@acaciabluebell you go girl there is no way I could do it much! We try every 3 and I get fed up with that. X

acaciabluebell · 26/06/2020 22:19

Gosh I am so happy it's getting cooler over the next few days! Hubby and I have dtd almost every day so far this cycle. But it's CD15 and with no ovulation in sight, it's getting a bit annoying and I feel like we will just have to keep at it every other day until we get sick of each other 😂

hampshirerose34 · 26/06/2020 14:00

It has been fire the last tonight too hot for DTD ! Hope everyone is ok xx

ALew15 · 26/06/2020 12:42

@Tofu35 we said the same. Need to invest in a fan!

@Dreaming101 we would have to book the flights now. They're looking at a large apartment so depends on if we come which one they go for. I'm also a nervous flyer and like to have a couple of drinks & diazepam before I get on the plane 🤣 we'll see what happens in the next month.

Dreaming101 · 26/06/2020 11:43

@ALew15 my hubby and I have booked a holiday for the end of April. I was chatting with my sister in law and she said not to put our lives on hold for ifs and ands pots and pans😞. Could you book it via a deposit only? X

Daffodil21 · 26/06/2020 11:23

Thanks @Dreaming101 that's good to know. Hopefully I will still ovulate this month then but losing a lot of hope!

Yesterday I had a peak day in 30 degree heat, there must be a word for that.

I think DH will be investigating buying an electric fan for next month, it is too warm!

Dreaming101 · 26/06/2020 11:06

@Daffodil21 always a line there but can be very Very faint Xx

ALew15 · 26/06/2020 10:25

@Dreaming101 I was exactly the same. I turned over in a huff when he didn't fancy it. His response of 'uhhhh fine' wasn't really doing it for me and I didn't want another argument at bed time 😂

Amazon knows everyone is going baby making mad!

Still haven't booked onto that trip to Madrid DH's sisters are planning. They've moved the date forward now to 27th March.. would be around the date I'd be due if we did get pregs so still in limbo about booking on atm.

Daffodil21 · 26/06/2020 10:13

@ALew15 I actually have deleted MN before (before this group), but I just ended up reinstalling it 🙈

OP posts:
Daffodil21 · 26/06/2020 10:12

@ALew15 I'm not either. I've been the same, especially as I still haven't had a fucking smiley. Glad your DH is getting better - I can't relate to the heat I'm afraid being in Scotland 😂

@Dreaming101 Do you have a second one the whole time before your peak, or when you're getting to your peak? Completely natural to feel like that if you don't dtd when you feel you should!

OP posts:
Dreaming101 · 26/06/2020 10:06

@Daffodil21 I always have faint lines on the CB ones leading up to my peak.

@ALew15 me and my hubby am have been the same, I was in a bit of a grump the other day as we didn’t DTD for three days as he was feeling a bit unwell🙈 selfish I know but I was a bit miffed...

Thank you for posting about the CB’s on Amazon I’ve just ordered some of the purple ones!! Can’t believe they are marked up as £50 for 20 usually 😶😶

ALew15 · 26/06/2020 09:51

@Daffodil21 we've already had many chats! To be fair, he's so much better this month. I can totally blame the heat though, it wiped us both out.
Definitely sticking to the pact. I'm not buying any OPKs. They consumed me this month. First thing I thought of when I woke up in the morning and it set my mood for the day. Can't go through that again. I've considered deleting all apps/MN from my phone too.

We should start a new thread 'The angry impatient TTC Group' 😂

Daffodil21 · 26/06/2020 09:38

@ALew15 don't forget our pact!!!!!

OP posts:
Daffodil21 · 26/06/2020 09:38

@ALew15 I've just checked and all 23 (yes, 23) of mine have a faint second line and they aren't getting darker. Think that's me out for the month, I don't think I'm going to ovulate.

Sounds like you did it on the most important day, but yes very frustrating. Maybe you need to have a chat with your DH? We went through a stage of not dtd regularly enough and I remember losing my shit once, throwing my Ava tracker at him saying 'this isn't going to get me pregnant you know! We need to have sex too!' Like a crazy lady 😂 now he is much much better and just knows we need to dtd every other day. That's probably because he's getting as impatient as me too..! (Absolutely would not recommend the Avas btw).

I am fed up to be honest. I even tried fertility yoga yesterday, which I actually did find relaxing and did help, but I'm too annoyed to do it today. I don't think I can stand listening to the stupid affirmations

Just saw on another thread that CB OPKS (blue) are £16 for 20 on Amazon atm. And the pink ones at £8! Bargain

ALew15 · 26/06/2020 09:07

Morning everyone.

@Daffodil21 I seem to remember a very faint line on my earlier tests. I think they then got darker each day until the 'Peak' was darker than the control.

How are you getting on?
I'm feeling a bit miffed. We DTD the evening of my static and haven't since. The weather has been far too hot, DH even slept in the spare room last night because it's cooler than our bedroom. Feeling like we've missed our chance again. Same thing happened last month.

Daffodil21 · 26/06/2020 08:47

Morning ladies, I've got an ovulation test question:

When you're not yet ovulating, do you see a second line on the stick when you eject it? I still haven't got a smiley face on CD24 but there's always been a faint second line on the stick

Hope everyone is doing ok

hampshirerose34 · 25/06/2020 14:20

@SaraVB thank you I hope so xx

@Dreaming101 god that's torture ! I hope I don't have to wait that long x

Dreaming101 · 25/06/2020 13:55

@hampshirerose34 a friend of mine didn’t get a BFP until 7-8 weeks gone! Xx

SaraVB · 25/06/2020 09:58

@hampshirerose34 I know the feeling! Still a few days away though so there's a good chance that it's too early to get a positive result yet.. Keeping my fingers crossed for BFP in a few days x

hampshirerose34 · 24/06/2020 21:45

@Daffodil21 I have 8 days until my AF just frustrated at the moment I am getting on my own nerves x

Daffodil21 · 24/06/2020 20:58

@Bam27 I don't use OKPs every month, but every month I've used them I've ovulated. I'm the same with you on cm.

@hampshirerose34 do you have a clearer pic of the top test? I can slightly see a line on that one but it doesn't look in the middle so I'm not sure it would be valid? When is AF due?

OP posts:
Bam27 · 24/06/2020 20:51

@hampshirerose34 I'm sorry I can't see anything. The picture is coming up very small on my phone though so it's really hard to tell.

Bam27 · 24/06/2020 20:47

@Daffodil21 I hope so, I have heard that before. Yeah that and the fact that there is no symptom spotting and I treat myself to couple of gins because its the only time you can be certain your not pregnant. Oh, hopefully you get that smiley face soon! Do you normally ovulate every month? I would love to know when I ovulate but don't think I can commit to OPKs tried tracking my bbt once and gave up after about a week 😂 I don't purposefully track cm is just so happens that I notice it, but not sure how reliable that is as a method of tracking ovulation though.
