I've had a lot of stress with work and just life, actually. As I'm sure we all have. I've gone to my GP and I am having cognitive behavioural therapy. My issue at the moment is perspective. Everything just blows up and I can't handle things.

Even though people may say you have to be stable to have a baby (I am), I actually think that a child will bring some perspective when I love this little person. And realise my little person is more important than anything.

Anyway, my own stress and the stress that being disappointed and tracking etc (although the fertile window does need to be tracked) was doing me no favours!

Maybe this new TTC thread will be a chilled one and we won't be stressing in the TWW? Let's try and tell ourselves that haha! Even if in reality that doesn't actually happen!

SaraVB · 18/06/2020 12:27

@Daffodil21 Yes I know what you mean, I said the same thing last month but I'm feeling a bit differently this time. And honestly just going to give myself a break. If I want a coffee or a glass of wine I'm not going to beat myself up about it. No more crazy online research and I'm only really following this thread.

Daffodil21 · 18/06/2020 12:12

I'm also in the chilling the f* out boat! Just hoping that lasts in the TWW - easy to say now 😂

@Dreaming101 oh no that must be hard, as you would be getting hopes up I suppose. Good you are acting on it though!

Dreaming101 · 18/06/2020 12:05

@LennyAndToots @SaraVB I’m the same as you both.. getting way to stressed/focussed on TTC when in reality it’s only been since March. I assumed it would be easy to conceive..
I have however booked in for blood tests in July as I’ve been two months now without AF but BFN’s!

LennyAndToots · 18/06/2020 11:54

@SaraVB nice to know we are both taking a relaxed approach. Yeah I suppose we can't put everything on hold.

I feel like if Covid hadn't have happened, we wouldn't be thinking about delays as trips etc would have happened and baby making would have been the main focus!

But if it is the main focus then it brings you down too... as it can be a long journey.

SaraVB · 18/06/2020 10:55

@LennyAndToots Mine are always horrible. As if it isn't disappointing enough when AF shows up!!

SaraVB · 18/06/2020 10:53

Hi @LennyAndToots I'm feeling pretty much the same. I realised I was getting a bit carried away with things and getting too upset about something that isn't really a problem right now.

So I decided that this month I'm going to try to relax and try not to overthink everything.

I have a couple of trips planned in the next few weeks too but not going to put anything on hold. I'm just thinking if it happens it happens and I'll just deal with it then!

LennyAndToots · 18/06/2020 08:55

I also had the worst period pain I have ever experienced when AF arrived which made me a bit worried!

LennyAndToots · 18/06/2020 08:53

Thank you for tagging me in this group.

I've been a bit quiet recently. After getting AF I didn't really know how to feel about things - I don't know, I just assumed it was easy to get pregnant and it's not!

I may have a trip to Snowdon planned for next month so depending on what happens there I may leave TTC for another month.. but then at the same time, this can be a long old journey to getting pregnant so not sure! I think for me this is a month of just not pressuring myself and if it happens it happens.

How is everyone?

Great to hear about the BFPs! So happy for you all!

SaraVB · 18/06/2020 08:38

Hi everyone. It's been a while since I posted. I took a little break during AF but now ready to get back to it! Started using my cheap opks this week. My instructions say not to do them first thing in the morning, so the only option with work is to do them at about 7-8pm. I hope they're still able to give an accurate result. So far only faint lines on them so I think this means that they're negative. I should be coming up to FW in a few days so I'm hoping the lines start to get darker!

Congrats to everyone who got their BFPs! Really happy for you and great that you've stayed on here! Let's hope for a few more this month!

Summertime1992 · 17/06/2020 22:52

Thanks for tagging me in the new thread. I have my fingers crossed for everyone to get their BFP soon !!.

Th197 · 17/06/2020 22:22

@daffodil21 you are in my thoughts. I haven't experienced trying for long yet, but I can only imagine how hard it's been! I really hope you get your BFP sooner rather later! ❤️

Daffodil21 · 17/06/2020 22:18

@Th197 this is the last month I'll be using them anyway so happy to use them up!ditching everything next month, been trying for a while now and fed up of trying so hard!

@Dreaming101 ah that's interesting, and also makes sense

Th197 · 17/06/2020 22:15

@daffodil21, awk no don't be wasting tests! Thank you though! Wish I never did that other test now!

@dreaming101 I'll be hoping it's that! I'll be dtd more regular now this week! 🤣🤣 DP will be pleased about that part anyway!

First month tracking my cycle. So thanks for the help ladies xx

Dreaming101 · 17/06/2020 22:09

So is* not sonos🙈

Dreaming101 · 17/06/2020 22:09

@Th197 I had this last month, I’ve read that If you get more than one lh peak it can be that your body didn’t release an egg Sonos trying again. Maybe your levels are remaining high as your body is waiting to try again?xxx

Daffodil21 · 17/06/2020 22:01

@Th197 maybe it's your LH hormone decreasing again? I've never tested after a static smiley but I will this month and let you know what it does. I won't get a static for another 5 days or so though..

OP posts:
Th197 · 17/06/2020 21:44

Done another test.. still a flashing smiley.. 😭not sure what to do now. Suppose wait and see when AF will show.

Th197 · 17/06/2020 21:25

@daffodil21 I was on the implant for 4 years. So during that time I never had a regular period. I came off it in January had my first period February and they have been pretty regular maybe few days out.

Just suppose I'll have to wait and see.. maybe do another test to see if the test was faulty. Just a wee bit disheartening.

Thank you for chatting about it ❤️

Daffodil21 · 17/06/2020 21:18

@Th197 I'm not really sure tbh. I think it depends how severe it is? I suppose it could go unnoticed if it's mild. The only reason I said is because clear blue say their tests can be wrong if you have PCOS.. maybe it's just a faulty test? Very odd and frustrating for you anyway! I suppose if you dtd regularly enough then you should cover all bases, you just won't know when AF will arrive, unless you're regular anyway?

Th197 · 17/06/2020 21:04

Not too sure how to tag yet.

I already have a 6 year old DS. Would this have been spotted then or can I come all of a sudden?

I'm a wee bit thrown by this as I thought I was now in my TWW 😭

Daffodil21 · 17/06/2020 20:54

Welcome @Th197. I've never heard of this - do you have PCOS by any chance?

OP posts:
Th197 · 17/06/2020 20:53

Oh I thought MC WAS mucus.. I'm sorry I am new to this.

I'm so sorry I meant mucus not miscarriage xx

Th197 · 17/06/2020 20:51

Hey ladies.

Hope it's ok to join in this new thread. I got a static smiley face on Saturday. Although I had egg white like MC today so I did another one. Its now came up with a flashing smiley face.

Can anyone help me with this, don't know what's going on 😭
