@ALew15 I think tonight would be good if you can... maybe go for it now instead of in bed?! Maybe he could take a cool shower first...? You might be kicking yourself in the TWW if you don't. But at the same time yesterday is still good, and probably enough, and if you have to force it then it's not going to do either of you any favours...

@Bam27 you might be more fertile afterwards... I was. Still shitty for you though Thanks I always find the bit between AF and ovulation easier too - it feels like you have some control over things. Although I still haven't had a bloody smiley face so beginning to wonder if I'm going ovulate this month...

ALew15 · 24/06/2020 19:38

Do you think it will matter if we don't DTD tonight? Static smiley last night and we DTD then. It's so hot and I have a feeling DH will not be up for it. He gets so agitated when it's warm in bed.

Bam27 · 24/06/2020 18:05

@Daffodil21 I'm okay thank you 😊 I'm in the stage between AF and ovulation and I always find this part of my cycle much easier. Although I'm sad about it, I'm trying to take the positive from the early miscarriage, that I can actually fall pregnant. My biggest fear before ttc was that I wouldn't be able to fall because of endometriosis. Now I feel like it is possible. Still thinking about whether I want to try OPKs or not, but I just know I will get obsessed and feel like it might just cause stress.
How are you doing?
@Summertime1992 Thank you, that is reassuring if yours lasted 5 days too. Thought maybe my body was trying to ovulate and couldn't and that's why it lasted so long. Think I'm just being paranoid and thinking to much into everything. Glad to see your feeling well.

hampshirerose34 · 24/06/2020 17:31

@Dreaming101 found it 😃👍🏻 x

Summertime1992 · 24/06/2020 17:29

@Bam27 I tracked mine last cycle I had one day of watery discharge followed by 5 days of EWCD then after a few days started getting creamy white discharge. Hope that helps :)

Hope everyone is keeping well and good luck for this cycle.

I still dont feel pregnant yet although have been having a cat nap in the afternoon at work all this week and getting up in the night to wee. I have my booking in appointment on 10th July so that may make it feel more real.

hampshirerose34 · 24/06/2020 14:28

@Dreaming101 is that on insta ? Wanna have a look 👀

@Daffodil21 since September it makes me feel so sick and I also take inositolwith it too

Dreaming101 · 24/06/2020 14:26

@Daffodil21 just followed you back I’ll message you now, I’ll out myself back 😂
No one knows about us TTC apart from my husbands sister!

Aw thank you, it’s a little home but enough for us for now!

Daffodil21 · 24/06/2020 13:57

@Dreaming101 I've totally just outed myself by following you but never mind 😂 everyone who matters know we're TTC anyway (except my boss, but I hardly think he's spending his time on mumsnet!) your home looks lovely!

How frustrating and difficult for you @hampshirerose34 congrats on the weight loss though! How long have you been on metamorfin for?

@Bam27 nice to hear from you. Hope you're doing ok? I don't track EWCM so no help

OP posts:
Dreaming101 · 24/06/2020 13:37

@ALew15 @Daffodil21 aw that’s okay, I don’t have anything personal on there it’s an open account. It’s @ ourmordenhome

I’m not sure if anyone has tried a herbalist and I may sound so crazy but a friend of mine went to one after having really irregular periods after the pill. They gave her a remedy and she caught within 3 months. I am going to speak to her once I’ve had my blood tests!

Bam27 · 24/06/2020 13:36

Does anyone else track cm? If you do, how long do you have ewcm for? .. I get ewcm for at least 5 days sometimes over a week, is that normal? When I've looked online it always days three days before ovulation.

I've been quiet but have been reading all the comments daily. Hope you are all okay. Seems I'm not the only one with messed up cycles, mine vary from 28-42 days.

hampshirerose34 · 24/06/2020 13:30

@Daffodil21 it has been a long road . I was diagnosed with PCOS last September they put me on metformin. And now getting sent to fertility clinic have already been told I am not eligible for IVF because I will be 35 in August and because of my weight. I have been doing the Keto diet since April lost 1st. They think that just metformin will do the trick at the moment.

Daffodil21 · 24/06/2020 13:14

@Dreaming101 I was also going to ask what your account was but then thought you might want to keep a little more anonymous..! But if you're happy to share...! My DH suggested we did a house insta too, but we never got around to it!

@Tofu35 yeah I only worked in the office for 5 weeks! Saving 2 hours driving per day by wfh!

@hampshirerose34 4 years? Wow you must be going insane. 19 months here and I have definitely already lost the plot. Have you had any tests done? We are now with a fertility clinic but they won't even think of IVF until next September because if you've been pregnant before it has to be 2 years since (not a successful pregnancy). So on we go. We are looking at adoption now but we recently moved to Scotland and we have to have lived her for a year before we can apply, which takes us to January 😒

@ALew15 that's all you can do really. I was the same - I had set myself that 43 day goal before I would even think about testing. I had no idea when I ovulated. Ended up testing early though as I was peeing for England!

This is a screenshot of my app using those tests.

SaraVB · 24/06/2020 12:54

@acaciabluebell I haven't tried doing those tests earlier on.. I normally do mine at around 7-8pm but I've had really similar results to yours and I'm on CD16 now.. I would try different tests to be honest as I think these are making us worry for nothing!

acaciabluebell · 24/06/2020 12:39

@SaraVB I normally did them around 4pm/5pm ish, sometimes then again at 8/9pm. Today I did it at 10:30am cos I was annoyed lol and there was at a tiny faint line, which is better than before.

SaraVB · 24/06/2020 12:38

Sorry realised i missed an entire page of the thread when I wrote my last message hahaha

ALew15 · 24/06/2020 12:35

@Dreaming101 I follow so many home renovation pages on insta, I love it! What is yours called?

@Daffodil21 cycles vary from 30/25/26 days. Yeah next month I think I will cut out OPKs, DTD regular throughout cycle and and test if AF doesn't come after 30 days. I only found out I was pregnant last year because my period was about a week late. I need to be that chilled person again.

SaraVB · 24/06/2020 12:33

Great news @ALew15 and @Th197! I've ordered the CB digital opks and in the meantime I've managed to find some better quality OPKs
at the pharmacy near my house (still not digital). I tried doing the test a little earlier in the day today instead of after work. It was a little bit awkward getting there with the test and little cup unnoticed but at least I got a decent line this time!

Hi @Tofu35 welcome to the thread :) Sorry not much help with the opks this is my first month using them and haven't tried the CB yet.

@acaciabluebell not sure if you mentioned already but at what time are you doing the opks? I wouldn't worry too much just yet.. the apps are just an indication My doctor said that it's perfectly normal to ovulate quite a few days after CD14 even if you have a normal length cycle.

hampshirerose34 · 24/06/2020 12:27

My sis in law is 12 weeks along and they had only been trying for 2 weeks I could not believe it how do people get so lucky ? 4 years I have been trying and nothing. I think COVID hasn't helped DH got the corona in March was so Poorly for 3 weeks I am worried it has affected his swimmers. I am just gonna put my symptoms down to hormones because of the meds.

Tofu35 · 24/06/2020 12:19

@Daffodil21 currently trying to plan around FW but after reading the posts here, I may rethink this and start DTD throughout cycle. Good luck with your kitchen project!
I think wfh definitely extends the amount of time you can count yourself as new, until you can complain about the commute or about the funny smelly in the communal microwave, you're a shiny new worker.

Dreaming101 · 24/06/2020 11:54

@Daffodil21love home renovation projects! Hubby and I bought a new build last year and still seem t be changing everything and anything!! I have a home insta account and it’s such a lovely little online community of people doing their own projects!
