@SmileyT @VP91x I think the guidance is to work from home or if have to be in school have as little contact with other people as possible. Knowing school, they'll still make me go in but lock me in a cupboard somewhere.

Awww thanks, I have to admit I was anticipating having to stand on my head etc to see it if there was a line, but it was there within about 20 seconds of dipping it!

Well I did cave and I am indeed pregnant! I’ve just realised I’m only 11dpo too, but no special effects or cgi was needed to see it, deffo preggers! I just hope I can manage to bake this one 😬🤗

@1990EM well yes, the EWCM was a positive, as was my peak. I just have to think positive I guess, it’ll happen one day I just hope sooner rather than later.

Please try and relax with your pregnancy. I was literally just saying to OH that I really want to try and relax when it does happen again. I know it’s hard, but last time I loved looking at the weekly progress and stuff, I don’t want to not have that.
Same for you - you deserve this time and the happiness. Don’t let anything stop you enjoying it. Definitely agree you should get a scan early, just to reassure you xx

@VP91x I’m in Hampshire. Currently being looked after by my nieces who keep bringing me ice cream (pretend obviously). I can see how your little one keeps you distracted

@MichT4 yeah it's crazy isn't it, when I kinda thought I was pregnant I was on holiday and was like I'll test when I'm back and wasn't concerned at all, waited 4 days after I got back just popped into a boots got their cheapest test and did it in a toilet at work and never tested again, didn't even think about a CP( well I was over 5 weeks but you know what I mean) and didn't even consider how wrong things could go 😔 your day sounds very nice I'm just sat on the sofa watching Netflix waiting for OH to wake up x

@1990EM haha I'm the same as you, didn't even think about testing again when I got my BFP will be so different this time I'm sure, ahh hope you are doing well and enjoying the sunshine 😎 and you are so early I bet once you see a scan you'll be so much more connected xx

@VP91x no she moved into pharmaceutical sales and she loves it actually, all working from home basically and then goes out to GPs surgeries and stuff but obviously worried at the moment as no GP or hospital visits for a while for her x

@Northernsoul90 hi lovely, I know everybody can be different but the test I took about 8 days after surgery was a blazing positive but it did reduce the week after, are yours getting lighter? I still saw my peak on opks as it was much stronger than the general highs on them in the first month so you could definitely try them and see if you see a pattern - only if you're ready xx

@Northernsoul90 how many weeks were you at MVA? Could just be taking longer for HCG to leave your system.
Mine had dropped from 1900miu to 200miu on last day of bleeding. I left it a while to test and 6 days later I had a negative test.
It may be worth asking EPU to see if they can test your hcg levels, the past few miu can take a little while I have been told, especially if your count was higher in the first place.
Hope that helps x it's most likely just taking a while to leave your body rather than being retained products. X

Forgot to add I know the line isn’t the darkest for a pregnancy test but I thought that by now it would be faint and getting to the point where it would be difficult to see...it’s still a very obvious positive at this point

Hi everyone hope you are all well! I was just wondering when everyone started to get negative pregnancy tests after mc. I have tested today which is 12 days post mva and I’m still getting a strong positive which is worrying me slightly. I am really keen to start ttc again and wanted to start opks but I feel this is now pointless after having a positive pregnancy test. I was looking forward to having something to focus on and the idea of ttc again was giving me some positivity back, just feeling a frustrated that the line is so dark. Really hoping there’s no retained tissue I have attached pic of the test x

@VP91x thanks for asking, been feeling ok apart from the sickening feeling that something is going to happen to this pregnancy. I expect this is just how I'll feel every preganacy from now on but it's sad not to be able to fully enjoy it. Only about 5w4d and only symptoms are sore boobs. Very little nausea so far which is nice. I'm considering a private scan just to try to make this feel more real!! I'm worried that because of my fear of losing it that I'll not bond with this baby properly.

@MichT4 that day will be here soon.. .I know it. After all you got EWCM this cycle ;) I have never been one to do loads of tests after a BFP but this time I have done about 10 🙈🙈 MC has done that to me.

I took one day off MN and look at all that's happened! Congrats to @peonyrose87 what lively news! So delighted for you.

Can't wait to see the tests tomorrow and hopefully some BFP. @2020wish pink dye tests can be a bit funny for me too with not always working. I think i just was more scared of the blue dye tests because of the increased chance of evap lines with them! So have stayed away after my first evap line heartbreak 🙈

@VP91x wildlife park sounds fun! The weekends are always easier to be distracted for me. I’m going to go and have a coffee in my sisters garden while OH works this morning, then I have to train at some point. Not so fun as a wildlife park!

@SmileyT totally up for that reunion and also, yaaaaayyyy!!! Great news on the flashy. Don’t feel sad, I was excited seeing a peak on OPKs. Imagine what we’ll be like when we see the BFPs!

Just took me back to when I did see a BFP. It was so unexpected and I hadn’t tracked a thing, hadn’t rooted around for CM or disturbed my cervix 😂😂 ahh the days of innocence. I think I took a test every day for a week. Lucky I’ve got about 7 tests hidden upstairs for that day when it comes again 🤞🏼🤞🏼

OMG just posted and forgot my news... I got my FIRST ever flashing smile on CB 🥳 🥳 🥳 3rd month and i finally have seen what it looks like, so sad but it's kinda made my day...

@mrsssk yes how amazing would it be if we all got our BFPs and could meet irl with our bumps and then babies ☺️

@DontStandSoClose I think at 12dpo there is a really good chance you'll get an accurate result so if you feel the need just do it and let us know how you get on 🤞

@VP91x she worked for a small firm under James Caans recruitment entrepeneur umbrella so her boss was basically a start up with 2 staff so guess he just wanted everyone to put in the hours, yeah working local at the moment is great for me, definitely feel like I won't be commuting forever. Holiday is booked for the 11th November, just after my due date would've been, if I'm not pregnant by then at least I'll have a nice trip to look forward to x

@MichT4 yes we should do a MN reunion in the Caribbean, everyone says we have to relax right 😎

@Bellabubble yeah the hormones and other people can be a nightmare, my friend is due in 10 days and now officially on mat leave so wants to see me all the time I love here but I do find it hard sometimes. And I'm in agreement so hard to have patience, I've told myself it will happen by August before I panic but it's slowly approaching... even OH said to me the other day ' I thought it would've happened by now' very unlike him not to be completely positive. How are you today?? X

@VP91x Yes had some cramps yesterday and still just have that feeling now but will just have to wait and see. Really hope you beat that smug face and get a static 🤞x
