Thanks @Daffodil21 you're so right. Regardless of everything I find myself desperately googling everything trying to cling to hope, even though I know this will make things worse for me when AF inevitably comes.

I've had pink/orange spotting on and off today. Very light pink/orange and only when I wipe. I haven't had spotting like this for a good few 5-6months, but pre-TTC it was definitely normal for me to get a full day (sometimes 2-3 days!) of spotting before AF. It's just since starting TTC every little thing gets overanalysed, especially anything different!

So this past cycle I wasn't tracking, DH and I were just dtd casually and as regularly as we can. If AF arrives tomorrow then calculating backwards, that means DH and I dtd on ovulation day and all 3 days before it. It's so frustrating when you time everything perfectly and nothing happens!

@bramleyapples13 not officially as such unless you're far enough on that the early pregnancy unit will see you... But I got two BFP on the day my period was due and the day after.. And then the day after that I started bleeding, totally differently to a normal period and then I got a negative test after that and again a week later (EPU told me when I should retest). The EPU said it was almost certain that I'd had a chemical pregnancy but unless you're at least 6 weeks pregnant they don't see you as they can't detect a heartbeat before then anyway

@Welliedays how did you find out it was a chemical? Is there a way to tell?

@acaciabluebell yep, I totally get they aren't 100% accurate so I can't be sure! It is always pretty good on my AF prediction, but then I have built up about 2 years of period tracking on it...nur I know that doesn't equate to accurate ov date as I don't know what my luteal phase is!! And thank you @daffodil21, after last months chemical I'm not getting any hopes up!! It's not usual AF for me as I never normally get spotting beforehand, I'd get a bit less as an early warning system, but within and hour or two it would be fully, very heavy flow... but that said, after my chemical any thing is possible!

@Welliedays if you're truly 8dpo (apps are not always accurate) then it could very well be an implantation bleed!

So I've just been to the loo and wiped some really watery pinky coloured blood... I would say I know that's TMI to anyone but you lot 😂 Nothing in the toilet and not like my usual start of a period (which would be much thicker, darker and appear in the toilet, not just when I wipe) which in any case would be way early, even for me - I average 26 day cycles and today is cd21. I wonder if it could be the start though bearing in mind I had a chemical last month so my cycle might be out... And I'm just counting cd1 as the first day of the bleed 🤷🏼‍♀️ my tummy to the right of my belly button has had a dull ache all afternoon but I'd say its too high for period pain,but is otherwise relatively similar in the fact its quite annoying! According to my app I'm 8dpo but I have no idea how accurate it is... Or isn't 😂 so this could be me on the way out this month! I have calculated we've got two more attempts before we'll need a break though so I guess not all is lost!

AF is here. I'm out again. Onto cycle 5. Feel like I'm losing hope

@Daffodil21 I feel like 13dpo is a bit late for implantation bleeding, no? I had such strong cramps on 8/9dpo so thought that would have been implantation time. So I think is defo AF preparing to start

Just had some light pink spotting 😢 I normally spot red/dark brown so it's a bit weird. But I guess I'm definitely out now. Booooo

@acaciabluebell I'm not doing any now, but I just can't seem to get rid of the weight I gained. I had 3 months of zoladex injections twice so six months in total but on two different occasions. Its a drug that shuts down your ovaries for a while. What symptoms do you have?

@Daffodil21 don’t they say go to 9 flashing smileys before trying next month? So you’re not out yet and you may have just missed it or had a lower LH surge? 😊

@Bam27 thank you. I'm also legit worried I have endo lol maybe I'm just a serial worrier!! But with endo I do have some of the symptoms. I'm a bit too scared to see my GP about it because I'm scared of it being confirmed. What kind of hormone therapy are you doing?

@acaciabluebell sorry you got a negative and your feeling this way, hopefully you will know soon💐 I have also slipped into the overweight zone for my bmi. I've always been slim and healthy but I gained a lot of weight with hormone therapy for my endometriosis and now I can't budge it. I'm sure my metabolism has completely changed I only need to look at a cake now to gain a pound!

@Daffodil21 I think that the CB digital test is programmed to continue to flash until it detects peak lh. So it starts flashing when it detects a significant increase in estrogen and then continues to flash until lh surge. If you don't get an lh surge I think it just continues to flash. Last month mine flashed for 6 days. This month I got the blank circle twice and then static smiley, so I must have missed the increase in estrogen before this. I don't think it has a base level for how much estrogen will make the test flash, it will only detect the increase, this is why the first day you always get a blank circle because it is establishing your base level of estrogen. Sorry for long explanation just wanted to make sure I was explaining it properly 😂 did a lot of reading about how the tests work last month.

Another BFN on IC! Getting sick of peeing into a cup if I'm honest!

This morning I woke up feeling like AF had arrived, but was just CM.
AF is supposed to be arriving yesterday/today/tomorrow/I have no bloody idea. I'm on CD32 today. I hate this feeling of being in limbo because it's just taking over my mind and I'm supposed to be working from home but can't focus on work because I keep googling stuff. I don't even have any AF symptoms but I just wish I would have some clarity - a positive test or AF.

Part of me is worried that I've developed PCOS... I've never been as big/heavy as I am now - I was always healthy/average and my cycles were around 24 days long and regular. But in the past year I've gained a good 15kg this past year from a stressful new job and bad habits and now I'm overweight and I'm worried I've F'd everything up! I've never had cycles this long before. Urghhh. So annoyed

@Daffodil21 4 hours should be enough really... That's fair enough if you need a break from it. I've only been doing OPKs since last month. I loved knowing exactly when AF was due coz my cycle is so irregular it's hard to tell... In the morning the CB was negative but the cheap test had a dark line but not as dark as control line. I did both the cheap one and the CB at about 6pm that day and they were both positive. The next morning I did another cheapy and the line was really light.

@Daffodil21 I don't think that means your out for this month😊 think you could definitely still have an lh surge... Could you have possibly missed it, maybe urine too dilute? I've been doing cheapie along side the clearblue digital so I can see the line progression as well. I could have easily missed mine this month!

@Tofu35 - I think definitely for the next cycle I will test when the app recommends as hopefully it will be more accurate 👌

@intrigued2020, I've been doing temping for about 10 or 11 months, but took a while to get it right (soon as you wake up, under the tongue until it beeps). So my first few graphs were all over the place! It's been pretty accurate for me now, I try to time my clear blue ovulation tests with when the app tells me!
