Hey girls as we are about to get thrown out of our thread I have started a new one so we can continue manically looking for EWCM, sore (.)(.)s and orange feet whilst chanting 'in with love, out with BFNs'.

Come on over/in

Pixie and DG hope you get your men into bed tonight , with you, at the same time, awake and ready for duty!! Or you could disguise it by seduction!

Herbaceous Welcome. I think you sound a very strong woman - 4 mc - I am so sorry. I really hope that this month is the month for you and it's a really sticky one.
No advice about the weekend - will your friend be sympathetic? It might be better being away fromhome, more things to distract you.

Hello girls. Can I join in?

Brief history, for those who haven't met me before. 41, four miscarriages in a row in the past two years, last one in March, all after 10 weeks. All awful, as you'd imagine. No cause found, so advised to 'keep going'.

So, the usual 2ww symptom-spotting madness is compounded by the anxiety that even if I do get pregnant, I may well lose it again and have to be locked up in an asylum.

Oh, and my younger sis has just announced her third pregnancy, conceived on first or second try. wail

To symptoms. CD 26 of 28-day cycle, feel really odd in the head, v tired and muzzy, just like I did when last pg. Cramps on and off all month. But I get cramps on off anyway. Mildly large boobs, but, as ever, another PMT symptom. You know the score.

To add to the mix, AF is due on Saturday, when I'll be away, staying with a friend, and I'm bound to bawl my eyes out. Embarrassing.

Any sanity tips?

pixie04 · 27/09/2007 10:02

OH NO! I just read that once you've hatched an egg it only survives for six to tweleve hours normally sometimes up to twenty four but thats a stretch.

I'm just hoping now that DP accidently let a few of his swimmers go when we didn't finish the job the night before last otherwise I think I've missed it.

I want to cry

pixie04 · 27/09/2007 09:49

Hi DG I've been getting faint lines all month that take about 15 minutes to come up. But this one came up within 60 seconds and was really strong. I'm just hoping I haven't missed it because I couldn't bed DP. Men they are so frustrating aren't they.

digitalgirl · 27/09/2007 09:26

Hi pixie,
I've just had the same problem. I think I got a positive on the Boots OPK. But it didn't come up quickly, it came up after an hour, and then when I went home to test on a CB digital, there was no smiley face. No idea if it was a false positive or a short surge. Will be taking another Boots test today and see if it does the same thing after an hour, so i'll definitely know. Also had trouble persuading DH to bd (seeing as i shouted at him then ignored him then cried myself to sleep then woke him up to shout at him some more). Hoping we make up by tonight. Also hoping for girl swimmers.

It's spooky how we're going through similar things!

lockets tiredness...yay!

sk thanks, will do my very best to initiate a make-up bd tonight.

pixie04 · 27/09/2007 08:54

OMG just skimmed through the posts. Digitalgirl Are you ovulating too? Yay if I manage to seduce DP we could be Test buddies!

pixie04 · 27/09/2007 08:52

Really sorry I haven't read all the posts yet but I got a BFP on my OPK last night! Now this was deffinatley a BFP the test line was as dark and the control line and it came up within 60 seconds. Also Yesterday and today I've been getting a pain in my side and I've got tender nips. Haven't noticed EWCM though

The only issue I have is that after the other night antics I couldn't persaude DP into bed last night

My question today is how long after you've ovulated do you stay fertile? I'm going to try again tonight. What do you think is it too late?

lockets24 · 27/09/2007 08:39

digitalgirl I have often had to suffer dh being late picking me up from the station and its horrid, i tell myself i am not going to angry with him, but then it just happens..i feel bad, he feels bad

i dont think i have ever been this tired, pretty sure its down to tube and train delays this week..but secretly hoping...!!

sweetkitty · 27/09/2007 07:55

aww DG it's not uncommon to feel the way you do you wait all month for an egg to hatch then your DP won't co-operate. I think a make up BD is on the cards tonight. My CBD monitor says to BD anytime in the 48 hours after getting your smiley face to maximise your chances so you've not missed the boat yet,

pmsl at the girl swimmers, yes the boys set off fast, don't ask for directions and end up lost around our kidneys, the girls take it easy and get there in the end, taking a pit stop for the shops as well now I am going mad!

digitalgirl · 27/09/2007 07:50

thank you so much deb thank you thank you thank you the thought of strong girl swimmers taking their time will get me through the day. hope you have a good day too!
dg xxxx

debinaustria · 27/09/2007 07:21

Oh DG, You deserved the chocolate ice-cream.

Hope the presentation goes well today , they won't notice puffy eyes, and if they do they'll think you've been extra diligent working until the early hours on the presentation.

Back to last night, your hormones were raging as you've been waiting and waiting for that sign of ovulation, so anything that stood in your way was bound to get in trouble. If you bd tonight you still stand a chance, how's the CM? Or there could be some v slow girl sperms swimming along from Monday - you know the sort - they're doing breaststroke with their heads above the water so they don't spoil their hair!! Advice if you're trying for a girl is to bd 2 days before OV so that the strong girl sperms are left to fertilise the egg, so you never know.

Take care and enjoy the ice cream

Deb

welcome katendmom sorry to hear of your mc, but feel free to join in with tales of strange and delightful symptoms you may or may not have.

well...[dg wheels in massive tub of chocolate icecream and a huge spoon just for herself]...i am officially a nutcase . last night i rushed home all excited. dh was late picking me up from the station. i flew off the handle and fell into a massive strop. it was late so i went straight to bed fell asleep crying. he came up and fell asleep. i woke up, feeling totally let down that he hadn't even tried to have sex with me. Left the room, sobbed. Came back, sobbed. Went downstairs to try and have a large glass of wine to calm my nerves...couldn't. Woke him up to pick a fight, he couldn't say anythign to make me feel better. So I cried myself back to sleep and had dreams where i told people how upset i was because dh wouldn't have sex with me on the one day that mattered. He got up a 5am today, so i woke up too and cried some more. Now I have to give a massive presentation today with puffy eyes, thinking we've missed the egg boat and i'm going to get my period in two weeks time and will blame him (even though it my fault for being an emotional wreck).

Why oh why did i get so upset in the first place? We haven't bd'ed since monday night. if i ov today - there might not be any of the little swimmers left in me, i've probably cried them all out.

right - sorry for such a long post. i just had to get it all out before going into work, i won't be able to talk to anyone about this today.

debinaustria · 27/09/2007 06:23

Welcome Katendmom sorry anout your mc, nut you sound like you're going to fit right in here.

katendmom · 26/09/2007 22:52

Hi guys, may I join? I haven't been on your original thread but was just reading this and it is so fun! I brought some bubbly - to go with the cake~

I had an MC in late August and a D&C on Sept. 13 (yeah, I'm not superstitious, or anything). DH and I are NOT waiting for anything - we're right on TTC.

Today I took a pg test to make sure that all my hormones are out and down and got a nasty "positive." For a second it was like a warm wave all over me... but then my fellow MNers told me that it takes 4 wks for hormones to get down. YUK!

So I'm not sure what day I'm on or what's going on but I've been known as a Queen of Obsessions at times... so I'm glad to jump right on this band wagon!

Bucky2007 · 26/09/2007 22:26

The orange feet originated from the other thread, somebody suggested that it would be good if your feet turned orange as soon as you concieved so as to prevent the 2ww torture...or something like that... cbcb or digitalgirl will remember...

I'm on CD2 so NOTHING interesting to say here. Abbymeg can't believe my cycle buddy is deserting me . But I agree, its when you don't plan it that it seems to happen...at least that's what all my friends who have babies say, so I guess they should know (as they actually have dc, I credit them with more knowledge than little old 5th cycle me )

cbcb how lovely to 'see' you!
The move sounds exciting. I'm sure your DH will build up his business in no time, especially with you (and a future BFP) to motivate him! Must be lovely not knowing what CD you are.

I, on the other hand, am CD19...soon to be CD20. I got a positive on a Boots OPK earlier today - although it didn't come up in the first three minutes, it came up when i checked again after an hour - but I've never had an opk get stronger before, only fade. Regardless, it's the first bit of good news I've had for ages so am just waiting to get out of work so I can rush home to DH!

Ooo, jut been given the all clear, will catch up on other posters tomorrow!

dg x

oh anniemac at least your lp is getting longer.

I'm still at work. Really want to be home getting it on with DH, and also want to do another opk test just to be sure!

Abbeymeg sounds like it might be a good idea, how could you possibly consider ttc whilst not on the internet? , seriously though , hope the house move and job go well and that when you're busy doing other things you'll get that bfp when you're least expecting it.

Pixie - how are things with dh?

Bucky - mmm Black forest gateaux - have you been mind reading - I saw one today and thought it looked delicious. Can you explain the orange feet?

Deb (still feeling sick, sore nips, backache, had a nap on the settee this afternoon - optimists view - I'm pregnant or pessimists view - I've a tummy bug, due on, and a lazy cow.
