Hey girls as we are about to get thrown out of our thread I have started a new one so we can continue manically looking for EWCM, sore (.)(.)s and orange feet whilst chanting 'in with love, out with BFNs'.

Come on over/in

digitalgirl · 13/10/2007 09:32

I'm sorry ladies...BFN.

So rather than thinking, 'oh okay, hurry up AF so we can try again next month' I'm thinking 'hmm, maybe all that EWCM was me ACTUALLY ovulating...maybe the on the opk two weeks ago picked up a LH surge that never actually produced an egg...maybe dh's swimmers from tuesday night will have lasted through to thursday's actual egg hatching'

maybe i'm completely crazy. but we certainly didn't conceive anything two weeks ago coz it would be a bfp by now wouldn't it?

this will sink in. i will be sad for a few hours. then i will try and get on with the weekend.

Of Course you may join us here, all are welcome

Funnily enough, I was not too bothered by the flirting, DH just loves to do it and can't beleve that it is happening to him. He seems to think himself average looking, so is surprsed when he is flirted with.
He always tells me though cos he is so excited.

Once he realised that I was mad, he wanted to do the right thing and stay home, but I felt I was stopping his fun so he could sit and watch me type, so sent him back, but with a flea in his ear.

He didn't come home until 1 am and slept on the couch!!
Said it was so his snoring wouldn't wake me. Prob right enough, I would have been angry by his boozy fumes anyway!

07mumstheword · 13/10/2007 09:15

Fairysnuff I had to come onto this thread to see your why you were I have to say if that were my DH I would have been livid. I have a really insecure streak so probably would have been tearing my hair out. I hope he has thoughts about it today and treats you like a princess to make up.

I'm glad to have found this thread though, may I join you here as I'm just in the 2 WW.

PicknMix · 13/10/2007 06:51

DG I'm up early cos wanted to see whether you'd tested yet or not!!!! Have everything crossed for you right at the mo (although may pop back to bed for a bit as is my day off and am really rather tired).

Like most of you, I too am blind as a bat! Tried the whole contacts thing but just don't get on with them (apparently my eyes have an 'odd' prescription so you can't get contacts that match it so will always be a bit blurry

Fairy sounds very much like DH is being a bit unreasonable - I've got nothing against my DH admiring other women but to go back to somewhere so he can flirt more not sure I'd be all that keen on that.

Agree with what people said on the Oct thread - you should take some time for yourself.

Oh, and yes, it is entirely possible that you could be ov'ing on cd21 - the pains sound about right!

Right, have waffled, am back off to bed now (have really bad af cramps although am only on cd28 and don't think af is due just yet). Have to admit to being very unrestrained and got a bfn last night. Unsurprising really as only 11dpo .

fairysnuff · 13/10/2007 00:24

Hi all, I hve been having withdrawal symptoms again, this time because I couldn't get to a computer for a couple of days!!
I need my daily MN fix!!

Well I told you I was having cramps, they got quite bad today, not majorly but enough to want to take a paracetamol.
It was just on my right hand side though.
You guys have talked about ovulation pains being in one particular side?
I am on CD21 though
Although, DG you ovulated about this time, didn't you?

Have to go buy a decent opk now, cos I am just so unsure.
Have sent DH away though. He was in the pub, meant to be for a quick pint, 2 hours later and I send him a text saying DH!
He comes home to tell me how two girls (women, married ones with children, granted) have been fawning over him all night. I am on here, so he will just go back, yeah?
NO!
I sent him back in the end cos I didn't want to be around him, but he is being selfish right?
I never get to go out (don't like the pub in question, or those who frequent it) but it is ok for him to spend his Friday nights there?? chatting up women??
Cos the little wife is at home babysitting whilst he has a larf?

pixie04 · 12/10/2007 17:34

Ahh thank you I think I may well just do that. Thats a really good idea . Poor Hogwarts I haven't looked at her thread for a little while last I heard she re arranged the scan.

Excitable · 12/10/2007 17:02

Pixie - would it help if you took us all in your pocket with you to your scan like hogwarts did when she went to the doctors? We'll hold your hand too if you just put it in your pocket!

We'll all be thinking about you on Tuesday now.

pixie04 · 12/10/2007 13:23

The scan is to check that the endo hasn't spread to my ovaries causing chocolates cysts (which could stop me ovulating from one of my ovaries) and to see if there is evidence of Adnemyosis, my new consultant is skeptical about me having it as its normally found in post menopausal women apparently.

Thanks for the support guys I know I'm setting myself up for a fall but I'm in the desperatly clinging to any hope corner.

Excitable I think you and I must have a connection if both of our AF's have stopped early. Its great having a cycle buddy, hopfully we'll get that BFP in Novemeber together and then we can moan about our PG symptoms together on the ante natal threads (not that we'd be moaning much as we will be so pleased) x

DG am still hoping for you (and praying and keeping everything crossed)

Excitable · 12/10/2007 12:53

We'll be here, Pixie and we'll have the hollow ready for you to wallow. That's what we're here for.

My AF has finished early too, Cycle Buddy! Now feeling some strange cosmic link with you and am treating it as a good sign for a November BFP for both of us!

DG I had loads of those symptoms this month too. I really hope you're pg, but I don't know if you are. Do you also feel like you're going mad like I did before AF came? DH had to tell me to calm the f**k down, as his hints weren't working He loves me really, but it was driving him mad watching me tie myself in knots. Am sitting on my hands until the weekend around him now.

digitalgirl · 12/10/2007 12:31

At least you'll know one way or another pixie but I wish you lots of luck for Tuesday. Are they looking for anything in particular with the scan, or is it because your last cycle was so long?

pixie04 · 12/10/2007 11:01

Bucky you shouldn't be on here you are damaging your eyes [finger pointing emoticon] hehehehe I know how it feels I too am practically blind but am the same as DG and wear contact lenses for the very same reason. Yet I still stumble downstairs in the morning to take a look at MN without my lenses in with my face practically on the screen.

DG you and I can obviously read minds I too am praying that AF has gone for a good while. Although I did give myself a telling off this morning. I had a dream last night that I went to the scan and was told that there was a little bud in there. I had to have stearn words with myself because I have pretty much convinced myself that by some miracle I must be PG but I will only be dissapointed when I get there and there is no little bud. I mean I did miss the boat with the BD'ing around Ov, I got DP two days before ovulation (the time I cried coz he asked if we were done yet) and once a day after Ov. Also I have had an AF all be it a short stay and I have absolutely no symptoms.

Be prepared ladies I will be wallowing on here on Tuesday night when the Doc confirms that there is no pregnancy.

Bucky2007 · 12/10/2007 09:12

Let's hope they don't get posted back to the optician because then I really am b*ggered.

OP posts:
Bucky2007 · 12/10/2007 09:10

dg I understand what addicts feel now...despite having to screw my entire face up to see one word at a time, I am still peeking at MN. My glasses don't come for a week...don't know what I am going to do. I should have gone to specsavers . Hopefully after a weeekend of not reading/using the computer they will be a bit more rested. YEAH RIGHT

OP posts:
digitalgirl · 12/10/2007 08:45

bucky if you can read this...you should be resting your eyes!! I too am blind as a bat, but I wear contact lenses as my eyesight is so bad I need NASA technology to make frames thin enough to fit into a pair of normal frames. so I'm going without until i can afford them.

Where do you live? I'm going to send a trained monkey round so you can dictate (from your chaise longue like Barbara Cartland) as it types onto MN for you.

Bucky2007 · 12/10/2007 08:00

Didn't mean to sound like I was boasting about expensive glasses, it is just funny because that is what I told DP!

OP posts:
Bucky2007 · 12/10/2007 07:59

Morning everyone, I am not a work today because....and don't laugh...I have eye strain!! I shouldn't be on the computer now,I have really blurred vision after about 5 minues. I went to the optician and of course I need glasses, the most expensive glasses in the world as nothing cheaper suited my big face .

Anyway all of your symptoms seem positive,. I look forward to lots of BFPs over the weekend. However, last time I checked eye strain wasn't a symptom and now I can't see again so have to go .

Have a good day. (good thing I can touch type!)

picknmix I hope dizzy's a symptom coz I've been like ethat the past week!!! When are you testing???

pixie aha! Now I know I'm not the only one who lurks there!!!! Fingers crossed your AF has gone for good (and won't return till sometime next year)

GryffinGirl · 11/10/2007 19:41

Picknmix - they sounds like excellent symptoms! You will definitely be graduating soon!

pixie04 · 11/10/2007 19:30

GG & DG at your stories! its better than Eastenders on here... well almost

DG I saw your post on the Due June thread.. I think you'll be joining them soon hehehehe

PicknMix your symptoms sound great maybe you'll be joining DG and the others on the Due June thread. Fingers crossed for you both

Guess what AF has stopped. Normally I have really bad cramps for a week before and during AF and they used to last at least five days. I did have a heavy bleed this morning so guess we'll have to wait and see I have absolutely no symptoms though so maybe just a short AF this did happen last month as well.

PicknMix · 11/10/2007 18:43

Hiya all,

Wrote a nice long post yesterday and then the computer crashed and I was far too tired to go through the faff of turning it on/waiting for it to warm up/signing in etc.....

Hope all are ok?? Wasn't sure if I should be wearing some kind of armour to come in here - protect me from all the slapping going on !!!

GG hope you're feeling ok and the choc and wine has helped a little.

I have had a funny old day - have been trying to totally ignore anything remotely Symptom-like because I don't want to get too excited but I had a bout 3 dizzy spells (had eaten and drunk normal amount so not due to dehydration etc.) and my boobs are so sore it hurts to walk quickly now. Also have funny cramps low down which could be start of af cramps but I usually only get cramps once af has well and truely set up camp, never before she arrives.

Sorry for me me me post, just been pondering all day.

Ooh, and I am being soooooo grumpy with DH (luckily he's the forgiving sort ).

digitalgirl · 11/10/2007 18:24

gg she only just started dating him a few months ago...and this all came out very early on in their relationship...but yes, made her wonder. not enough to end it though.

GryffinGirl · 11/10/2007 17:47

DG - you say your friend "is going out with". Is she still with him? isn't getting the same woman up the duff twice a marching orders offence for a DP?!?

GryffinGirl · 11/10/2007 17:42

it was a couple of years ago. Not sure why she didn't tell him, but he told me the relationship was wasn't serious, she didn't want a termination (or talked into one) and was living 200 miles away so he wouldn't find out. Last thing I heard he was getting involved with his DS's upbringing. He doesn't have any other DC's, so his DW had a shock too. Hence my comment about my DH being unproven..... as far as I know I suddenly remembered that story!!

digitalgirl · 11/10/2007 17:19

gg why on earth didn't she tell him earlier?!?

a girl i work with is going out with a guy who only found out recently that he'd fathered a daughter with a woman he'd had a short fling with. she told him when the daughter was 2yo. then when she came to visit with her daughter (she lives in canada) for xmas, he stupidly had a one night stand with her. ta da! pregnant again! your lawyer friend better watch out, maybe she wants another baby...
