Hey girls as we are about to get thrown out of our thread I have started a new one so we can continue manically looking for EWCM, sore (.)(.)s and orange feet whilst chanting 'in with love, out with BFNs'.

Come on over/in

OP posts:
mylittleeloise · 05/11/2007 22:43

(sorry TMI)not a great deal but thats what it is, could anyone please tell me WTF is going on down there

07mumstheword · 05/11/2007 21:44

beaniesteve Sounds like good symptoms especially the CM, I think it can go like that when PG You've got nice short cycles like Superlips says you could test now or tomorrow using a 4 day early test? Goodluck.

ClairePO I'm only CD9 and the dragging is unbearable! Next week I'll be on 2WW so God knows how that is going to drag this month!

mylittleeloise I'm just you could get into a size 8. I've just spent 30 minutes exercising to hold on to my size 12, I will not go up another size, I will loose weight before Christmas so I can put it all back on again!

mylittleeloise · 05/11/2007 19:26

well i have decided that the evil witch must be on her way to visit, had 3 hours ish of on-off af style cramps today and my tummy looks like someone has been at it with a bike pump, size 8 jeans changed for 10 and now dh as peed off to pub.....again

libralady · 05/11/2007 19:17

Where's the reset button gone? My threads are getting long and I reset them so I know where I read up to in the past!

ClairePO · 05/11/2007 18:33

Some very good symptoms [] everything crossed for you all!

I'm 4dpo and I have no symptoms and time is dragging sooooooo much.

superblastofflips · 05/11/2007 17:23

Beanie - why dont you have the test now?

beaniesteve · 05/11/2007 17:22

someone mentioned being very hungry... I read you can get a loss of apitite ... what's the true early sign?

beaniesteve · 05/11/2007 17:20

should I be drinking grapefruit juice?

beaniesteve · 05/11/2007 17:18

I think I just over excited my boyfriend because I said I am feeling weird. I'm on about day 22, my cycle is usually 25-26 days. I do have a strange taste in my mouth and some sharp pains in my breasts.

One thing I am not sure about though.... Cervical mucus.

Last night I felt like my period was starting because I was all wet... very thin creamy white very liquid discharge. Is this a normal part of a woman's cycle or something more pregnancy related. or have I ovulated late maybe?

sarahnh · 05/11/2007 16:08

exactly coolkat, i was just thinking the very same thing!!! i am sick of obsessing and think if nothing happens this month ( which i kinda off feel won't!) then i am going to deliberately not symptoms spot cos it just gets your hopes up and can put you in a rotten mood which i am in right now!!

coolkat · 05/11/2007 15:54

suff = stuff!

coolkat · 05/11/2007 15:54

Afternoon ladies, No rant today!

Here's hoping all these signs lead to BFP's!
GG, PIXIE amd Sarahn. I know how you all feel as you begin to doubt why/whether you feel like this and perhaps before TTC we all ignored any symptoms of periods and suff (Does that make sense!?)

Any way just a quick one off to make pork chops and trimmings got to keep the DH happy!!.... Bye

07mumstheword · 05/11/2007 12:41

Pixie GG Sarahnh The symptoms are looking really good, lets hope you get BFP's to confirm it!

DG I'm so pleased to hear you got on well this morning and you have a few tricks up your sleeve to try now. You are sounding very positive and rational, well done you as most of us seem to be raving TTC nutters!

pixie04 · 05/11/2007 12:38

Before I came off the pill I think I had a phantom PG. I had all the early symptoms that lasted weeks I was convinced I was PG except for all the BFN's, a few weeks after the symptoms went away I kept feeling a strange feeling low down in my tummy. Just above my pubic bone I was getting the feeling of bubbles moving inside, very hard to discribe it went on for about a week and my friend who had recently had a baby told me what I was describing to her was exactly what she got at about 16wks and she realised it was the baby moving. It lasted about a week on and off (evening's mainly) then one day it just stopped and I felt very sad... so came off the pill and started ttc

Sorry for another mega post just thought I'd share my little story.

pixie04 · 05/11/2007 12:31

OMG I completley missed DG's post

extra symptom:

being a dippy mo

Sorry DG really glad it went well for you at the Dr's I got a similar reaction off My GP when I got to the point and said "oi you I want a refferal" Well done, I'm really pleased your getting somewhere. Your DH is so considerate booking your appointment for you. Let me know how it goes.

I too am also resigned to the fact that it may take a few more months. Although I seem overcome with symptoms already. Maybe I'm just comming down with something?

sarahnh · 05/11/2007 12:27

i wish pixie i wish, will wait and see but seriously think its just my body playing trick with me.. maybe its a phantom pregnancy?!!

GryffinGirl · 05/11/2007 12:19

DG - am really at your lovely DH arranging an appointment at a fertility accupuncturist. So pleased that the appointment with the doc went well and the gynae appointment is just aroudn the corner. It sounds like you are very close to finding the reason for your long cycles and a way to manage them. Fingers crossed for OV. I am going to test on Thursday if AF hasn't arrived and assuming I can hold out against the tension of not knowing until then

pixie - they sound like excelent symptoms!! I have been feeling a little hungover/dopey myself recently, but not sure I could blame PG symptoms for that as it is my usual state of mind . I have had another couple of amusing symptoms which I'll throw into the mix to give you ladies a laugh:

1 bursting into tears when discussing the plot of "To Kill A Mockingbird" with DH yesterday. It's one of our favourite books, so we were discussing the ending and I went "especially when they get to meet Boo Radley, it's brilliant" and then howled. DH looked extremely alarmed.

2 extremem tiredness. I went to bed at 8.20pm last night, was asleep by 9pm and still couldn't get out of bed this morning .

If it isn't a BFP this month, then you have to slap me for being a hypochondriac with an over active imagination

pixie04 · 05/11/2007 12:17

sarahnh - late AF, sickness and weeing a lot, sore (.)(.) and tummy and back cramps... do you need to do a test? sometimes it can take a little longer for the HCG to reach your urine so if I were you do that test in the morning and see what result you get.

DG how ya doing?

digitalgirl · 05/11/2007 11:43

sarah no, the doc doesn't know which is why I've asked for a referral to a gynaecologist. I'm hoping it's just a hormonal imbalance that I can sort out with acupuncture and/or dietary changes.

pixie those are good symptoms!

sarahnh · 05/11/2007 11:41

well pixie if its any consolation i have those symptoms too.. i've been feeling hungover for days and not had a drop of alcohol and lots of weeing, although i'm trying to drink lots of water so it might just be that too

pixie04 · 05/11/2007 11:36

It's since comming off the pill I think. I had been on it so long I can't remember how long they were but do know what they were regular as clockwork. I came off the pill in Feb so they should be getting more regular by now.

I have more symptoms:

Hungover feeling sickness (without being sick)
excesive weeing (three bloody times in two hours!)

sarahnh · 05/11/2007 11:36

DG did the docs say why you might be having long cycles? i have resigned myself not to buy any more okp kits, i figure they just don't work for me and i end up obsessing! officially if my last cycle is anything to go by AF should be here by friday, but seem to get AF still cramps from about cd16 so i guess i start to obsess very early. having said that i am now having dragging pains on both sides so maybe AF is making an appearance!

digitalgirl · 05/11/2007 11:29

morning ladies

went to the docs for my gynae referral today (to get to the root of my long cycles). she was remarkably helpful, just went straight to it, no stalling or anything. have picked the hospital closest to me where it's a lot more chilled out than the main A&E hospital.

DH has also booked me an appointment with a fertility acupuncturist for next monday. am hoping they can help balance my hormones, they certainly helped to get my friend's lesbian sister pregnant with her second IVF treatment! pixie will let you know how it goes, maybe it's something you can do too.

Am feeling very positive today. CD9 and my temps are still low, much lower than pre-AF so that should mean that my 15/16 day luteal phase was working as normal.
Have also adjusted to the fact that it may take a few more months to get PG, if I'm honest with myself I was hoping it would happen immediately. I've now accepted that I'm going to have to be very patient and keep on having lots of great sex. We've been saving up for my time off, so the longer it takes the more money we'll have and the longer I can have off.

Saying that, I'm hoping I ov within the next 10-12 days. Would be nice to have a relatively normal length cycle for once!

MLE looking very good for you.
GG glad you had a lovely weekend. you testing day AF is due or waiting till the weekend?
sarah I got a positive opk on CD20 then didn't get AF till after CD50. If your cycles are irregular then it's best not to trust the opks.
mtw even though we're cycle buddies I think you'll be racing ahead and ov'ing much before I do! Good luck chasing the egg!

hi to bucky, starlight, shreksm, lips and coolkat!

sarahnh · 05/11/2007 11:05

thanks pixie, it is just so frustrating!!! that you think i might be pregnant but i am going to continue to bd just incase cos you never know!! have your cycles alwasy been eratic?? is it just stress that makes that happen? as i said i have always been pretty regular, even after coming off the pill after 8 years to concieve dd1, they just clicked straight back into 28 days days!!

pixie04 · 05/11/2007 10:57

sarahnh you poor thing I hate not knowing what's going on with my cycles so I can sympathise. I think your symptoms sound great though.

If I were you I would do another pregnancy test tomorrow AM with morning wee. If it's another BFN then I think you may not have ovulated after your got your OPK. Sometimes you get the surge but no egg (although I think you must be PG because of your symptoms). I got three positive OPK's last week, had a weeks worth of OV pains and my cervix was high, soft and open for about ten days. I am pretty sure I ovulated over the last week but I have not got a clue when so I could be due on next Monday or it could be the Monday after. Pain in the arse hey!

Do your best to relax because if you aren't PG and you haven't ovulated yet stress will only delay it further.
