Hey girls as we are about to get thrown out of our thread I have started a new one so we can continue manically looking for EWCM, sore (.)(.)s and orange feet whilst chanting 'in with love, out with BFNs'.

Come on over/in

Yeah, DG where are you?

Bucky can't believe the stinking burglars have been at your place. Hate them all! My friend got burgled and they picked through his CDs and only left him with half of them. He was really upset about the ones that they'd left behind! Hope your DP is back today - what a shitter. You deserve the next BFP, I reckon.

Bucky2007 · 17/10/2007 16:21

And DG where is the job news??? you know I am dying to find out what happened at lunch...

Bucky2007 · 17/10/2007 16:20

Hey I stick around here constantly...why is everyone worried about posting when they are not doing the 2ww. Am I missing something? . I would miss everyone one if they went away for half the month. I am probably breaking MN protocol or something but aren't rules made to be broken .

OP posts:
spookykitty · 17/10/2007 16:12

hello again I can officially "come over" again tomorrow as I will be on the 2ww then

pixie04 · 17/10/2007 16:04

DG saw you on the other thread, hope the whole job thing works out for you. I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you decided to go with the new job and get your BFP they'll just have to deal with it. Take a look at their Maternity pay though. BTW when are you next doing a HPT?

digitalgirl · 17/10/2007 15:08

ClairePO - glad you can start working out best bd'ing time! Hopefully AF won't hang around for too long, then you can start ov-spotting!

picknmix booo, hiss to TEW. Stealth shagging in oz could be loads of fun!

ClairePO · 17/10/2007 15:02

AF arrived for me too, so no symptom spotting for a few weeks but will still hang around if that is OK, its very educational

Told DP about AF and he is happily working out when he needs to be 'active'

07mumstheword · 17/10/2007 12:40

DG Sounds like you are in a good place at them moment, fingers crossed for a BFP icing on the cake soon.

picknmix Bloody evil witch!! Hope you enjoy Oz, if the family leave you alone for 5 minutes perhaps you could squeeze one in? A baby conceived in OZ?

PicknMix · 17/10/2007 12:13

Pixie pleased the appt went ok, lovely to have some positive answers.

Bucky I think I would have stacked the (left over) contents of my house against the door too if I had just been burgled - I had the same attitude when I lived in a flat once until I realised that if there was a fire I'd be blocked in - oops!

My friend once went on the MI5 website and took their test to see if she would make it as a 'special agent'.... Needless to say she failed (she has an inability to keep her mouth shut so would prob blurt out the countries top secrets inadvertantly)!

All appt's sounds like a positive step - dg and mtw and lists are a must.

As for me - turns out af had simply left to go and get the rest of her bags. She returned this morning and has well and truely set up camp . Am gutted for obvious reasons but even more so because Nov is out for ttc whilst we are away (staying with family). The only saving grace is that my temps seem to be text book like so think my body has adjusted from the mc in Jan. Will be organising a trip to the dr when I get back from Oz though I think (I was told I had PCOS last yr and would prob find it v difficult to concieve).

digitalgirl · 17/10/2007 12:06

sorry to hear that's happened twice mtw, that really sucks.

I am not looking forward to the doc telling me to 'relax' and 'not think about it' like everyone else says. How the hell am I supposed to 'not think' about the most important life-changing decision I've ever made??? Besides, I've done everything I can this month to relax. We've kept ourselves gently amused over the weekends, I've done my best to not turn into a raging harpy despite my cycle meesing me about (again). We've had loads of great sex and my relationship with DH is at a really good place. What else is there?

07mumstheword · 17/10/2007 11:32

I've had to wait 3.5 wks for this appointment! It was supposed to be to confirm my BFP but I started bleeding a few days later. (this has happened twice in 6 months, BFP then bleed within a couple of wks ) I so want some answers but I have a feeling I will just be told to be patient. Still I'm doing something about it and I'm armed with my list of questions.

pixie04 · 17/10/2007 11:29

07MTW Lists of questions are great I do them before every consultation because otherwise I forget what I want to ask or tell the doc.

07mumstheword · 17/10/2007 11:12

I went Christmas shopping last night and just catching up on MN now. OMG Bucky how awful. Through all my and horror I then read that they left the essentials like hair straigheners & kettle. LOL. You seem to be handling it so well. I'm glad they left your PC so you could have MN support, who needs a tele with MN?

pixie what a relieve. Glad your appointment went so well.

DG Hope GP is helpful on Friday. I'm due to see my GP tomorrow and Ive made a list of questions. God help her!!

pixie04 · 17/10/2007 10:51

Glad your Okay Bucky hope my post didn't sound patronising " poor you ect" Was just worried I've thought about becoming a CSI person I think of it everytime I watch the programme

I'm now CD 7 so am using the OPK's. I'm not in the 2ww any more but I love this thread so I'm staying too if that's ok.

DG glad your going to the doc's hopefully they'll be able to give you some answers. The lady who did my scan last night asked if I'd had my hormones checked because of my irregular periods. I haven't but I think she's going to reccomend it to my consultant. Maybe you could ask your GP to take a look at yours?

Bucky2007 · 17/10/2007 10:23

Forgot to say thanks to PicknMix for being so sweet and thinking of coming to sit with me last night. Its the thought that counts and you were all 'virtually' here which made loads of difference.

Thanks v. much again to all of you. x

digitalgirl · 17/10/2007 10:21

Well done for staying so level headed throughout this whole ordeal bucky. During the last series of spooks I wanted to be in MI5 or MI6. Thankfully that urge has left me. SOCO though, can't be as dangerous...

picknmix how's AF doing? I remembered to take my temp this morning. Didn't want to though, not when i was all snugly in bed. Don't know whether I'll actually be able to keep it up

ClairePO · 17/10/2007 10:18

Pleased everything went well Pixie, what CD are you on now? Fingers crossed that this is your month

Glad you're OK Bucky, hopefully the insurance will pay out speedily. What did the CSI guys do?

I don't have any symptoms, in fact I don't really know why I'm in this thread except for the fact I like it here as I'm not really in the 2ww.

Bucky2007 · 17/10/2007 10:10

Morning girlies, glad all went well Pixie we were all thinking about you. Also v. relieved that you are at last going to the docs dg .

I slept ok, was a bit pathetic and piled loads of things in front the bedroom door not sure what I thought that would do except make a load of noise and crush me in my sleep but hey ho. Still alive . I feel surprisingly blaise about the whole thing. Its just stuff and I am kind of grateful that it was all superficial mess. They emptied all the drawers out on the floor and walked mud everywhere and ripped off skirtings to get all the appliances out (they were cabled behind the skirtings to avoid wires everywhere), but they seem to have been considerate burglers as they left the important stuff like my computer, hair straighteners and the kettle! Now that the SOCO have been and I have started cleaning up, feel ok really. I was insured so that helps. The only thing I am worried about is that they will come back as they will know we will just replace it on insurance. .

Back to important things anyway. Have prodded (.)(.)s this morning and don't think they hurt more than last month They are quite hard and round though. I look like I had a tit job . I suppose that is a good thing, better than them being round my ankles.

Ooh ooh, one more thing. I think I want to be a SOCO. How exciting. I secretly got all their detective leftovers out of the bin and scrutinised them. They actually say CSI on them!! . How ridiculous am I?? I am excited by my own burglary. I should be crying in a corner somewhere.

digitalgirl · 17/10/2007 09:51

Glad to hear it went so well pixie. Phew, I thought Bucky's burglars had got to your toadstool!

bucky I hope you had a safe night's sleep.

well DH has kindly booked me an appointment at the docs this friday morning. I will definitely be keeping this one whether AF comes or not. Bored of long cycles now. 37, 41 and CD40 today. No real cramps or sore boobs to speak of either. I am getting fat though...all this eating and lack of exercise (been too busy/lazy to keep up my running), it's actually me that's dragging the nation's average weight up.

pixie04 · 17/10/2007 09:04

Good Morning Ladies,

bloody burglers! grrrrr. Bucky are you okay? How did it go during the night? I don't think I'd sleep a wink if I'd been you. You poor thing that's awful. I can't believe what happened How are you feeling about it all?

PicknMix Sorry AF turned up.

Well my appointment went brilliantly. Thank you to all who came. x There's no bean in there but the good news is she can't see any problems with my ovaires and my whomb lining is thin which it's supposed to be post AF so it's good news. All seems to be in order. Hopefully when I see my consultant at the end of November he won't want me to have another laparoscopy because that would mean having to take a break from ttc.

Sorry I didn't manage to get on to post last night but DP hogged the PC and I was knackered what with a cold and having been man handelled slightly I got a nice early night.

ClairePO · 17/10/2007 07:30

Morning all

Bucky hope you had an OK night and managed to sleep OK

pixie hope you're OK and it went OK yesterday

picknmix how long was she here for?

OK yesterday wasn't CD1 for me hmmmm maybe today.

Bucky2007 · 16/10/2007 23:47

fairysnuff the burglers did mess up the carpets but only the ones I didn't have cleaned! They came in the back...police came in the front!

Another quite embarrassing thing is my bedroom was so messy when I left for work after trying on six different outfits and drying/straightening my hair, didn't make the bed etc...that I wasn't actually sure if the burglars had been up there . Note to self: clean up before I go to work each day.

OP posts:
fairysnuff · 16/10/2007 23:28

Should we stay the night in her handbag do you think?
I hope everything is ok though.
