Hey girls as we are about to get thrown out of our thread I have started a new one so we can continue manically looking for EWCM, sore (.)(.)s and orange feet whilst chanting 'in with love, out with BFNs'.

Come on over/in

digitalgirl · 30/10/2007 23:25

SK it's sounding more and more likely that tomorrow will bring a BFP for you. I'm going to say congrats now anyway!!

welcome starlight can't wait till i'm off AF so I get to practice baby-making again!

Spoke to the doc earlier today who said i need to go in for a referral to a specialist, she couldn't do it over the phone. So am going in on Monday morning. Phew! Just glad she didn't tell me to wait another few months. 37, 41 and 50 day cycles are not a level-playing field for me and DH.

thank you Gyffingirl I think I may have that too.
QPQ congratulations and spooky do you think tesco would deliver a CBD now cos it is obviously is an emergency?

Bucky2007 · 30/10/2007 19:52

Wow its all happening here. Congrats QPQ and SK sounds promising too.

I am getting seriously worried about this month. I am so stressed all of a sudden, have to get round to BDing soon. CD11 tomorrow so might crack open the OPKs soon.

Nothing new to report. Took Finn to the vet today because he needed a check up and apart from his runs he went all floppy. Apparently I am a hysterical mother, because the vet said he looked fine and gave him prescription food and then charged me £50 . So no new shoes for me.

GryffinGirl · 30/10/2007 19:47

Congratulations QPQ!!! that is great news and vindication of an early test

CM = cervical mucus

hedgepig · 30/10/2007 19:44

Hi everyone browsing down what is CM? can't find it on acronym list.

My (.)(.) hurt but they always do post OV BUT I think they hurt more. Just peed on a cheepie test but BFN, but then again I got them free when I got some OV tests from the same company and I could get the OV test to work either, I just cant bring myself to chuck them in the bin.

spookykitty · 30/10/2007 19:35

QPQ - wow congratulations am v pleased for you I mc in August so know what you are going through, are you a regular btw will I know you?

Here's my other symptoms:

"think" I need to pee more but could be imagining it

have had aches and pains in my pelvis last two days like AF is here but only usually get period pain if I am actually bleeding

v emotional but could be because of AF

think I feel a bit sick but thats nerves

NO boob tenderness but my boobs never give the game away, keep squeezing them though

did yet another test at dinnertime again v v v v v faint line, am going to buy a CBD tomorrow.

Quidproquo · 30/10/2007 18:29

spooky - get down tesco!
my line is so faint dp was seriously sceptical when i waved it at him - ran out at lunch and splashed cash on clearblue digital and guess what!

the most i can be is 10 dpo but it was positive

m/c in july so keeping feet on ground but keep staring at test!

coolkat · 30/10/2007 16:02

How bad am I I do not hae any tests in the house because I know I would keep testing and be disappointed, shame I can not keep Chocolate out the house it would solve me eating it!!

Well like I just posted on the other TTC thread not sure whether mind playing tricks or body s preparing for AF boobies felt sore today and keep having spells where I feel quite light headed, sure mind is playing tricks but we will see in a week.

Good luck to everyone.

mylittleeloise · 30/10/2007 15:09

well got some ebay cheepies through the post today and just couldnt wait to try them out, im only bout 5/6 days po so no prizes for the result will just have to resist temptation for another week
(i will be a good girl..........honestly )

spookykitty · 30/10/2007 14:09

GG if DP was here I would have got some of his pee for the control (I kid you not) it's the scientist in me

GG - 2ww is a killer, when you testing?

GryffinGirl · 30/10/2007 13:24

DG - hey, in that case I must be PG . Buckets of CM, annoying perkiness and )this is a new one ) a ravenous appetite. I've just polished off a huge sarnie and some biscuits I found left over from a meeting and I want MORE . At this rate, even if I'm not PG, I'll still develop a huge bump !

Hope you don't have any more pain after your run.

'Tis a lovely sunny day here in Ye Olde London Towne. Of course, I'd prefer to be enjoying the sunshine in Las Vegas, but my annoying perkiness means that today, even cancelled holiday seem fine. I've turned into some irritatingly happy Pollyanna person....bleughhh!

spooky, impressed with your scientific experiments of "pee v water" on PG tests. Really hope it is a thick blue line soon!

spookykitty · 30/10/2007 13:05

hiya for anyone not on the TTC waiting room thread an update, peed on ebay cheapie this morning a v v v v v faint line thougth nah, so dipped one in pee one in water this afternoon again v faint line nothing on the water, am so scared to buy a CBD in case I get a big NOT PREGNANT and AF turns up tomorrow.

QPQ - you are the same today then and for not knowing for sure.

I think I feel sick!

digitalgirl · 30/10/2007 12:06

Hey GG perkiness and increased CM are definitely symptoms!! Woohoo

Well, my 'run' was a disaster . Ran for about 10 minutes then had to stop because i was getting increasing pains somewhere round my left ovary. Never had those before. It definitely wasn't a stitch, but it could have been AF related. Anyway, thought I'd walk through it, but it got worse and ended up having to turn round to go home (imagining all sorts of rupturedness and me never being able to have children). Halfway home, it started easing up so I managed to run another 10 min. WEIRD.

I'm hoping it's my bits clearing themselves out, as it seemed to kickstart AF again (which had stopped this morning, same as last cycle). Maybe I need to do this everyday ...yeah right!

GryffinGirl · 30/10/2007 10:35

OMIGOD - QPQ, that's great news! Congratulations . It will be a big fat blue line soon. There are loads of BFP's on the Stay As Long As You Like Thread

GryffinGirl · 30/10/2007 10:33

good morning ladies!

I have skimmed the thread because I can't remember, but is lots of CM a PG sign? I saw that mylittleeloise had it and (sorry if TMI ) I do too. More than usual anyway. CD20 today, so a week until I can test. No sore (.)(.) or anything else. Never thought I'd wish for weight gain, "windy nips" and spots

Bucky - has Finn recovered from the cream cheese rear end explosion ?

Quidproquo · 30/10/2007 10:02

I cannot remember how early I have had them before digital girl...its bloody faint but it is there! Dare not hope
Good luck to everyone thinking of you

digitalgirl · 30/10/2007 09:59

SK have got my fingers tightly crossed on your 'faint' line! Hope you get a big fat one tomorrow! Can't believe how many BFPs are flying around at the moment

well, dr's receptionist told me to call back at 12:30 to speak to the doctor. hopefully, she won't want me to come back in and can just fire off a referral letter.

have the morning off, so going for a long overdue run!

digitalgirl · 30/10/2007 09:54

OMG QPQ you got a BFP already??!!! Wow! Must be a good'un if it's come up so soon. Huge congrats and best of luck!

Quidproquo · 30/10/2007 09:38

am a regular btw but name change!

Quidproquo · 30/10/2007 09:37

morning !
It is me again back with a very tentative and ridiculously faint positive! I am of course delighted but nervous as its so early - according to opk ( whicj showed positive on saturday and said 8-36 hrs after ov would occur) I think am on about day 9/10 dpo
lots of people will tell me off and i am over 40 and should know better but!! the tests call me! they were cheapy internet ones and a first response one...- you have to stare to see it but for now it is there!

07mumstheword · 30/10/2007 09:01

Penguinmum That's a long time to wait. If you really feel you could be PG could you treat yourself to a CBD? choccie on the waiting room thread was told by her DH to wait until the weekend but he went out last night and she tested and she had a BFP! Go girl I say. Am I supposed to be discouraging you? If there is such a word? I'm too impatient and know I would have to test. Good luck.

07mumstheword · 30/10/2007 08:57

I can't say all Doctors receptionists are bad as my Mum is a retired one so I've heard the other side of the story and they can get quite a bit of abuse. Having said that at my last surgery they were all evil witches and made you feel even worse for daring to want to see a doctor, there was one in particular that scared the life out of me!
I find doctors receptionsts a challenge but they are quite friendly here, I can never get past them but at least they are friendly!

DG Nice of your DH to do research, if anyone can get past receptionists you can. They normally take a msg and the doctor will phone us back here, quite good like that. Hope you don't get given the run around.

Bucky pmsl at runny dog poo in bag as I was gagging at the thought!

DH started doing some research last night and all excited got me to the computer to put in my cycle details into website calendar thingy. He said have you ever seen one of these before. lol. Have I ever? Once I got to "usual cycle length" and I told him anything between 27-32 days he finally realised why I don't know exactly when I ovulate. I think he thought it was a precise science with no room for change. Bless him! Got my CB OPK yesterday so this month I will definately use them.

Sorry rambled on again. Hope everyone is doing well.

penguinmum · 30/10/2007 08:51

morning everybody!

i have been staying away cos was becoming scarily obsessed with imaginary symptoms and cervical pursuits!

am now cd31, been feeling queasy for about a week and have very sore (.)(.). did a cheap tesco test on sunday, bfn, but am convinced i am pregnant. dh is making me wait till saturday to test again, but not sure i can hold out that long!

madoldbird · 30/10/2007 08:19

Hi shrekmissus don't apologise - i was just excited at the thought of being one of those people who allege(sp?) to be able to be in 2 places at the same time! (there's a posh word for it which escapes me at the moment)

Well, the deed was done !! madoldbloke went off to work exhausted but smiling. At least we have done all we can this month. Now officially on the 2ww, although in the boring bit, at least for the next few days. Come on, there must be some of you out there further along in the 2ww who can entertain the rest of us, and give us interesting symptoms to mull over.

DG go for it with the receptionist. You WILL be strong and get past her!

Good morning to everyone else.
