Anyone else DTD few days before ov?! 2WW

DTD with my partner on Saturday which makes it cycle day 13 for me. I ovulate around cycle day 15/16. So today or tomorrow. I can’t DTD today so I have to stick with my partners swimmers from Saturday. Wondering if I’m still in with a chance this month 😕I know it takes hours for egg to be released and sperm live for a few days but I’m still thinking I’m out. Anyone else in the same boat as me?

@Csari I'm ok, woke up with a migraine this morning and af arrived 😑

I am getting very fed up with it all now, I so hoped we would have conceived before the anniversary of dps operation! Going into month 11 now. I just don't think it is meant to be 😔

@Csari I hope so too for your case! And ooo really? That sounds very hopeful, would make sense if you ov’d a bit later due to what happened. Don’t worry, just make sure you dtd tonight! And don’t worry, nothing is TMI here lol.
But I’m good today, only 3dpo. Not going to get my hopes up or go crazy like I did last month lol. X

@Leobaby I've heard that too, hoping that it's true.

I've certainly felt like my body has been working up to ovulation for longer than normal so hoping that might be a good sign, I usually ovulate on CD10 or CD11 but nothing yet.

Although today is CD14 and I feel like today might be the day going by symptoms (because I am out of OPKs). I have a pulling type niggly pain on the right side and loads more EWCM than normal (sorry if thats TMI). Kicking myself for having a long bath and an early night with a book instead of DTD last night lol.

How are you both feeling today?

@Csari I mean ewcm means fertile mucus so surely you were going to ovulate? I don’t know it’s all confusing what happens with our hormones etc. I guess all you can do is keep dtd and wait and see. I thought after a pregnancy or miscarriage that you’re more fertile than normal?i don’t know, but fingers crossed for you!!

@RobinRose ah just going to have to wait and see then, I really hope af doesn’t arrive for you!! X

@Leobaby @Csari I am feeling better today thank you! Had some cramping this morning but that seems to have buggered off now and not much boob pain. Just hoping af is not as painful as last month.

@Leobaby I did wonder if thats what is going on. I tested negative about 3 days after the bleeding stopped so I hoped that things would settle down quickly but maybe its taking a bit longer.

I DTD two days ago when I first noticed EWCM and ill DTD again tonight and every other day I guess and hope I just ovulate late or something.

@Csari I’m the opposite, I had a positive opk with no ov pains from what I remember. Usually I do get ov pains but none this month.

@Csari that’s very strange? Maybe the hormones from the pregnancy is still present and have prevented you from ovulating this month? Have you dtd every other day to keep yourself covered this month?

@Leobaby The clearblue Digital ones, not the advanced. I need something definitive or I'll drive my self mad analysing it lol. Another negative today and the ovulation type pain has passed too so I have no clue what's going on.

@RobinRose hope you are feeling better today and yes it is so annoying isn't it lol. I think I've not ovulated at all this month but have no clue, I'm out of tests now anyway so will never know lol.

@Csari which opks are you using? That is very frustrating for you, I’d still dtd every other day to have yourself covered?! But you are also describing what I’ve had too this month which I don’t normally get but obviously I got my positive opk as well. Strange, I usually get a little ov pain and I’ve had none too, just bloated!

@RobinRose bless you, at least you got rid of it quickly. Migraines are the worst. Well I have my fingers crossed for you, hopefully the pain in your breasts is a good sign!

@Leobaby @Csari i am not too sure! I know, this month has flown by! I feel OK, had what I thought was another migraine starting this morning but took tablets and nothing came of it (thank god) I have been a bit crampy so I am expecting af to appear. I feel ok, a bit chubby 🙄 I blame lockdown

@Csari how frustrating! I haven't used opks since my blip the other month, i didn't get a solid smiley, I was so pissed off 😂

I have not idea if I have ovulated or not or if I even will. Ive not had a positive opk and had two days of ewcm, assumed I'd ovulate today and today I have creamy/lotiony cm with I normally only get after ovulation. Wondering if perhaps my body tired to ovulate but didn't? So frustrating lol

Lol I wasn’t even meant to dtd near ov! As OH very much stated to me he didn’t wanna try.. ah well lmao😂😂it’s strange because I always only have ewcm around ov but yeah it’s been a whole mess down there. Looks like I’m in the TWW again 😂

Sounds like you covered your fertile time so don't panic! My cm van be a bit confusing to, always changes!

Soooo for me, my other digital is a big blank circle. Non fertile today, my cheapie is not as dark as it was yesterday for sure. So I think I actually ovulated yesterday, just wish I did a test the day before yesterday to see if it was peak also! I dtd Monday, so If I ovulated Monday or yesterday then I think I have a higher chance than last month! I’m just very confused with my cm, from dtd 3 days in a row I wasn’t able to track it properly but I’ve also not been able to figure out what’s going on with it atm. I’ve had my ewcm, but it’s also been creamy/lotiony at the same time?!

Just wondering if any of you have a Fibroadenoma (benign breast tumor)? It was painfull all day yesturday even my armpit hurt and the same today! It usually gives a bit of pain around ovulation and af but i don't recall it being this painful! Obviously trying not to read into it... probably gearing up for a painful af 😑😂

Aww lovely! @Csari I can imagine. I get mine done tomorrow I’m excited lol. Yes, we aren’t TTC this month though, I thought I was gonna ovulate tomorrow but I still could still ovulate tomorrow though! Will just keep doing the cheapie ones to see. But still knowing my luck I’ll be out so I’m deffo not gonna symptom spot. Ooo hopefully get your smiley soon, but dtd will have you covered anyway!

Im ok thanks @Leobaby I had my hair done today which made me feel alot more human. Amazing the difference a hair cut can make lol.
Ooh fingers crossed for you then, that timing is really promising.

I think I'm due to ovulate soon but no smiley face for me yet lol, DTD every other day just incase.

@SK2970 bless you it’s not nice I know. I had a previous pregnancy with HG but I didn’t carry on with it unfortunately. So I know when I do conceive I’m going to look forward to experiencing HG again. How many times are you throwing up? Just making sure it isn’t that severe? Don’t feel guilty it’s completely normal. Toast is the best tho I could eat that all day everyday. Just relax and enjoy your time as much as you can.

@RobinRose bless you.. like everyone says you gotta wait and see. You never know, your pre af symptoms could be the same as pregnancy as everyone is different but I don’t wanna get your hopes up lol. Just want you to stay positive haha!

I wish I did my opk yesterday to see if it was flashing or static, because I’ve done it today and it’s static, along with a cheapie the line looks the same colour. But I’ve got another digital so I’ll do that tomorrow to see if it’s still static or not. Because I know it stays static for 2 says so if it’s static again then I know I still haven’t ovulated lol! But I dtd yesterday so lmao still done it a couple days before ov or maybe 1 day?! I’m terrible. 😂

@Csari so sorry I completely missed your reply! Glad you are feeling okay 🌼! No I know what you mean about the wobbling, I would really like to be the next one to announce but I just can't help but feel we won't be getting there anytime soon.

@SK2970 Doing okay! Just waiting for af to arrive... i am hoping af arrives before the weekend so the pain doesn't ruin my weekend. I love bread, eapecialy proper thick chicken slices of fresh bakery bread (I like the seeded) with lashings of butter or melted mozzarella 🤤 could you be wanting bread because your feeling nauses? Don't feel bad, it is better to eat something rather than nothing, i am sure things will settle down in the next few weeks!

@Leobaby I'm very nauseous and extremely tired but all good apart from that! Really not enjoying this part, everyone keeps telling me that it gets better after the first few months but not sure I believe it!! I am expecting it to get worse before it gets better..if it does! I feel guilty for eating too much because I have been conscious of what I eat for so long, I never eat bread and it's all I want at the moment!

How are you all doing?

@RobinRose again?😩funny I’m starting to get use to your af symptoms lol. I hope it’s not af though, but don’t beat yourself up over it if it is. Try and stay as positive as you can. And lovely! I get my hair done Wednesday too so I’m excited about that as well 🤣 nails is next on the list!
