Ooooo forgot to mention that even though AF has gone (apart from weird discharge) The last two days I've felt really crampy. Also although it was messy I tried a bit of cervical persuit during AF (yes it sounds icky but I washed my hands) well my cervix was high and soft and from what I've read it should have been low and hard and open? I only had cramping on the first day of AF as well and that was acctually bareable where as I'm normally in agony and taking every pain killer possible.

Hi DG really glad you have had a nice relaxing time. At least you know what's happening with your cycles even if they are long ones. I know with my huge cycle the thing I worried about the most was that I may not have been ovulating.

I've got my scan this evening. I think they put me with the Ante Natal ladies for my gyne appointments because my last appointment was on a Saturday and this one is after 5.30pm, how considerate.

I'm having an internal scan to check for any cysts on my ovaires my gyne wants to check that the endo hadn't spread up there. Also I was diagnosed last year as having adnemyosis but my new gyne thinks that would be unlikley becuase I'm under 35 so the scan should be able to shead some light on that as well. I am secretly hoping that they will find a little sac in there and tell me I'm PG and that all the tests are wrong and that my AF was an implantation bleed.

(TMI ALERT TMI ALERT) BTW although my AF was very short (only two days) I have been having a dark brown discharge when I go to the loo. Not enough to stain my knickers but I can see it on the loo paper, so I'm not sure what that is.... I'm still getting it today so not sure what to do about the appointment. I think I'll just mention it and see what the doc says.

woohoo I think AF is on her way! I know I did hope that I may get pregnant straight away after mc but part of me was really worried about that too so I feel quite positive about starting again.

OMG was just reading another thread and am in total shock. Do any of you live near Chase Farm hospital in Enfield? If so, MOVE immediatley so you don't have to go to that hospital!!

Sorry I meant to say Hi to the newbies and boo hoo to those who have had BFN or TEW visiting over the last few days.
It also looks like it's been extremely emotional for quite a few of you over the weekend. {LL sends huge cyber hugs to everyone and plenty of babydust }
That should be enough for a couple of days.

I didn't have anything anyway near as fancy as your menu DG but I did have a sneaky cigarette in a defiant 'if all I get is a bfn then I'll do what I like' type way. Didn't taste too good though.....

PicknMix I have been thinking that I could become a world renowned latin dancer all lithe and beautiful with itty bitty costumes. I would walk around with perfect posture, totally groomed with natural looking false eyelashes and perfect white teeth. I would jump up at weddings and formal occasions when dancing music comes on and clear the dance floor with my moves. Hmm, now where do I find that class? I have never actually done latin dancing before and my friend (yes I do have one ) tells me if you turn up without a male partner you have to dance with a girl cos not may single boys turn up, but hey its worth a go! Or I might just go to that photography class, I wonder though, with digital cameras what do you do? I did an art foundation course and a design degree so I did a bit a lot of years ago, but I had to develop film and stuff then..

dg If I meet you can I pet your cyber dog and use your communication bracelet (you know the one that you speak into to contact your friends). Will you be the one wearing the silver shift dress and silver knee high boots? It sounds like you have figured out your cycle but HOW do you deal with such long cycles?? 45 days?? I hope you are right and it works out, but I am gobsmacked (no offence meant of course, but you know that by now).

I have the now usual up a cup tits. And now they hurt when I run which is a new symptom otherwise nothing....6 or 7dpo. I am sure I ov about the time of the on my OPK. Tits started growing immediately after.

And finally...sorry post so long..I went to the walk in back rub place and the woman asked me if I was ttc or pregnant, and I said yes, and she said you shouldn't have massages during the first trimester, even if there was only a chance that BFP and that alot of people would refuse me. She did the massage saying she was avoiding all the 'points' associated with the womb. My neck and shoulders were killing and I figured surely massaging your neck isn't going to prevent a BFP??

Hi everyone
I take a few days off from MN and spend an hour or so catching up with everything that has been happening.
I'm now CD20 and all of a sudden my boobs feel completely different. They are much firmer and feel quite tender. I definately have a metallic taste in my mouth especially when I am eating something particularly in the morning when I am having breakfast. Is it too early to be experiencing symptoms or are they psychopsyhmatic (sp?)

anyone else do things hoping that sod's law will kick in and bring on a BFP? This weekend I drank two glasses of bubbly, ate medium-rare meat (wood pigeon, if you must know ), goats cheese with a blue rind on it and half a smoked salmon sandwich.

I don't even know what eating any of these things, if PG, does to you...

I used to live 2mins away from Bailiffscourt Hotel and am of you DG!! I went to a wedding earlier this year to The Spread Eagle in Midhurst (same chain) and it was absolutely gorgeous.

DG a thermometer and a pen (that works - worse thing ever to have to rummage around at 6.30am looking for one!!) and a piece of paper is all you need. You can download charts from the net or just use a diary. I then transfer my details onto fertilityfriend.com (I not a 'VIP' member i.e. I use the free version but it still charts it for you) et voila!

Claire I bought mine from Boots as well - the one in a fertility kit - was more expensive (for just a fancy black folder, book and thermometer) but seems to do the job ok to .00 - although I have found that my temps do jump around which is why its important to take it as soon as you wake up before you do anything. Its more a trend that your looking for so if you have a 'wierd' temp one day it might just be a one off (fertilityfriend notes what time you take it and if its different from usual they mark it so that you know it might be a one off)
