked into. We were so lucky to conceive straight away and I'm already worrying that I probably won't be so lucky again. I'm more angry than upset this time round. I just want to happen now in full swing and be over 😔

Hi all. I'm joining you again... Had a MC in May then caught again in June, should be 7 weeks tomorrow but bleeding started Sunday and isn't showing signs of stopping so MC number 2 it is 🙄 xx

@Northernsoul90 sorry they didn't scan you. Did you ask all your questions? Did they indicate if you might ovulate with the PG tests the way they are?

@Lollol86 I agree with what @Northernsoul90 says - it'll be too early to have fertilised yet. I'm no expert on any of this though - feel like a bad female to not understand more. Fingers crossed it's a sign of things to come though xx

@Lollol86 I think implantation normally happens about a week after fertilisation average is 6-8 days if I remember rightly so hcg wouldn’t start building until implantation. Could be other hormones rising though I’m not sure? I hope it’s your month and you get your bfp 🤞🏼🙏🏼 X

I’ve just got back from EPU they just did a blood test. I asked for a scan but they wouldn’t do one, I was in and out within 5 minutes. Will get a call tonight with the results - I know I still have hcg in my system as I did another test this morning I’m just hoping its gone down significantly. I also asked if I will get results from the testing they did on the pregnancy tissue after my mva, the nurse said it’s highly unlikely to come back with anything other than a confirmation of pregnancy tissue but I can ring in a couple of weeks anyway to check.
