@chloedancer897 thank U x

chloedancer897 · 20/06/2020 12:38

@2020wish thank you. I still have my fingers crossed for you tomorrow. Keep me updated xx

2020wish · 20/06/2020 12:36

@chloedancer897 I’m gutted for you :( I actually believed this was your month :( go ok ur hike and then you and Dh have a wee night together and relax xx

chloedancer897 · 20/06/2020 12:32

@2020wish yes 100%. Went to view a house and came back and there it was. I'm devastated. Going out for a big hike now to tire myself out and an early night. I kept imagining myself handing DH a positive test tomorrow for Father's Day. He actually cried this time too. We were so convinced. I'm not going to symptom spot anymore or tell him if I feel like I might be. It's just so heartbreaking.

@DontStandSoClose I got pregnant so easily with my other 2. First one was unplanned. Second I conceived within weeks of coming off the pill. Never had an issue. Hoping for a sticky little bean for you this time.

Thanks @SmileyT xo

SmileyT · 20/06/2020 12:28

Congrats @DontStandSoClose 🥳

@Ejb86 ooh that's interesting they are doing that at schools, at work for us we are supposed to be social distancing but no changes if you are pregnant at all, definitely no working from home 😔

@Northernsoul90 yeah my Dr said that if I should get a negative test by 3 weeks and period within 4-6weeks. Tbh I didn't even get to the negative test point after it was faint I just accepted it was probably done so not exactly sure when they would've been negative. The first month after MC can feel horribly long and lonely but be kind to yourself and your body, it will bounce back when it's ready xx

@Bellabubble sorry AF arrived but definitely stay positive about cycle returning to normal. Flashing smily on CB just means it's detected oestrogen rise, think mine is always early which is why I haven't seen it the last 2 months but now I'll have another 4/ 5 days of these as I'm due to have my surge next Thursday or Friday x

@chloedancer897 I'm so sorry AF arrived after you had all the signs from your body, treat yourself to something non ttc related this weekend and remember that this is a new cycle now and there is no reason why this can't be your month xx

2020wish · 20/06/2020 12:28

@chloedancer897 ohh no :( is ur definitely AF?

Rainbowhope11 · 20/06/2020 12:27

@DontStandSoClose yaaaaaaay!!!! Congratulations hun!! That is a lovely positive you have there 🎉🎉🥳

@VP91x hi lovely! I'm doing okay. Still having a bit of trouble sleeping, I've bought some magnesium as some of the ladies suggested. It does relax me, but I still can't fall asleep properly. I took a a few sips of wine last night hoping that that would help, but all that's done is give me a headache this morning (after only 3 sips 😳). I've got no symptoms so starting to feel like this isn't my month. Gave up on tracking bbt because of my sleeping problems. I also have no idea when AF will arrive because cycles still seem messed up.

How are you doing? I'm sorry that you aren't having any luck with the CB😫 it's so frustrating! Do you have any sticks left? How are your temps?

@MichT4 hi hun😊 I don't even think I'm going to test again unless AF doesn't show up sometime next week. I think I'm so sleep deprived that I was seeing lines when there aren't any😂 how are you doing?

DontStandSoClose · 20/06/2020 12:24

@chloedancer897 2.5 years 🙁 i can't even begin to imagine how hard that must be. I felt angry the other day when 2 people revealed unplanned pregnancies one due the same day as me and the other the same month. Totally irrational. I can't imagine how years of this would feel xx

DontStandSoClose · 20/06/2020 12:20

It's funny I feel less excited than the other times this time, I don't think I'll start to believe there's going to be a baby for quite a while. I feel like I have 2 added hurdles now, actually getting past my period due date with testing early and then getting past the 6.5 week mark when I lost the other, before I even contemplate 12 weeks.

Ayms0 · 20/06/2020 12:18

Congratulations @DontStandSoClose!

I’m new to this, currently 8DPO and I have had mild cramping ongoing since ovulation. I can’t even remember if that’s normal for me or not. I also keep getting very light headed every time I stand up, again I’m not sure if that’s related. Trying to resist doing a test but im also really tempted tomorrow, will only be 9DPO but I’m driving myself mad.

Has anyone had a positive that early?

chloedancer897 · 20/06/2020 12:14

Thanks @DontStandSoClose It's hit me like a ton of bricks. I felt so pregnant. I really had myself convinced. But I always have myself convinced. You'd think I'd be used to AF showing after 2 1/2 years of trying but it doesn't get any easier.

Onwards to CD1 again

DontStandSoClose · 20/06/2020 12:11

@chloedancer897 I'm so sorry af arrived xx

DontStandSoClose · 20/06/2020 12:10

@MichT4 we decided to go for number 3 in March (we have a 4 and 2 year old already), we tried the very end of March/early April very half arsed to be honest, I think we had sex twice in about 6 weeks, well timed granted just before ovulation. I got pregnant right away as I did with my 2 children but miscarried at just over 6 weeks. I think I found it hard even though it was only very early because I've never had any issues before so assumed positive test = baby. I was due Christmas Day, so it's also been hard seeing people reveal they are pregnant this week (there's been 3!), last week would have been my 12 week scan.

We tried again last month right away and I for the first time used ovulation tests as I assumed things would be messed up. So I spent the entire month testing and having sex every other day (hard work with 2 children around!!!) for me to never get a positive opk and obviously not be pregnant. My period was 6 days late too, just to mess with me! I found getting a negative test hard to deal with (even though I knew I most likely hadn't ovulated), I've never seen a negative wanting a positive as I've only ever tested late or not wanting to be pregnant. I take my hat off to anyone getting month after month of negatives, I was angry from 1 month!! Which is ridiculous and irrational!!

I didn't actually "do" anything I just had sex days 9, 10, 11, 12 (no other time the entire cycle) (ovulation day 12- I think) but even that was hard work 😆 with kids around 24/7. I've always thought I ovulated day 11 going off pains but I only got a positive opk that day so I think the pains I've always felt must signify the day before ovulation, I never realised as I've never tested for ovulation. So yes it was just a case of targeted sex again oh and laying down afterwards, nothing else though.

chloedancer897 · 20/06/2020 11:53

AF arrived 😞😞

HopeForRainbowbaby · 20/06/2020 11:53

@DontStandSoClose congratulations !! Wishing you healthy pregnancy ☺️

VP91x · 20/06/2020 11:39

@MichT4 yeah good idea to stop them. I stopped the day they went light after my peak last month.

@Bellabubble sorry AF came but glad thst you feel more comfortable that your cycle is back to being more normal for you. FW will be here quickly for you xx

2020wish · 20/06/2020 11:34

Last month I got my positives (3rd pregnancy)on 10dpo and a digital 11dpo but on looking at the cycle it was a longer cycle and actually worked out to be cycle day 29 lol even tho cycle day 29 this month and the first two pregnancies were 13/14dpo. Is that normal? I think because the second pregnancy being the further along one messed up my cycle last month and caused it to be longer? Does that make sense

2020wish · 20/06/2020 11:31

@DontStandSoClose congrats!!!

@chloedancer897 yea I’m holding out. Feeling so sick tho and it’s Only lifting when I eat something. Also pulling down there and feeling agitated but I know this could all be from anixtey and possibly a cold as I’m sneezing and coughing. But looking back on the other 3 times I’ve fallen pregnant this year I didn’t get my BFP until CD 29 which would be Monday. I’ll test tomorrow anyway and see. Also frer never work for me. But have one and a clear blue

Bellabubble · 20/06/2020 11:22

@DontStandSoClose congratulations!! Lovely news 😃

@SmileyT AF arrived a bit earlier this morn, so am into cycle 5 - am taking the positive stance that I only had one day of spotting before this time - so I think that I must be getting to more what I was like pre-pg/mc! I feel disappointed, but my cycles are pretty regular so fertile window will be here before I know it! I only use the cheap opks - but flashy smiley on the cb means the lh surge is due soon? 🤞🏻 xx

Tink20058 · 20/06/2020 11:07

@DontStandSoClose congratulations on you bfp 🎉🎉🎉 xxx

MichT4 · 20/06/2020 11:07

@DontStandSoClose wow!! Congratulation!! Amazing news!! Can you remind me of the details. What cycle TTC is this? And what did you do? And what symptoms did you have?

@VP91x that is progress! Excited to see the progression. I decided to stop OPKs as they were definitely getting lighter, although had another peak yesterday lunch. But I guess once you’ve had the peak then that’s it?

peonyrose87 · 20/06/2020 11:05

@DontStandSoClose yay!!! ❤️ so happy to see this!

Northernsoul90 · 20/06/2020 11:04

@DontStandSoClose congratulations! That is a very strong positive Flowers

Northernsoul90 · 20/06/2020 11:02

@mrsssk I was between 8 and 9 weeks when the mva was done. Thank you for your advice, I think I might wait another few days until mid week maybe and retest if it’s still quite strong I will give EPU a ring.

@SmileyT I took a test on Monday and I do think it has got lighter since then I think I just presumed it would have been much fainter by this point. I had bad sickness during the pregnancy and this stopped immediately after the mva which I thought meant the hormones had rapidly dropped. It’s all very confusing Confused I may do an opk later out of curiosity if anything else!

Feeling quite sad that I hoped and prayed for a positive so badly and didn’t dare believe it when I saw it and then now all I want to see is a negative. Hopefully I will get a fainter test next week and if not will contact EPU. It is only early days after the mc but I feel like I just want my body to return to normal and then I can focus on ttc. The longing to become a mum is unbearable sometimes as I’m sure everyone can relate to. Thank you all for your replies and reassurance xxx

chloedancer897 · 20/06/2020 10:59

@2020wish are you hanging in there? I did almost cave today with my CB digital but last time it only read pregnant on CD28, never any earlier. So holding off until tomorrow. If I'm not pg,
I think I have a stomach bug because my stomach is awful and so much nausea.
