Really glad I have found this thread! New here but glad to see I’m not alone. It’s typical that me and DH decided to start ttc from my next cycle and then af just hasn’t come. I just want to start trying! Currently on cd52 which is the longest I’ve ever had. Usually 30-35. ThoughT just in case I’d do a test but all BFN. So out of curiosity did OPK for the last 4 days and it’s been getting darker over the last few days so maybe a late ovulation who knows

@Suki2020 I'm 3dpo but literally did it like 1.5 times after a positive opk 🤦🏼‍♀️ so not holding out any hope!! The positive surprised me on cd16 which was 10 days earlier than I was expecting, so hadn't got into regular DTD 😣 still, should mean a 30 day cycle this time which is amazing!

Ooh @Rosegold3112 that looks promising! If af doesn't come will you do an hcg test?

Glad everyone is doing well and good luck and baby dust to those of you on your 2ww. Just thought I'd share some exciting news for me.
These past 2 days I've decided to get up early and take myself out on a morning walk just me and my music. It may not seem much but for the last 12+ weeks I haven't gone anywhere without OH and the dog. I've been craving some alone time for a while but didn't want to hurt his feelings and felt guilty going for a walk without the dog. Anyway it must have done some good as yesterday I got a dark line on an opk! Tested twice later in the day and it had gone back to pale but I wasn't going to let that deter me. Today I got my first positive! It went dark so quickly. I normally sit there staring for the full 10 minutes but this one was obviously positive within a minute. I feel so relieved and happier than I've felt in a long time! I know it's only an opk and nothing as exciting as a bfp but for me it's made my day!
I felt some cramps when I was on the walk today which I guess was my ovaries waking up? Only slight worry is that technically for my old 30 day cycles I'm due af tomorrow. This wouldn't be a false positive from my body gearing up for af without ovulating would it?

@Pol96 @SarahTTC2020 thank you. I've not had anything since that one tiny spot this morning which was like... beige? I just need to be patient and wait and see what happens :)

@suki2020 think that's all you can do really, and say no to fringe cuts so you don't have to face them 😆

@pol96 I’m self employed. I have no idea what I will do if I’m pregnant, I would defiantly cut back on my hrs if I don’t give up. It’s so hard, to know what effects it would have on a pregnancy as it’s still so unknown. I will be cutting hair in people’s gardens if the weather is dry and obviously being going through lots of hand sanitiser. My diary is fully booked for 6 weeks once I return on sat. So many things to think about, but I’m going to worry about it until I get a BFP.

@Pol96 gone down to what it was yesterday but still way above cover 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Suki2020 I totally get that though.. Are you self employed or part of a company? Because if it turns out you are pregnant what will your plan be? My mil is a part time hairdresser (amongst other things) and has been cutting hair in her garden! Alright in the warm not windy weather!

@pol96 bet that was a relief. I go back to work on Saturday and I’m dreading it. I’m a mobile hairdresser so going in and out of peoples house scares the life out of me at the moment with the virus and so many people going to the beach and protests, I just don’t trust people. That’s really sad isn’t it?

No not back at work, there's a chance I won't be until September but they have asked if I'll do holiday club.. Luckily that won't be until after my scan so can tell them.

@pol96 I’m so glad your DP can come in with you. Did you return to work? I had another rise this morning.

@Pol96 no none at all yet, I was just curious. I had a dream that af came and was so confused when I woke up haha.

@Newbie0818 no, no bleeding, I had some cramps and I honestly thought it was af coming.. Have you had some bleeding?

@Pol96 only because I like to avoid the inevitable haha.
I can't remember now, but did you say you had any bleeding at all?
