TTC after MC - June 2020 (Part 3)

@Northernsoul90 yes I was told 4-6 weeks to expect a period after the MVA and to call them if tests were still positive after 3 weeks but I could tell they were getting more faint so I held on longer. It was only a strong positive on a 25mUI/ml cheap test on Tuesday that made me call them because I expected that to be negative! Hoping for a result of less than 20 from tomorrow’s blood test.

Just bear in mind if you are doing OPKs they will show up strong if hcg is still present as most OPKs can’t distinguish between LH and hcg. I did a few OPKs over the past few weeks and they’ve only just started showing negative now the hcg is dropping lower.

@SmileyT thank you! I have just had a spend on amazon - justifying this to myself as focusing on ttc is making me feel a bit more positive after mc. I’ve gone for the Cb opk, some cheapy ones and the femometer. I’ve also bought a ttc journal as I like to write things down hard copy too.

@littletandme I hope you don’t mind me tagging you but I’ve just been going back through the thread and noticed you have also had quite a recent MVA - I had mine done last Monday. Sorry for your loss . Glad the EPU are looking after you, I was quite naive about hcg levels prior to this and just presumed they would drop to 0 more or less straight away. Apparently though ovulation can still happen with detectable hcg in the system which I hadn’t realised - I’m hoping my period returns fairly soon! It’s positive that your period has returned!

@Renna ahh I really hope it isn't and they can put your mind at ease tomorrow that everything in there looks great 🙌🏾 one positive is that you haven't had it booked in for weeks and loads of time to stress, also stop googling whatever it is/ isn't the Drs will go through it with you tomorrow don't send your mind into overdrive tonight especially when you'll be sleep deprived by your little fur baby anyway xx

@HopeForRainbowbaby it said it would be here by 9pm at the latest. Even tho it was originally meant to be here at 4pm and at 3:30pm the live google map tracking showed me that the delivery van was a few streets away and only had 5 stops til he reached me. So dunno what has happened with it

@SmileyT no it's an internal one 🙁 and AF may arrive tomorrow... so that wont be nice if it does xx I'm now sat here googling intrauterine adhesions which is like scar tissue which occurs after surgery from MC and convinced that's what theyll tell me tomorrow and in can affect your fertility 😥😥 feel sick 😔 xx

@VP91x yeah he seems pretty switched into it now, also came down to a grapefruit/ pomegranate juice and about 10 pills to take 😂 I'm on the calc all cycle now every little helps right 🤷🏾‍♀️

@Northernsoul90 don't get me started on apps, I have them all - flo, femometer, glow (@MichT4 I blame you for me adding one) clue, CB, ovia, FF and premom 😂 tbh I'm not sure why as they literally just tell me the info I put in. I like the temp chart on Femometer, I like the fact that you get a chart of lh readings from opks on premom and I like FF because it charts my RHR against my BBT but tbh if you know when you ovulate then it's literally just a place to put in symptoms so you can see a pattern 👌🏾

@Eli2020 I'm so sorry, I don't know how I bypassed all that money!!! That's crazy. Can you even get the bloods and scan done first of all?

@Hayleylou89 thanks hun xx I dont think its gonna happen 😓 just felt my cervix and I think it's open... I'm not very good and detecting this but I think this is what it feels like when open ... I have given up with feeling CP/CM etc as not sure I know what I'm doing lol but I'm guessing what I'm feeling feels open .... which I would assume is not a good sign as if I was pg it would be closed I think ... 😓😓 did feel like it was all turning out the be good timing with an ultrasound tomorrow and fathers day Sunday . 😓 xx

@MichT4 thanks, I’ve heard a few good things about Glow think I will give it a try. I’m considering starting opks this weekend/early next week just trying to get prepared 🤞🏼

@VP91x it’s been an evening of things I’ve missed. Although OH moaned the whole way round HB so I didn’t get the full experience 😂 he moaned he was hungry too so like having a child, we tried mcds on the way back and there was no queue. I just say it’s not sitting well 😂 maybe stuffed it down too fast!

@northernsoul90, I use Glow and Femometer. I think I find Glow slightly better

@Bellabubble don’t lose hope yet! It’s so hard I find hearing that others are pregnant and it’s a horrible feeling because you are genuinely happy for them but can’t help but feel sad for yourself. My sister is currently pregnant and we were so excited to have babies at the same time, I can’t help but feel saddened when I see all the new baby things at her house etc but then I feel like an awful person.

Does anyone have any app recommendations? Last time when ttc with first pregnancy (mc at 9 weeks) i used the clear blue opks and the Flo app. I didn’t find it very accurate though as I knew when I was ovulating and the app was way off as I have longer cycles. Also considering trying temping this time!
