Hey

This is my 9th month TTC my first baby and I'm 33. I got static smiley on Friday on OPK, and now I'm in my TWW - again! I'm currently on furlough so the wait seems even longer and more painful and I definitely end up going a bit crazy 🤪

Anyone else in similar boat and need keeping sane?! Also any TTC tips you've heard of? I will literally try anything at the moment haha.

@stabal oh no I am sorry to bear that. It sounds like you had a chemical. I had one in February and had a similar line kn a FRER to you. They are common. Hope you're okay

I guess I'm out. AF here this morning with all the familiar pains. Who knows what the BFP was all about 😣

CAG14 · 24/06/2020 22:24

@stabal hmmm that is weird but IC are not always reliable. Hopefully a FRER will be nice and clear on Friday for you

@CAG14 yeah testing Friday still. I did another cheapie today and it was stark white, no faint line at all. Surely I should be seeing something there now if the frer was faint?

CAG14 · 24/06/2020 21:57

@stabal okay that is promising. Are you testing friday?

@LMA27 so with the ovulation sticks I usually start testing about CD10 and my cycles are usually 28 days long. The first day you test you will ALWAYS get a blank smiley face as it sets the baseline and goes from there. Then you should eventually get a flashing smiley face - when I get flashing I usually test twice a day to make sure I catch the static face. Some people only have 1 flashing smiley face, some have 6 7 days of it! Some even go straight to solid smiley. Just make sure you have sex every day or every other day during flashing and as much as you can when you get a solid. When you get a solid smiley in means you are likely to ovulate in the next 12-36 hours.

I hope that helps as a starting point. Oh and definitely wee in a cup and dip in rather than wee on them as they are a faff!

In terms of supplements I take folic acid, cog10 300mg a day and DHA vital. All recommended to me by my friend who went to see a fertility specialist when she was TTC.

Any other qs feel free to ask :)

@gk35 aw congratulations. That’s really lovely news 🥰

@CAG14 it’s so expensive isn’t it. What supplements do you use?

My ovulation sticks arrived today. I don’t even know where to start. Yesterday was last day of AF, when do I even take these tests? I haven’t even opened the box it feels all a bit surreal... I know that sounds weird.

Stabal · 24/06/2020 16:49

@gk35 congratulations! 🥰
@CAG14 I had a slight brown tinge when I wiped this morning but nothing since. It certainly is an expensive process! Onwards and upwards into a new cycle 🤞

LT103 · 24/06/2020 15:46

@gk35 wow congratulations!!!! 😄

CAG14 · 24/06/2020 15:43

@gk35 congratulations! Xxx

I held off testing until the day before AF was due (yesterday) and was surprised to see a BFP. I had no symptoms other than a few cramps which could have been period cramps and I wasn't bloated like I normally would be!

CAG14 · 24/06/2020 15:07

@Stabal how are you doing? Any more spotting?
AF here properly now so that's me definitely out. Just spent a fortune on a new supply of clearblue ovulation sticks, and supplements. This TTC is an expensive business!

@stabal no dont worry at all. Easily missed. Thank you. Hope everything's okay for you tomorrow

@Jadeb1995 thank you, will keep yous updated!

Stabal · 23/06/2020 23:24

@CAG14 oh no I'm sorry! It was on the previous page and I missed it. Fingers crossed it passes quickly so you can move on. Nice big bar of chocolate for you 💜

Jadeb1995 · 23/06/2020 22:24

Sorry to hear that @CAG14, hopefully next month will be the month!

@stabal I've got everything crossed for you!

CAG14 · 23/06/2020 22:01

@stabal Yes that sounds like a good plan, keep us updated tomorrow. Not sure if you saw my earlier post but AF is here sadly. Albeit 4 days early and with no symptoms but pink when I wiped earlier. Least it is here and the waiting is over and can move on to next month quicker!

Stabal · 23/06/2020 21:52

@CAG14 I think I'll wait unless it gets any heavier tomorrow. Trying not to panic too much.. Maybe I overdid some decorating today. Who knows! How are you feeling today? Are you going to test tomorrow or wait and see if AF comes?

CAG14 · 23/06/2020 21:41

@stabal on no! Try not to panic as that is normal with early pregnancy and you def had positive lines on your tests. I hope it doesnt get heavier and it is gone tomorrow. Are you going to get another FRER tomorrow or wait? Sending hugs

LMA27 · 23/06/2020 21:21

@CAG14 hoping it’s the news you want lovely. it sounds like it could be! 🤞🏼

Stabal · 23/06/2020 19:59

Some light bleeding when I wipe tonight. Not sure what's happening. 😔

CAG14 · 23/06/2020 19:54

@LT103 I hope so but I'm going to just assume it is AF just rearing her head early as I'm doubtful it is IB as not many women get it.

@Stabal have you managed to stay away from tests today? It must be so hard!

OP posts:
LT103 · 23/06/2020 19:49

@cag14 fingers crossed it’s implantation especially that early!!! I had loads of spotting last period But at time period was due and ended up testing couple of times. Maybe a good sign if it’s spotting at your stage 🤞🤞

CAG14 · 23/06/2020 19:22

Just been to toilet and have pink spotting. Which is bizarre as I'm not due on till Saturday and have had no PMS or cramping just my dizzy spells and sore boobs. My luteal phase is normally always 14-15 days long but this is only 10 or 11 days. It could be IB but I dont want to get my hopes up as looks like start of AF. On to the next month :(

LMA27 · 23/06/2020 14:03

@CAG14 I think this is the only time we’ll ever wish to feel faint and nauseous haha
Make sure you’re having enough sugar in case, we don’t want you actually fainting!! ☺️

Hope everyone else is feeling ok today.

Stabal · 22/06/2020 20:54

@CAG14 could well be! I definitely had some weird head stutters in my first weeks. I think I had every bloody early pregnancy symptom possible
