Hey everyone,

Anyone else due AF around the start of July and just about to enter the TWW? I had a chemical last month but got right back to trying so keeping everything crossed for a positive result and a sticky one this time.

Just wondered if anyone wants to join me on the dreaded waiting game. Grin

Hi all, I am due on 3rd July, TTC second baby. Hope it’s ok to join!

Hopeful1712 · 18/06/2020 22:16

@Sqinky yeah I know what you mean, these is so much to think about. All those years at school we were told how easy it was to get pregnant! Turns out its not that easy! Xx

kate123cl · 18/06/2020 22:14

@HansBanans Ha, it is such hard work isn't itHmm night night lovely! X

HansBanans · 18/06/2020 22:10

@kate123cl I'll keep everything crossed for you! I feel like my egg was released this morning but DH is engrossed in his computer atm and I'm shattered so I think I'm done for this month! x

Night night ladies! x

kate123cl · 18/06/2020 22:03

Thank you @HansBanans ! I'm pretty sure my egg was released this afternoon so hopefully I'm in with a good shot! X

Sqinky · 18/06/2020 22:03

@Hopeful1712 it's really hard to know what's going on! I've been using Flo but I think it'll take a while for my cycles to settle. 4th cycle in and it's exhausting! I hope I'm not the only one who thinks it's emotionally draining? I feel deeply for ladies who wait years for their baba's xx

HansBanans · 18/06/2020 21:49

@kate123cl I think they say you usually O within 48 hours of your peak and then the egg can be viable for up to 24 hours after you O'd so it's worth a shot! x

kate123cl · 18/06/2020 21:43

Quick question ladies... I had a flashing smiley yesterday morning, a strong cheap test yesterday afternoon, a static smiley this morning and then a really dark cheap test around midday today. Just took another cheap one and it's quite faint! If I dtd now will I be in with a high chance? I know I've missed my actual 'peak' but can I still conceive from dtd tonight? X

kate123cl · 18/06/2020 21:27

@MooseyGoose90 I've used Poundland, Wilkinsons and Clear Blue Digital. The Poundland ones are quite good and Clear Blue were fab! X

Hopeful1712 · 18/06/2020 21:23

@sqinky its so hard to track. Do you use any of the apps? I have the Ovia one but have no idea if its true, guess I won’t really know until my cycle settles.
How long have you been TTC? Xx

MooseyGoose90 · 18/06/2020 21:21

Can anyone recommend good OPKs? I am tracking on Glow but would like to be more accurate

Also, I am taking folic acid daily, but does anyone recommend anything else?

murphs2 · 18/06/2020 21:19

Hi I'm jumping on this bandwagon too! I'm 38 TTC baby #3. I had a miscarriage at Christmas, so I'd say this is cycle 5. Due AF on 30th. I ovulate a bit early, this month day 11 or 12. This makes the TWW sooooo long!!!Confused
Sending good pregnant vibes to everyone. Let the symptom spotting begin! X

Sqinky · 18/06/2020 21:18

Hi girls, would you mind if I joined this thread please?

AF is due on 2nd of July judging by my app but I'm pretty convinced I ovulated a week earlier than expected going off CM. Came off the pill at the beginning of February and my cycles have been ALL OVER the place. 43 days, then 34 days then 40 days, now on CD 27. DTD every other day since CD 9 so I'm keeping everything crossed xx

MooseyGoose90 · 18/06/2020 21:17

@kate123cl thank you. Yes it is so difficult, but luckily this cycle he was home for 3 days in my fertile window.

After 15 years on the pill I thought TTC would be difficult anyway, but combined with trying to dtd at the right times it’s becoming a little stressful

Leobaby · 18/06/2020 21:05

@Hopeful1712 you’d be surprised how much you find everyone is alike on these forums! It’s mad lol. But yes fingers crossed, good luck xx

Hopeful1712 · 18/06/2020 21:03

@Leobaby I honestly thought I was the only person with this, but since being on forums this week it seems to be quite common and doesn't appear to affect TTC so fingers crossed. Xx

Hopeful1712 · 18/06/2020 21:01

@kate123cl really?! I’ve not heard that one, but will deffo be giving it a go.
I’m hoping that my cycle comes back to normal quickly, but a little worries after being on the depo for so long.
I think if I knew just how much there is to understand and the science behind it all, we might have started trying sooner. Always wanted children but now we are trying I just want one NOW! Ha!

Fingers crossed for us all on our journeys. Xx

Leobaby · 18/06/2020 21:00

*Tilted uterus sorry!

Leobaby · 18/06/2020 20:59

Hey @Hopeful1712 I have a tilted cervix myself, I’m not sure how long I’ve had it, they found it due to an examination. But I don’t think it affects TTC! X

kate123cl · 18/06/2020 20:56

@Leobaby I wish I had your mindset, so patient! I'm hoping it's good news for us all!x

@DawnLaura I'm thinking about testing a day or two before AF is due?! I'm not too sure, I'll probably end up testing earlier lol. Sorry to hear about your chemical x

@Hopeful1712 Hiya! I've not been diagnosed with tilted cervix but I'm 99.9% sure I have it! I was researching last night and apparently after dtd, if you have a tilted cervix then laying on your front shortly after can maximise your chances of conceptionGrinx

@MooseyGoose90 Hiya, must be hard with your partner away ttc! Fingers crossed it's your lucky month x

MooseyGoose90 · 18/06/2020 20:30

Hey all

Hope I’m ok to join. I am due AF 30th June. This is my 4th cycle. Struggling to DTD in my fertile window due to partner working away, but fingers crossed

Good luck all’

Hopeful1712 · 18/06/2020 20:23

Hi all,

I was hoping I could join this thread, i’ve spent a bit of time reading through it all and you all seem really supportive.

So i’m 30 and my OH (other half) is 39. I was on the depo injection for 8 years and recently changed to the pill in February this year - was starting to have issues with it. Recently been seen by a specialist and have found I have a tilted cervix - has anybody else had experience of this? Dr says it should be a problem but at the back of my mind I can’t help but worry.

Came off pill at the weekend (13 June), and have started taking Seven Seas Trying to Conceive. Currently on my withdrawal bleed, so hoping my cycle should come back after that. Due 29 June if it remains the same as before coming off the pill.

Just really looking for advice and to talk to people going through the same thing. I didn't realise there was so much to it before reading these posts!
Xx

HansBanans · 18/06/2020 20:12

@DawnLaura I've got my fingers crossed for you! I know, it's so hard. I say I'll try and wait 2 weeks but I know I'll probably be sneaking a couple of tests in on the days before AF is due haha x

DawnLaura · 18/06/2020 20:05

@HansBanans Good luck lovely. I don't think I could hold off for 2 weeks after AF date, I'm too impatient! But I'm also a little nervous in case my dates are off due to my chemical so might be "late" but not actually late lol, so I'm maybe better trying to hold off longer! x

@SweetDreams92 so sorry about your MMC x

@DawnLaura I think I O'd today, going to try super hard and wait until AF is 2 weeks late as last month was torture with that ridiculously long cycle and all it's BFNs Angry x
