Just a quick one, my first month doing OPKs and although I have a pretty regular cycle I have started on CD5. I was under the impression I should test morning and night however the morning tests are always so faint it seems a waste of time? I've started reading SMEP and it says only do evenings? Obviously I'm getting through a lot of tests so just wondering if anyone has ever got there positive OPK in the morning or if I should stick to late afternoon evening?

@zippityzip me too! I have some days where I feel completely normal and I think oh god has it all gone wrong but just trying to be hopeful.

@bibs124 It's kicking in, boobs are like bricks, nauseous, very very tired. Just hope all is well at the scan. I'm apprehensive but trying to be excited.

So exciting @zippityzip. Hope the scan goes ok!!
All good here 5 dpo and sitting tight for a few more days before I test. Managed to cover most days in fw so given it best shot! I’ve Had really sore nipples since 2 dpo and usual bloated feeling. The nipple thing is new tho. Have 21 day progesterone bloods on wed but I guess with the symptoms I have my progesterone levels will be ok. Trying my hardest not to spend the whole time symptom spotting and wishing the days away. Being back at work definitely helping with that!!

Please let us know how the scan goes!!

@zippityzip it really is! I usually only test once AF is late, so would be if it doesn’t turn up on Monday. Feels a long way away though! I’ve had some mild cramps today which of course Google says could be implantation but I really don’t want to get my hopes up.

Hope you’re not feeling too rough, and that the 2 weeks til your scan goes quickly for you!

@zippityzip I'm okay thank you, not had loads of symptoms yet just very sore/tender breasts and bit of nausea. How are you?

@BeeMakesTea Longest two weeks ever. When do you think you'll test? Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I'm good thanks, nausea and tiredness have hit me hard this week. I'm dying for a glass of wine.

Have an early scan in two weeks when I should be 7+1 so hopefully can tell everyone then as long as everything is ok! The days just drag!!

Hi @zippityzip I’m in the dreaded 2 week wait now. I’m CD23 today, I got my + OPK on CD16. I think we timed dtd pretty well but I’m not getting my hopes up. How are you?

@LT103 Thank you. I've genuinely flapped all day I can't concentrate on work I can't even look my kids in the eye 😂 don't know what I'm doing with myself. DH isn't home until this evening. Christ.

I wana see some lore BFPs! I also have a load of Agnes castus, soy inositol and OPKS if anyone wants me to post them 😂

@bibs124 none at all! Other than a missed period. My boobs are a little sore, but generally it's about 6/7 weeks it starts to kick in. Give it time, you'll probably feel really rough very soon! From my LMP I'm apparently 5 weeks exactly.

@zippityzip have you had many symptoms? I've not really had many yet, other than a bit of nausea one day, very gassy (sorry TMI) and bloating.. as this is my first I don't really know what to expect and bit concerned I'm not having more symptoms! I am only 4 weeks today though

@bibs124 thanks for the tip, we had been dtd every other day but then did the last 2 days and will try for 3 days now! It’s hard to not feel like you’re on a schedule but at the same time I want to feel we’ve done everything we can. You’re lucky getting a positive OPK so early, I’m CD16 today so feels like a long time coming!

@zippityzip ahhh congratulations!!

@BeeMakesTea have you read the SMEP? It suggests doing it 3 days in a row after positive OPK and then wait a day and do one more day for good luck.. We didn't quite manage that this month! I got my positive OPK on CD12 and had DTD CD9, CD11 then DTD CD13 & CD14. I think just DTD as much as you can but it does feel like more of a chore when it comes to TTC. Good luck

I finally got my solid smiley today after 6 days of flashing smileys. We have DTD the last 2 days and will again today and tomorrow, hopefully that will be enough...?

@zippityzip can definitely see a line! Maybe you ovulated later than you think so prenups AF isn't due yet hence the faint lines? I'd keep testing next few days and the line should get stronger Smile
