I'm on CD25 AF due 2nd July, potentially no ovulation this month or my body just refuses to budge on temp 😩

If anyone else would like to join please do xx

@VP91x I have 🤣🤣 I can’t believe people go on that show, then casually walk into work the next day 🍆🍑
I’ve also started watching New Girl again which I love. I missed the last couple of series so decided to start from 1 as it’s on Netflix now. Luckily OH likes it too, so that brings me laughs of an evening.
I’ll be positive until I have reason not to be. Just prepping damage limitation now

Renna · 29/06/2020 19:15

@Hayleylou89 amazing pictures hun xxx so happy for you ? Do you get go see a heart bear at this point? Xxx hope you get a good night's sleep xxxxx

VP91x · 29/06/2020 19:04

@MichT4 just saw you also recommended Inside Out! Haha x

@SmileyT thank you lovely 🥰 definitely won't go anywhere just yet. In celebration of my decision Ive ordered some more cheapies 😂Ooh, get the Disney+ I recommend Inside Out! That is a fab film too.

Glad you are feeling good today. Xx

@MichT4 oh no, no more feeling down there's every reason to stay positive. When I feel like having a giggle I watch an episode of 'Naked Attraction' have you seen it? X

@Northernsoul90 thank you for being so supportive 🥰 x

@SmileyT yeah work was ok today, actually went pretty quick for a Monday.
They don’t feel as bad as AF cramps, but I guess they can vary in strength, and if they were a few days pre they could be quite mild
I actually think I’m imagining them now, it’s ridiculous 😂

I’m watching Inside Out. Cute film! I need to shower but I’m feeling super lazy

Northernsoul90 · 29/06/2020 18:53

@VP91x that sounds like a good idea and probably the most sensible option. Now you’ve made a decision you can hopefully relax a little about it and you have a fresh cycle ahead 😊

SmileyT · 29/06/2020 18:51

@MichT4 yep got in at 5.30 and feeling strangely good for a Monday 🤷🏾‍♀️ how has work been for you? Do they feel like AF cramps? On one side does sound positive but I know you don't want to get too hyped up so I'll stay quiet. It really isn't long until you'll know for certain x

@VP91x this sounds like a fantastic plan and means you won't be leaving us yet ☺️ just my standard eating and watching telly, although I'm tempted to stay off Netflix and put another Disney movie on it really did lift my mood, what about you? xx

MichT4 · 29/06/2020 18:40

@northernsoul90 I am trying to keep distracted, though 4 more days of work sounds depressing 😂

@VP91x I think it sounds like a good idea. And knowing you have tests might make the month all the more relaxed and you never know...🤞🏼

No not too much longer now. I keep thinking I’ll have some sign AF is coming before then but that’s my downward slope on the coaster of emotions. Just need this week to pick up in pace

VP91x · 29/06/2020 18:26

@MichT4 @SmileyT thank you ❤️ just had a chat with OH and we have decided to postpone with the clinic for a month and try again this month whilst waiting for the appt from the GP. I'm going to give the soy a go to see if it brings forward ovu and its meant to help with the egg quality too. If no joy and the appt is going to take ages then I'll do the tests next cycle with the clinic. I think it hopefully is the best of both worlds?

@SmileyT I love that you sent the emails and then shut it all off. That's the right way to do it! Any nice evening plans?

@MichT4 ooh I hope they are positive twinges. As you said so many things are similar. Really not long until you test xxx

Northernsoul90 · 29/06/2020 18:25

@MichT4 It really is a nightmare. I agree try not to overthink any symptoms and put it to the back of your mind (although that’s near impossible). Cycles can be so unpredictable and confusing 😫

MichT4 · 29/06/2020 18:16

@northernsoul90 usually 13 days but that’s from an app pre tracking ovulation, so I don’t actually know I suppose.
Symptom spotting is a nightmare. I can’t help it either but so many are so similar to pre AF that I’m really trying to ignore anything. I’ll know either way in a few days, unless my body takes on the same cruel trick and I have another week delay!

Northernsoul90 · 29/06/2020 18:10

@MichT4 I know symptom spotting is a nightmare and I don’t know about you but I just can’t help it! I feel like I’m going mad and convincing myself of things. To me that does sound more like possible implantation twinges but I don’t want to make you overthink things more! Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 How long is your LF normally? I had several cycles when I was ttc last time and it was like my body was teasing me on purpose I’d be late for over a week then af would arrive xxx

Hayleylou89 · 29/06/2020 17:58

Aww thanks for all the lovely comments they mean alot, i cnt wait for a good sleep tonight!

I wondered does anyone want to buy my ava bracelet before i list it on ebay again. was £80 including postage. Its the first edition, its in the box and it just arrived when i was already pregnant 🤦🏽‍♀️ xx

MichT4 · 29/06/2020 17:50

@northernsoul90, shockingly, CD36 but I ovulated late on CD27 so only 9DPO.
I don’t know, don’t know what to look for. I’d say it was more twinge than a cramp and it was possibly more on one side.
Very tricky to distinguish without getting my symptom spotter badge on

Northernsoul90 · 29/06/2020 17:49

@Jazper I also want to start temping soon, I have just bought the femometer which I need to start with. I’ve been waiting for a negative test post mc as soon as I have that I will be doing opks as well. Do you use opks? Temping sounds quite confusing to me atm but hoping I get the hang of it! 🤣

Northernsoul90 · 29/06/2020 17:46

@MichT4 what cycle day are you? Could it be implantation? I’m almost certain I felt it with last pregnancy it felt almost like a pinching style cramp more to one side. X

MichT4 · 29/06/2020 17:34

I keep thinking I feel crampy twinges 😭 not sure if I’m imagining it or not. Would be a really short LP if AF is on her way

MichT4 · 29/06/2020 17:33

😂😂😂 @SmileyT I love your style. On your way home now then?

SmileyT · 29/06/2020 17:07

@Wishingfornumber2 hey hey really gave me joy, isn't it always the simplest things that pick us up 😂

@VP91x definitely go private this week if you can and follow up on the NHS as long as it doesn't mean loads of months off ttc, so glad the GP is being useful feel like they can be such a mixed bag. Also could they be slightly different tests checking for the issues with spotting? x

@2020wish sounds like you've got a good plan for staying chilled about the whole process and glad OH is rearing to go 😈

@MichT4 I sent a couple of emails off to my difficult clients at 4.45 and then turned my computer/ work phone and notifications on my personal phone off - they will not ruin my decent Monday 😂

@Jazper can definitely still temp I often wake up in the early hours and my OH works shifts so comes in at random times of the night or really early before I get up and still find that I can see my temp pattern (apart from when I got really drunk 🙈) I'd definitely give it a go xx

MichT4 · 29/06/2020 17:06

@VP91x I think I said before, my only concern with private is that if they recommend anything additional, it’s more money, and you then couldn’t start nhs from there - you’d have to start again. So temptation would be to get the appointment with the nhs.
From experience, they can be really quick with stuff, though of course the current times are different. From the sounds of your message, you are open to the both, so I’d say try another cycle and wait for the nhs. It might be here before you know it and you’ve also saved money. It depends where you’re head is at, £550 isn’t a lot of you’re at the point of needing peace of mind, but for the sake of a month, it’s a lot of you can wait.
Plus, you’re now CD1 anyway.....won’t be long til you’re POAS anyway

VP91x · 29/06/2020 16:55

Forgot to say the money isn't too much of an issue but would rather not have to spend it if that makes sense 😂 its come out of the decorating fund which in the grand scheme of things isn't that important xx

VP91x · 29/06/2020 16:54

@Jazper @Northernsoul90 @HE88 @mrsssk @MichT4
Thanks ladies ❤️ I'm so undecided!! Do I try for one more cycle whilst waiting for the appt? I would take soy isoflavones to bring forward ovulation hopefully and cheapies/temp to see if I've ovulated or do I go and get the tests and miss this cycle trying because of it.

@mrsssk no nothing concrete she said that they would do more bloods once the US had been done! How is yours? Is it getting any better?

@Jazper I think if you get extra hot if your little one comes in the bed then it might cause random spikes but you should still get a general pattern. You could get the femometer one which is £10 and give it a go? Xx

@2020wish glad you are okay ❤️ that sounds like a good relaxed month xx

OP posts:
Jazper · 29/06/2020 16:34

Right, I'm 4dpo and I've got niggly af pains 😩 got to assume she going to arrive and make plans for next cycle. Can someone talk to me about temping. I need to know if I'm actually ovulating, I just don't know if temping will be right for me. One of my children regularly comes in to our bed at irregular times during the night. It doesn't always wake me, but does disrupt my sleep in some capacity as the bed is only a double and I get super hot in the middle! 🥵
Is temping just a no go for me?
It's not every night, but often...

Jazper · 29/06/2020 16:29

I would keep the private tests too @VP91x as I doubt the NHS will be as 'thorough'. Not initially anyway.

MichT4 · 29/06/2020 16:17

@VP91x I agree, it depends on funds. If you can afford to do it, I would go private. And then I'd probably go NHS aswell 😂😂

It is great your GP has done that. Although when I called she said she would see me in September, which would be 6 months for me also. That was forced though!
What did she suggest about the hair?

@SmileyT McDs always a nice treat. Fingers crossed it's a quiet day and you get to leave on time.
