Thanks for your replies, @Rainbowhope11 I don’t have anything against anyone else with their early testing and computer program seeking lines I’m probably just a fun sucker or something 🤣.

Hmmm the temptation to test tomorrow is edging in... I usually feel a bit “off” when I’m pregnant early on before morning sickness kicks in about 6 weeks and I do feel like that, but I’m doing the opposite to symptom spotting and symptom denying 😆. I‘ve convinced myself it’s stress as I’ve had a stressful week.

Rainbowhope11 · 20/06/2020 01:43

@DontStandSoClose I literally just spent half an hour changing the contrast and brightness of my photo of FRER test🤣😂 I honestly wish I didn't test this early (I'm 9dpo). I swear I can see something but if I show it to my hubby or anyone for that matter, he's going to think I've gone completely loopy 🙃Last time I got a positive on a FRER I think I was around 11 dpo and the line was pretty clear, although I must say, the lines on the clearblue were much darker and thicker. I think at 12 dpo you have a good chance of getting a positive if you are pregnant this cycle.

peonyrose87 · 20/06/2020 01:34

@rainbowhope @mrsssk thank you!! ☺️

@DontStandSoClose I tested yesterday at 11dpo and got a clear positive on a first response! Good luck!

DontStandSoClose · 20/06/2020 01:05

So I was just wondering how early anyone had got a bfp (one that doesn’t require a magical computer program to see an invisible line!) on a first response early test? The queen of not testing early is contemplating testing before my period and has for the first time ever forked out on a first response. I’ve only ever bought £1 or Asda tests to test before so I’ve always just waited as I never saw the point. I hate to admit it as I also don’t symptom spot but I feel odd and noticed my boobs have grown literally overnight. I didn’t want to say to my husband “hey, my tits have grown I’m totally preggers” (I don’t really speak like that 😆) as he’d think I was nuts but I wonder... turns out I didn’t need to say as he walked in the bathroom as I was getting in the shower and first words out of his mouth were “your boobs have grown, are you pregnant?”.

So the none symptom spotter, none early tester just wondered when might a test work? My period isn’t due until weds so normally I’d test weds but I’m contemplating early. I’ll be 12dpo today (sat) 🤔.

mrsssk · 19/06/2020 23:31

@peonyrose87 huge huge congrats to you! What a lovely strong positive as well! Hoping you have a lovely smooth pregnancy xxx

mrsssk · 19/06/2020 23:30

@SmileyT what a small world - I'm also an accountant at KPMG, and for that reason, like you I also want to be pg and not think about work for at least a year!!! Can't wait!!! 😂
I live quite near to Chingford too! Here's hoping we all get BFPs soon, the pandemic is over and maybe we can start a little baby and new mums club IRL 😊

Rainbowhope11 · 19/06/2020 23:19

@peonyrose87 congratulations lovely!!!! What lovely news to see on here!! 💕💕

SmileyT · 19/06/2020 23:16

@MichT4 well you say secret but I tell him often I don't plan to go back to work and he just laughs and says you don't pay for anything apart from your hair and clothes anyway 😂 also totally with you on baby weight with no baby, tbh I thought I'd be pregnant by now so thought why bother but I need to focus on positive things in my life if it does take another year 😩 my friend used to work as an accountant for KPMG but recently moved to a skincare group and she says it's much more interesting than auditing banks 😴 xx

@VP91x yeah I'm hoping to stay until it closes, that £250 I'm saving a month on travel will cover my trip to Barbados which I finally just booked 🙌🏾 ooh what kind of recruitment are you in? My sister used to be in medical recruitment and found the hours gruelling night think her boss was a tosser... where do you work? I have never tried the cup after having sex in the evening but can imagine it's more of a pain, during the day it's quite good for when I want to do something afterwards and don't want cum down my leg 🙊

@Bellabubble I really do hope AF stays away, I think we all understand that desperate need to get pregnant again but it will happen and if AF starts it's a fresh new cycle with fresh lining which might be the perfect nest for your little bean ❤️

Bellabubble · 19/06/2020 22:57

@Renna I’m glad the scan went well - sorry AF got you :( I think she’s getting me too! I definitely had a wobble beofre work this morn - it’s hard when you want something so mich isn’t it! Since the mmc I have started spotting before AF comes - each cycle it has got a day less of spotting so I’m thinking my hormones are just taking longer to regulate than I thought they would! xx

@vp91x fingers crossed your peak is here tomorrow!! Xx

@MichT4 how are you waitin for your temps to rise now? Fingers crossed for you too xx

MichT4 · 19/06/2020 22:51

@VP91x nothing as exciting as you ladies, I’m an accountant and am Finance Director at a small company. What brands did you work for? Sounds like fun

VP91x · 19/06/2020 22:40

@MichT4 I've always worked as a retail manager, mainly within luxury brands but have moved over to recruitment now. More sociable hours, etc. How about you?

Legs up! I've given up on the cup for some reason xx

HE88 · 19/06/2020 22:37

@Renna fingers crossed for us ☺️. Xx

@SmileyT roll on fertile week 😀. Yip feeling ok cd1 so we will see what this cycle brings. It will be strange not using opks but also exciting to see what the relaxed approach will be like. Xx

MichT4 · 19/06/2020 22:31

What do you do @VP91x? Do you work in the city too?

Legs up? Or did you remember the cup today?

VP91x · 19/06/2020 22:13

@SmileyT oh that's annoying!! Will you stay there until Nov? So expensive to travel in isn't it?! I always think all that money wasted, but what can you do.

@MichT4 I've been doing stretch and yoga/pilates type stuff once a day because my flexibility is so poor atm! Just had my daily quickie after seeing my non-peak OPK 🤣. Fuck sake, better be static tomorrow.

OP posts:
peonyrose87 · 19/06/2020 21:52

@WellHurrahAndHuzzah glad to hear you're doing well!! I'm good, just felt a bit sick the last few mornings! I had horrible nausea with my last pregnancy so I'm hoping it won't be as bad this time 🤞🏻🤞🏻

WellHurrahAndHuzzah · 19/06/2020 21:36

@peonyrose87 I'm good thanks! By my calculations I'm 5+3 today, I'm pretty damn tired and seem to be really thirsty, but aside from that, no real symptoms! Trying to stay active and keep healthy. How about you? Any symptoms yet?

MichT4 · 19/06/2020 21:27

@SmileyT 😂😂 love that you have a secret plan. 10 hrs a week sounds ideal. I would imagine most can be done over the phone - do you think they’d let you work at home once the branch closes

Definitely good to get focus back on other things. I’m enjoying putting my mind back into my training and food again. Can’t let myself keep spiralling or I’ll have baby weight to lose before I even get PG 🤣

@VP91x how’s your workouts going? Fingers crossed for the next one. Or at least a big static grin in the morning

@renna I’m not a big rose drinker, until I’m poured a blush. Delightful, enjoy!
And I’m glad to hear about Shelby. Probably is all just new and you can’t help but worry. Soon you’ll just realise she loves to eat a slug or two 😂

SmileyT · 19/06/2020 21:13

@MichT4 I'm a mortgage advisor, honestly can't wait to get preggers and be a FT mum, OH thinks I'd be going back to work but will probably be like 10hrs a week 😂

@Renna reading your messages has really motivated me, I used to be in pretty good shape pre pregnancy and then the MC happened and lockdown and now I'm not sure what my excuse is and I agree that having something else to focus on could really help my mental health along with getting into meditation/ yoga properly. Enjoy your wine and some quality time with Shelby and OH this weekend. It will happen for all of us I'm sure of that and we'll get banging pre-pregnancy bodies while we're waiting xx

@HE88 CD7 for me... so fertile period starts in about 4 days, wish it was at the weekend but has worked out when OH isn't working nights so that's good 🙌🏾 how are you doing? Feeling relaxed? xx

@VP91x we're doing all appts over the phone at the moment and 2 other girls from my team live close by so it's all fun working together but the chingford branch is closing in November so will have to go back to the city and the long expensive commute then 😩

VP91x · 19/06/2020 21:09

@Renna hope you have a lovely evening with your OH. Blush Rose sounds gorgeous! Glad Shelby doesn't have a UTI. Definitely easy to be nervous with all these things as you get to know her. She's lucky to have you.

@MichT4 oh sounds so nice! I done one at 6.30 (disappointing) will do one in about half an hour or so. Xx

Renna · 19/06/2020 20:46

@MichT4 aw thank you so much :) so sweet xx shes okay thank you ... I had a stressful day yesterday after my lunch time walk yesterday she puked! It was gross ! And there was a slug in her sick ! So she ate a slug on our walk , she keeps me on my toes for sure haha
Vets just called to confirm she has not got a UTI. So gonna see how her symptoms get on next few days if no improvement then more tests. But I think she seems better and maybe I'm being an over cautious new dog mum lol xx
I've got my blush rose wine for tonight and DH cooking me dinner after having my cry ... xx .he said maybe I come on these forums too much but I was like crying after all your lovely messages and was like see I cant not be on mumsnet the ladies are so lovely and they get it . These things I couldnt discuss with my other friends at all xxxx hope you enjoy your wine tonight too xxx hugs to all and thanks for being so sweet xx

MichT4 · 19/06/2020 20:33

@VP91x just had a lovely shower, and have my wax melts and candles burning so feeling much calmer and more relaxed.
Done another yet?

@Renna no need to thank me at all, it’s a pleasure and what we are all here for. I hate hearing any of you down, and I think you definitely deserve to give yourself some time. You’ve got this, in whichever way you choose to have it.
How’s Shelby?

xx

VP91x · 19/06/2020 20:17

@MichT4 ahh no way!! What a bastard. Enjoy your pom juice/wine/🍆💦 😅😅

@SmileyT ahh that's good that you're not having to travel into the city atm! Do you prefer the Chingford branch? Haven't been to Chingford in aaaages.

@Renna yeah you have your cycle sussed out so I think definitely get yourself back into a routine that makes you and your partner feel good and hopefully the rest will follow ❤️

OP posts:
Renna · 19/06/2020 20:16

@HE88 yeah it makes sense . I mean my cycles since MC have been 28 26 27 28 days . And get my peaks on either CD 12 or 14 . So I can just go by that . I was similar before MC too. Xx let's hope relaxing more will help us this month xxx
@northernsoul90 thanks hun I'll deffo take a look at these xxx

Northernsoul90 · 19/06/2020 19:41

@Renna so these are the ones that I used but there are quite a few others on YouTube as well. Some seem a bit out there at first but I was willing to try anything! I’m an anxious person at the best of times anyway and they did help me relax if nothing else!

Meditations:

m.youtube.com/watch?v=UTmbz-fP5bs

Yoga:

The lady on this video is called Bettina Rae she has quite a few different fertility yoga flows for different stages of your cycle. xxx

peonyrose87 · 19/06/2020 19:38

Thank you so much everyone 🥰🥰 so nervous about it being so early, but hopefully it sticks!!

@WellHurrahAndHuzza how are you feeling?
