@restingbface think I may ovulate tomorrow as my opk line seems stronger tonight. 🤞
@Newbie0818 did you have a temp rise this morning?

@Suki2020 I’m not the best at looking at these but I think possibly Saturday! These are easy@home ones off amazon x

Suki2020 · 03/09/2020 08:15

@restingbface I’m having the same issues this cycle. Don’t know if my peak happened on Sunday and I missed it as I didn’t test until Sunday night as we were out for the day. I also had a big temp dip monday morning. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I had an ultra sound scan on cd10 and my follicle was 15mm in size then and she suggested I’d end up with a normal 28-33day cycle, well that didn’t happen 😂 think I’m just going to keep testing for now and see what happens as I don’t want to miss it if it hasn’t happened yet. What OPK’s do you use?

@xoJellyBean truthfully I don’t have a bloody clue! My OPKs keep going up and down. I’ve attached photos of them incase you can make anything of them. Potentially CD13 later on? They all look the bloody same, the whole thing is doing my head in & think Ill need a break from it next month 🤣 x

@restingbface Yesss I took the soy this month, I think I've ovulated already but defo missed it with this wedding coming up but now that it's over I'm going to be back at the tracking next month! How are you getting on x

Thanks @duckii for that info.

@Dollybird89 sorry about the cp, hope things get better for you soon. I'd definitely temp for more answers.

@Tink2019 I'm really sorry if I already congratulated you before but yay congrats! I've been so out of date with MN I can't keep track of who's where haha. That's awesome! I've up'd my inositol dose and that's what's brought on ov I think so I'm hopeful, SI may well be my next strategy depending on how long docs take if that's the case!

@Suki2020 hi again ☺️ glad your scan was all clear :) we always seem to be in line haha, I'm cd29 now and both apps saying I'm ov, and tbh I feel it so just waiting on my temps to see what they do. It's all so boring isn't it. Not the exciting journey everyone talks about! I'm so happy you've had a referral, I hope you get some answers. I really hope that's what my docs will do too.

SarahTTC2020 · 02/09/2020 16:31

@hollywhooo that's so good to hear! Gives me hope
@Suki2020 glad the ultrasound was clear and hope ov happens soon!

I had my day 3 bloods today so just need to wait a week for results. Just happy that I can start DTD next week again with some hope of it being fruitful. I gave up with it the last couple weeks waiting for AF to arrive

Suki2020 · 02/09/2020 13:02

@hollywhooo congratulations 🎉
Welcome back @Newbie0818. I’m on cd26 and still waiting for ovulation too. I’ve had my ultra sound scan since I last spoke to you and that came back all clear, so I’m super happy with that. I’ve now been referred to the fertility clinic for more test.

restingbface · 02/09/2020 11:10

Massive congrats @hollywhooo 🥳

How’s everyone getting on who took soy isoflavones this month? Think it was @xoJellyBean & @duckii (could be wrong though)

hollywhooo · 02/09/2020 08:29

Yeah i told OH as soon as i did the test cos i thought my eyes were deceiving me haha!!!!
Yeah i’ve no clue with dates and stuff, i think it must be early tho! Xx

Dollybird89 · 02/09/2020 08:21

@hollywhooo congratulations 🎊 I think I'd be the same not wanting to tell anyone except oh untill I'd seen my scan to actually believe it 😁 I'm on cd 44 now and bfn 😭
Is it worth getting a thermometer for basal temps?

Pol96 · 02/09/2020 07:37

@hollywhooo have you told your oh yet?? You need to decide when to tell gp/refer yourself to the midwife. I called the gp at about 5 weeks and they referred me. You generally won't hear from a midwife until 8-10ish weeks for your booking appointment, don't worry that's normal! With longer cycles your dates will most likely be off, but they'll insist on dating you from lmp until the first scan. Good luck!!! X

hollywhooo · 02/09/2020 07:16

Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
I’m not telling anyone in real life as i dont believe it i’m so shocked!!!! So its lovely to tell you all.
Don’t give up any of you. It’s been 15 months for me, my shortest cycle over that time being 47 days, my NHS referral was due through any day. This feels like a miracle :)
What do i do now?! Lol i’m clueless x

@hollywhooo congratulations 😍😍😍

Tink2019 · 01/09/2020 22:14
@hollywhooo congratulations! I don't think they would have picked it up 2 weeks ago and a bfp like that is very real!!

@Newbie0818 have a read at this thread. @Tink2019 had some great info on it. It's supposed to be like Clomid.
For anyone TTC or thinking about TTC with Soy Isoflavones www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2217152-For-anyone-TTC-or-thinking-about-TTC-with-Soy-Isoflavones
Hey @Newbie0818, hope you're doing ok? As @duckii said I used soy isoflavones on my last cycle and got a BFP! Not had a hint before and was coming up to a year of TTC. Had been prescribed Clomid so thought I'd try SI first as it's dubbed the 'natural Clomid'. I also took B6 for the first time last cycle after I O'd so that could've helped too. Would definitely recommend trying both, worked for me (although at just under 8 weeks I'm still very cautious as the last few weeks have been very bumpy so now anxiously waiting for an early scan on Monday) x

duckii · 01/09/2020 21:56

If anyone uses clearblue advanced opks, can you still get smiley faces flashing if you missed seeing the static one. I'm one day 5/6 of flashing faces, but I had a lot of ewcm (sorry tmi) 3 days ago. I thought I would have seen my peak by now.. no cheapies left and only clearblue left. I decided after they finish I'm going to stop opks for a while.. now I'm confused

Pol96 · 01/09/2020 21:53

@hollywhooo I reckon you'd get a positive on a digi now too tbh.. Just checked my photos and when I had a line similar on a frer I got 2-3 weeks on a digi (pic attached) .. Ahh so exciting!!

Welcome @Dollybird89 sorry to hear about your chemical and good luck with your ttc journey!

Dollybird89 · 01/09/2020 21:36

Hi all, hope urs OK to join, stopped my mini pill in Feb. Been ttc since, had chemical pregnancy in April (I swear I developed ibs after) and my cycles are so irregular 🤦‍♀️ currently on cd43 with tiredness sickness and back pain (may be unrelated) going to start ovulation strips next cycle (Im new to all the abbreviations lol 😂) I've no clue what I'm doing tbh and would be great to talk

hollywhooo · 01/09/2020 21:19

Thank you both so much. I’m genuinely in shock, it’s been 15 months! I don’t think i quite believe it yet, i keep thinking the test must be faulty lol

Pol96 · 01/09/2020 21:15

@hollywhooo that's a very positive test!! Congratulations!!
If you had bloods 2 weeks ago it may not have implanted by then.. therefore no hcg to pick up...??

Newbie0818 · 01/09/2020 20:19

@duckii I'm ok, but fed up still but I got a very high opk today so I think it's happening finally :) what are those isoflavens?

@xoJellyBean yay for ov :) how have you been?

@SarahTTC2020 yay for blood test, that was quick!

@hollywhooo omg yay! Congrats!
