TTC after MC - June 2020 (Part 3)

Complete limbo on what to do ladies. I’m due back to work on Tuesday. I was off on shielding due to covid and pregnancy (my area of work was and still is a covid red zone ) . Shielding was then changed to miscarriage/stress 4 weeks ago. But now I don’t know what to do about either getting it extended or going back. Me and my Dh both agreed when I found out I was pregnant again I would take the first two months off to help make sure we do everything possible for a sticky bean. The idea of being in a red zone/exposed and basically boiling in full airborne PPE that I’ve to stay in for 2 hours at a time minimum- plus 13 hour shifts all day on feet and no proper breaks will just have my anxiety through the roof and added stress on me esp after 3 losses in a row. Obvs if I am not pregnant this month I will go back to work. But I dunno if I’m pregnant again yet. I don’t want to go back on Tuesday then have to take off again and it being counted at two periods of sick rather than 1 continuous. Any advice?

@VP91x I’m sure CB are out to confuse us this month! I haven’t been doing temps so that’s good you are because at least you have something else to go by. Ha ha I can so relate to giving the wrong food or the wrong cup etc 🤦‍♀️ X

@2020wish yes I got my peak OPK. But my temperatures have been a little all over the place so I’m hoping to see a peak in that now so it confirms I actually ovulated. A few days ago I thought I wasn’t ovulating as I’d had a ‘peak’ on Femometer a week or so ago, not as dark as this one though so hoping this is the real deal.

@vp91x they are out for delivery between 8 and 10 this morning. I’ve already when to the loo lol so I’m holding off until Sunday when I will be 13dpo

@MichT4 didn’t you get a 114 peak opk the other day? Was that not your peak? Sorry if I missed something. Head like a siv x

@chloedancer897 sorry do you mean whether I can get the bloods or scan first done privately or on the nhs? Currently thinking going privately could and paying myself is not an option as if only a zoom call with a consultant is £250 and this does not include any tests I'm petrified to think how much would that be. When I had my MC in March my EPU actually thoughts it's ectopic so I was able to use my private insurance to confirm that and then the bloods were £300 and the scan £600 (which i didn't pay as was covered) so that £900 will be on top on the consultant fee and then the £300 for the semen analysis and £500 for the female one. Just breaks my heart this is so expensive making it inaccessible to so many people and then we have no choice but to wait for who knows how long on the nhs 🙁 I just can't wait another 8,9 months (if they are counting my MC as the start of a year to get pregnant) to even get on a waiting list for investigations 🙁 makes me feel so helpless

@VP91x it’s been a long month 😂 I can’t believe I’m not even in the damn TWW after so long. Oh well, is what it is, this will all make sense soon I’m sure.

@VP91x my spikes are quite fast and short and I’m sure it’s possible u had it overnight . Only way you will know is if ur temps stay up for 3 days

My OPK is high, not hard 😂. Today is going to be hard

@VP91x you what!!? What is going on? When’s the next OPK? Maybe it’ll shoot up? Doesn’t explain the temperature though 🤔
Don’t know about the overnight thing, seems quick but then stranger things have happened!

I had a terrible night sleep. Surprised Ava synced anything as you need 4 hours and I got a whopping 4.39. Temp dropped 🙄 looked back on your chart and hoping that means ovulation day (would that mean it was yesterday or today if that was the case?). My OPK is still hard but not peak so would make sense.
Now I’m just worried the temp won’t spike!
Although on my front page on Ava it says it has detected a biphasic signal pattern...🤯 have you, Ava? Have you really? 🖕🏼

@VP91x boo to another flashy!! What did the test stick look like?... had my first morning of blank ⭕️ today, praying that starting a day earlier than CB suggests means I get to see the flashing 🤔

@littletandme fingers crossed for you that it is below 20 🤞🏼. That’s good to know I would have started doing opks and got confused, so really I would be better waiting until I had a negative pregnancy test would you say before trying opk? X

@2020wish don’t get me started already, I don’t think I’ve ovulated yet 🤣. Let’s hope my body is that in tune it’s preparing me for what’s coming

@VP91x yes it drives me mad. But tonight when I wanted to watch proper trash tv (90 day fiancé - gripping) it serves its purpose

@VP91x it’s a very romantic time. OH is on his xbox, hence grabbing him earlier. At least you can stick your legs up with no judgement. If I did that for ages OH would think I’d truly lost it, as if he doesn’t already
