Anyone else DTD few days before ov?! 2WW

DTD with my partner on Saturday which makes it cycle day 13 for me. I ovulate around cycle day 15/16. So today or tomorrow. I can’t DTD today so I have to stick with my partners swimmers from Saturday. Wondering if I’m still in with a chance this month 😕I know it takes hours for egg to be released and sperm live for a few days but I’m still thinking I’m out. Anyone else in the same boat as me?

Hey @RobinRose thanks so much for the luck :) I have just got back and all went really well. Saw the heartbeat and little arm and legs buds which was amazing as I was so worried it would be bad news.

How are you getting on this month? Sounds like all the bases are covered so I've got everything crossed for you :) sending loads of luck!

Boobs started to hurt a little yesterday, which is so strange this has never happened so late before. Af still no show! I feel she will be here by the weekend maybe!

@RobinRose good! Fingers crossed for you!🤞🏼 Oh bless you, how are you feeling now? Yeah I’m due af tomorrow! Just think my hormones have been off this month lol. I’ve had light cramps on and off too!. Temp is still high but dropped a little. Still have a sore throat, couldn’t sleep last night as felt quite nauseous and woke up several times. I think I’m just unwell lol!

@Leobaby managed to dtd!🤞 woke up with a migraine so im confident I have or about to ovulate. Well there's always a chance you have ovd later, you will have to wait and see! Why can't our bodys be simple?! Hows your temp looking today?

@RobinRose yes definitely get that one in today! You could do tomorrow as well if you wanted! I’m not sure if it would help or not depends when your egg was released and how long your egg lives for lol! Not bad to dtd though. 🤪 nope not so far. Usually my sign is my sore breasts so I can’t go off of that this month. I haven’t tracked my ov this month but if I did ov on my normal day then there’s no chance of pregnancy because we didn’t dtd at all. But if I ov’d a couple days later then yes there could be a possibility lol. Didn’t think I’d need to track it this month cos I thought I’d be out. But now the no sign of sore breasts has threw me off completely! Af is due in 2 days so can only go by temp now! 😂what a mess lol.

@csari hope you mange to enjoy some of your time off amongst the nausea! I really hope everything goes ok friday, not long to wait!
Things are okay, trying not to stress that we have basically hit the 12 month mark (highly doubt this month will be our month)

@leobaby yes I thought dtd later today would be a good shout, not sure if it is worth dtd tomorrow too? I think we could manage today for sure. Not feeling hopefully for this month though.
Any signs of af showing?! Anything out of the norm is usually a good sign (so they say!)

I agree, the wather is horrible today 🌧!

I’m okay thanks girls. I normally every month get my sore breasts 7dpo but nothing this month. Doesn’t hurt one bit, I’m due af Thursday. My temp is extremely high my app is saying abnormal. But I’ve had a sore throat & stuffy nose the past few days. I’m okay today tho! No idea why my breasts don’t hurt one bit lol.
@Csari the weather is shocking what a horrible summer it’s been. Ah I really hope everything goes well for you Friday! ❤️

Hi @RobinRose I'm ok thanks just really nervous for Friday and have been feeling tired and quite nauseous so really glad I've got a week off work now. Just hope everything is progressing ok.

And @Leobaby how are you? Im definitely glad of the time off but the weather is awful here so feeling a bit stuck in.

@Leobaby I am doing ok, tried dtd everyother day but missed a day 🤦🏼‍♀️ got a peak opk last night (woohoo) so may try dtd today but we did dtd yesturday morning! (Assume that's good timing but didnt bother with the conceive plus but now I'm thinking maybe we should have 🤦🏼‍♀️) I think this month is a right off to be honest.

How are you getting on?

I'm ok, very nauseous still with the odd sick day!! I have 12 week scan next week and my anxiety is going crazy!! 😔 think the stress over the BFP is just the start of all of the worries!!

@RobinRose I had a big costco cake! Vanilla with so much icing. I have so much cake to eat it’s insane I’m gonna get so fat. 😭 but it was so lovely! And exactly, try them!

@Csari bless you. I’m glad your scan went okay. My sister has experienced bleeding before during her pregnancy and was worried as it’s not something she usually experienced with her others but everything turned out perfectly fine and still had a healthy pregnancy so I hope the same for you!! Keep us updated. ❤️

I also have conceive plus lube. Not done anything yet but I’m not dtd actually on ov day so. Ive heard good things about preseed so I might get that one!

And yes thank you girls! Hahah the only thing I’m excited for is cake!🤣

@Csari oh really? That is interesting! I bought the lube instead of the individual applications so hopefully that will work the same!

Oh no how frustrating! At least it isnt getting worse, (obviously be better if it wasn't there at all) hopefully the next couple of weeks will fly by for you.

@RobinRose I used Preseed for the last two cycles, might be a complete coincidence but it seems to have helped and the cycle where I concieved my son was the first one that I used Preseed last time. I've heard really good things about concieve plus too.

Unfortunately it hasn't and is still the same this morning, really frustrating as I can't relax at all. I'm constantly worrying about it turning red or getting heavier.
