Dipping back in to say hello and share the crazy!
I'm all ready to start looking at fertility clinics and then get a randomly light period (but still worthy of being called a period), been shattered all week and feeling nauseous at some point every day.
I'm sure its all in my head as we've just moved house (easily stressful enough to cause period changes) its blinking hot here (south of france) so nobody is sleeping well so obviously I'm tired and my endometriosis symptoms have been getting worse so its entirely likely to be causing nausea. But I can't help thinking but what if...
I promised I wouldn't test like a crazy lady this time but I'm going to have to aren't I?!

He couldn't come round, I'm so upset, trying to get him round now but he's not replied. It would need to be now the app says. I can't do this if he won't help.
It's cruel to dangle hope in front of me like this. Really angry.

Can I join you ladies? Would be nice to chat about ttc with others as my baby making friends are all done and have school aged kids.

I'm 36, ttc #1, on my 3rd cycle. I think I had a chemical pregnancy after 1st cycle, but didn't test - just was 3 days late despite being very regular, and had a horrendous bleed.

Currently 4dpo, AF due on 12th... fingers crossed

@LT103 Ah ha ha ha! Awkward! At least I don't have to see this guy for a while. I forgot how my hormones make me a bit loopy

9dpo for me today and took a cheapy test and bfn. Had back ache yesterday and cramping today as well and feels like af is on the way so I guess I'm probably out too.

Ohh god @Sleeeeeepy I’ve had that with my boss once (who I don’t find attractive in the slightest) Don’t know if it was when ovulating or not as long time ago but I had to work with him the next day!!! It was so awkward! Hahaha

Morning ladies, hope you are all well. I haven't posted for ages as work has been really busy but just caught up with the thread. Lol-ing at the ovulation dreams @Homassy and @Sleeeeeepy!

@Homassy Lol I had a dream about snogging my work colleague when I was ovulating 😂 I haven't seen him for months and I think in my mind he has become more attractive than he actually is. Sod all these hormone tests, just go with your strange dreams for ovulation prediction!

I'm keeping on hoping for you lastditch. I had all sorts of spotting and little bleeds when pregnant and the HCG levels seemed to fluctuate a bit on tests in the very early days. It's such an anxious time.

My LH sticks are still very negative on day 14 but TMI I have EWCM and had an interesting dream about Joe Lycett (wtf?! only a snog but very nice, thanks Joe!!), which makes me think must be around ovulation.

Last months my positive LH stick was about CD 18 but then a period on CD 30. My symptoms all fitted with CD 14 so no idea....

Thanks @Happyhappy37 and all, but I'm not getting my hopes up. My lines aren't progressing at all and have had some darker CM this evening. So wondering if it's been a chemical pregnancy. CD 28 today, not sure when period is/was due as only had 1 cycle off Mirena. So just have to wait it out...

@Rumi1 I don't know for definite but... I think it's something to do with the fact that we secrete LH all the time in different amounts. If you start tracking well before ov. the digi picks up your personal baseline (background) level, and kind of works out to ignore that when looking for a surge. So it can be more accurate and tell you sooner when the surge is starting.
The strips obv cannot do that so I think they only indicate a surge from a level that would be well above anyone's (ie not yours) baseline and so are less sensitive and will prob show a peak after the digi does. It's why you cant change holders halfway through a cycle with the CB 4 day fertility as you lose the data already stored. Does that make any sense?!

@Rumi1 I also have this and the cheap tests aren't as dark the same time as the static smiley. Someone else on here told me the cheap ones aren't as accurate as the cd digis so I've gone with them. Had I gone with cheap ones would prob have missed ov or not timed things as well. The cb tends to tie in with ov pain etc that I get too.

@PirateWeasel I use the clear blue digital that syncs to your phone

Usually quite good

Although my reading on clear blue is different to the cheaply OPK

So this morning my CB gave me the slim key face

However when I do the OPK kits form Sainsbury's the result line isn't as dark as the control line so I'm really confused

Also I have NO ovulation symptoms 😳

I’m 5 dpo, spotting stopped yesterday but had loads of creamy cm which is now stretchy. Don’t recall having this before at this stage but I think I’m just so much more aware this cycle because it’s my first tracking and I’m clutching at atraws with every little twinge 🙈. Roll on next week to do a test!! 🤞

@Lynnysong I’ve heard it was 12-36 hours too but agree with @lucieloos that before OV is probably better.

@PirateWeasel- I’m on CB Digital (the ones that give you 4 days)

What opk brand do people use? Pretty sure AF is on the way (boo) and I'm very tempted to roll out the big guns next month!

@Lynnysong it's normally around 24 hours but the day before ov has higher chances than day of ov so I would prob go tonight

@lynnysong after you get peak I think you ovulate 12-36 hours later. I didn’t get any ewcm this time either, just watery but apparently that is fertile too. 🤞🤞 for you

I got a peak reading!! How soon do you ovulate after that? Don't know if the donor should come round today or tomorrow.

I don't have a raised resting heart rate though or the peak fertile cm. I'm a bit confused lol

Hi all sorry been gone a while.. I took the af arrival very badly and needed to take some time out.
Af has nearly gone so baby dancing will continue ASAP. Do so hope it doesn't take over my world like last month.

@Homassy hope your lh surge gets on with it soon. It is so stressful tracking all this stuff.

Mine is up at 75% now and the lines got a lot darker. Heart rate hasn't gone up but I'm on decaff now and that might be an issue. Also I took the soy later and at a lower dose. That can push ovulation back.

Bottom line is I don't know whether to ask the donor round today or not?? Don't know when I'll ovulate, so annoying

Ah! Fair enough, fingers crossed 🤞 we all end up at that bridge soon!
