@Daffodil21 @Dreaming101 think I will as I have soar nips , cramps and feeling sick for over a week now it's getting on my nerves a little X

ALew15 · 23/06/2020 12:04

@Th197 oh I don't know then. That date sounds like it is closer to 'predicted' O but everyone is different so hard to say. I think the digital tests might only be effective if you take them regularly? Just from what I've read, but I'm pretty new to them too.

Th197 · 23/06/2020 11:56

@Alew15

Sorry I should have said, I previously wrote a week or so ago, I got a static smiley on 13th of June.. (this was my first day I even done a test) but a few days later I got ew mucus so I decided to do another test and have had flashing smileys since then. Sorry I should have said that 🤦🏻‍♀️

So I'm so confused as to what is going on.

ALew15 · 23/06/2020 11:48

@Th197 if you're on CD26 and been having 7 days of flashing smileys I think you may have started testing a bit late (CD19?) and missed your O? Only thing I can think of. Have you been DTD regular? If so you may have caught it anyway.
I'm on my 7th day of flashing smileys and I'm on CD13. I started testing early though on CD5.

Dreaming101 · 23/06/2020 11:36

@hampshirerose34 I can’t see anything on there just yet but as @Daffodil21 that doesn’t means it’s not there!
Maybe try a digital one or test again in a few days time? Xx

Th197 · 23/06/2020 11:12

Hey ladies..

So it's been flashing 7 days.. i came off the implant in January and with that I never had a regular period as can be expected with that. I had a AF in Feb and it's continued until now coming quite regularly. Cycles usually last between 28-34 days so I'm hoping that's regular quite new to having an AF as I was on implant for 4 years. Was hoping to have a static by now as according to my app my AF is due on Saturday.

Hope this makes sense a bit.

Daffodil21 · 23/06/2020 11:00

@Th197 sorry I misread your post a bit - it sounds like you have regular cycles? When did you start using the OPKs from?

Daffodil21 · 23/06/2020 10:59

@Th197 welcome. I'm on CD21 and no smiley face yet (I'm using the pink CBS so I won't get a flashing, just straight to static). Mine varies month to month from about CD17 to CD23, I just checked my app and I ovulated on CD27 once. Do you normally vary? It's very annoying. I'm getting very fed up seeing the blank screen now, and I just had to buy some more for this cycle, even though I bought a box of 20.

@hampshirerose34 I personally can't see anything on the photo, but when I have had genuine faint positives before they were very hard to pick up on the camera. Fingers crossed for you

ALew15 · 23/06/2020 10:59

@Th197 how many days have you had the flashing for?

Th197 · 23/06/2020 10:51

Hey ladies, just looking some advice.. I am currently on CD 26 and still getting flashing smileys.. my AF is due on Saturday I doubt very much I am going to get a static smiley.

From any of your experiences is it possible to ovulate so late in a cycle?

I'm so confused as it is my first month using the CB OPK.

hampshirerose34 · 23/06/2020 10:38

Took a test this morning I have no idea , though I could see the faintest line. Don't know if I am getting myself bang at it. I will prob get AF tommrow now just my luck.

@Mrskcam sorry you got your AF x

Sorry @Mrskcam be kind to yourself today. We're here if you need Thanks

SaraVB · 23/06/2020 09:05

@ALew15 oh that's really good. I didn't have time to order the CB yesterday. Will try to do it today. At least the crappy opks gave a slightly darker result yesterday (although still quite faint). According to my apps mine should be sometime around the weekend as well.

I guess if you're DTD every other day the opks are more for peace of mind than anything else cos you should be pretty much covered. Trying to do the same and just found out that we have even more people joining on the dreaded weekend away hahaha

Dreaming101 · 23/06/2020 09:04

@Mrskcam sorry she got you this month, have a few days now and take it easy ready for next month! Xxx

ALew15 · 23/06/2020 08:59

@SaraVB I'm getting a replacement box sent out ASAP. Pretty pleased with that.
Another flashy smiley this morning. Apps (FLO & Ovia) both saying I should be coming into my peak around now. I'm going to test until Friday and then I'll give up. I'll have used a box of 10 and DTD every other day, can't do much more.

SaraVB · 23/06/2020 08:43

@ALew15 Not at all your fault.I wouldn't think to check either to be honest.. if he doesn't refund you I'm sure you can make a complaint.

@Mrskcam Sorry to hear that... we're here if you need to chat x

Mrskcam · 23/06/2020 07:56

Hi guys I'm out this month AF came for me this morning

ALew15 · 22/06/2020 18:38

@SaraVB I've emailed the seller. Hoping for a partial refund(ordered 2 boxes, one was in date) or at least a replacement box. How bad is that. Silly me for not checking sooner. I did a quick google(!) it said they may not be reliable. Might explain my 400 flashies

SaraVB · 22/06/2020 18:08

@ALew15 oh wow that's annoying.. maybe you can complain to the seller? Or get a refund through the platform itself? It's not that far past the expiry, I'm sure it takes some time to stop working as effectively...

ALew15 · 22/06/2020 17:36

@acaciabluebell we haven't used lube before either as hasn't been needed. I thought it felt very slippery. Just asked DH if he noticed any difference as I hadn't told him I'd used it and he said the same. He liked it.

ALew15 · 22/06/2020 17:31

I've just realised that a box of the CB OPKs I ordered are dated 31/12/2019!!!! I haven't long received them in the post. Would this affect the results? I'm not happy

acaciabluebell · 22/06/2020 17:28

To those who use preseed... Does it work like normal lube? TMI warning we've never used any lube before because everything is always erm, well lubricated, but I don't want things to get too slippery, because then it takes too long for DH to finish and he gets too tired.... LOL this is such a tmi comment 😂😂😂

Dreaming101 · 22/06/2020 16:02

@ALew15 I’m not too sure if I’m honest🙈 the dr said she was going to check my FSH when she does my bloods in July.

I came off the pill mid March and had my withdrawal bleed and then my first natural one in April. But no period since then.. I’ve missed two now but negative pregnancy tests .. it’s stressing me out 😞🙈

ALew15 · 22/06/2020 15:54

@Dreaming101 what are those? What have your cycles been like? Mine are shorter and af only been lasting couple of days max

Daffodil21 · 22/06/2020 15:54

@Dreaming101 I use pre-seed and conceive plus (not together). If I want it to feel a little more spontaneous (obviously it's not spontaneous at all!) then I just use the conceive plus, but most of the time I just use pre-seed. (Well Tesco equivalent atm but got the proper stuff ready for when we run out).

I've just had to order another pack of OPKs as apparently a box of 20 wasn't enough. Getting a little fed up now
