@Angelchops30 bless you. I'm sure you'll savour every moment of this pregnancy despite being worried!

Angelchops30 · 30/07/2020 13:17

@Newbie0818 it seems silly but I've always said that I don't really feel like I've ever been pregnant before, in my world I was only pregnant for 6 weeks ( dd was 2 weeks over due) and I have no idea what to look out for, how it feels and I'm probably going to be an anxious wreck!
I'm hoping the inositol works for us both, I definitely feel like it's pulling my body into some sort of routine at last

Newbie0818 · 30/07/2020 13:04

@Angelchops30 wow that's amazing. It'll be so nice for you to experience it again knowing there's a bean in there x

Angelchops30 · 30/07/2020 11:57

I was a size 8 before and a size 10 after, but as soon as I found out I seemed to grow a bump over night, it was very very surreal

Angelchops30 · 30/07/2020 11:55

Nope @Newbie0818 I had zero symptoms that I knew of, I felt tired but was working a lot and still bled from time to time but af was always stupidly unpredictable so just didn't think anything of it. Now I feel like I don't know what it feels like to be pregnant in the early stages which sounds really silly as I've obvs been pregnant before.
Definitely have a read up about the inositol I'll probably keep taking it after my bfp well until I run out at least

Newbie0818 · 30/07/2020 11:43

@Angelchops30 interesting! I might have a look and keep taking them if that's the case. Wow 8 months! Did you not have any symptoms? I'm so curious to know how big I'll get when pregnant as I'm a fairly slim 10, and I saw a pic of my mum at 8 months with me the other day and she just looked like she had a big meal 😂 she's tiny though.

Rosegold3112 · 30/07/2020 11:42

So after a sleepless night I got the dreaded phone call. 2 and a half hours later than expected as well just to really make me squirm. Results reveal potential metabolic disorder and possible PCOS. Sort of what I was expecting. I've been booked for a blood test on the 10th to check if I'm ovulating, which I'm really hopeful I am as last month charting seemed to indicate I did. Also told to lose weight which I knew as well.
Did an opk which really softened the blow and cheered me up as its almost positive! CD 15 so if it happens in the next few days my cycle will be like the "old normal". Don't want to frighten it away by getting too excited but it's made the news I'm a heffer who needs to lose the podge a bit better to bear 😂
Thank you all for your supportive messages yesterday. It may not seem like much but it really helped me, especially when speaking to friends who are dismissive. I am so grateful and appreciative of these forums ❤️❤️

@Newbie0818
Thankyou for the welcome 🙂
I did a lot of google searches and read many different articles, it's also supposed to reduce the risk of developing gestational diabetes. I've never been diagnosed with PCOS but I'd be surprised if I didn't have it to be honest, I've never had regular periods but thought nothing of it, I was also 8 months pregnant before I even found out I was pregnant with my daughter ( obviously i wasn't trying )
Hopefully you find some answers soon

Newbie0818 · 30/07/2020 11:15

@justlonelystars Sorry about af, but good idea with the opk's, good luck 🤞🏼

@Tink2019 I know! It's horrible! I've already convinced myself I'm preggo so I'm going with positive thoughts this cycle 🤣 though I just had loads of ewcm ?!?!

Welcome @Angelchops30 and I hope something happens for you soon. Thanks for the info about inositol! I haven't taken it the last two days because I was worried but debating taking it again. Where did you find that info with the miscarriages? I'm trying to find out if it is indeed harmful after a bfp like someone told me 🧐

Angelchops30 · 30/07/2020 10:43

Hey guys, hope you don't mind me joining, I've been on the depo for the last few years but my last one was due at the end of March and we decided to ttc so I didn't have it. Long story short still no af but my body seems to be settling down abit now so I'm hopeful that I'm not completely broken 🙈
@Newbie0818 I've been taking inositol for about 2 weeks and did a lot of research, some things I've read suggest it lowers the chance of miscarriage if continued after bfp, but obviously I would do your own research to make your own mind up
Sorry for the long post!

Tink2019 · 30/07/2020 09:36

@Newbie0818 🤣🤣🤣 Hopefully the sore boobs aren't just the progesterone rise. Why is the TWW so torturous?!

@justlonelystars good luck! Definitely good to collect as much data as you can. You'll be an OPK pro by next cycle!

justlonelystars · 30/07/2020 08:43

My period arrived this morning, meaning last cycle was 39 days (I’m usually 39 or 40). I intend to LH test every day of this cycle to really get an understanding of it. Wish me luck!

Newbie0818 · 30/07/2020 07:54

@Tink2019 I wasn't really going to 😜 but yay for a rise on yours too!
I don't want to get ahead of myself but my boobs are sore, which is very unusual for me. Probably just a result of an actual ovulation progesterone rise 🤷🏼‍♀️

Tink2019 · 30/07/2020 07:46

Great chart @Newbie0818 - mine went up to today too to 36.95. Think you only have to self-isolate if it's above 38, but I may be wrong!

Newbie0818 · 30/07/2020 07:14

My chart is quite different to last months, I'm now certain I ovulated 🙌🏼
Although surely if my temp gets higher I'll have to self isolate or something?!

@Suki2020 that's good :) yeah it's nice we always keep each other company haha.

Suki2020 · 29/07/2020 19:47

@Newbie0818 no nothing different, still taking Agnus Castus though and I swear by it. I’m on my third cycle with it now and I’ve gone from 60+days to 43 days to 35days. So I’m happy with that. It’s nice to still be on the same timeline as you again

Newbie0818 · 29/07/2020 19:25

@Rosegold3112 you're welcome! Don't stress, they're there to help you :)

@SarahTTC2020 love a lunchtime quickie!

Tink2019 · 29/07/2020 18:10

@Rosegold3112 you poor thing - totally normal to panic and so good @Newbie0818 can give a little comfort x

@SarahTTC2020 random time quickies are the only positive of lockdown!

SarahTTC2020 · 29/07/2020 17:47

@Rosegold3112 bless you, glad you found someone on here then who has had it before!

We did a lunch break quickie so I'm happy! Took the pressure off so it feels like this is sustainable whilst I have no idea when fw will start!

Rosegold3112 · 29/07/2020 17:45

@newbie0818 thank you that means so much. I've been really stressing about it and you know when you just don't want to burden people ❤️

Newbie0818 · 29/07/2020 16:28

@Rosegold3112 I had that when I had my b12 and folate tests, and it's just a case of they can't let you know themselves, please don't worry. You're probably a bit deficient and the doctor needs to talk it through with you themselves and take you through treatment options. You'll be fine I promise 💕

Rosegold3112 · 29/07/2020 13:48

I'm in limbo. Went for my first b12 injection today and was expecting to get the hormone results back from my blood test. I didn't realise until last night how worried I am about it as I felt so sick just thinking about it. Trying to tell myself it's better to know and all that, felt prepared when heading to my doctors. I asked the nurse if she had the results while she did my injection and she checked the notes and all it said was discuss results with Gp. Now I've been booked in for a phone call tomorrow morning.
I understand if it's routine but the nurse on the phone last week told me to ask while getting my injection so surely for normal or uncomplicated results they would have been able to discuss them with me there. It's got me worrying like mad and I have no energy to do anything today.

Anyone else had blood tests with ominous results? I know there's no use speculating and tomorrow morning I will know one way or the other if there is something wrong but still I can't help but want some good news today 😔

Newbie0818 · 29/07/2020 13:08

@duckii I always get cramps and tender boobs when I'm about to ovulate, so I don't think the inositol made a difference there, I think it's just natural for some women. I don't think the pills have actually made any difference to my usual symptoms apart from bringing it forward. And yes you'll ov up to 48 hrs after positive opk so as long as you've DTD in the days leading up to it you'll be fine :)

Tink2019 · 29/07/2020 13:02

@duckii those sound like very positive O signs 👍🏻 I'm 6dpo now and temps still good, but I think both my apps my have got O date wrong and I'm actually only 3dpo...we'll see when AF arrives (although of course hoping it doesn't!)
