Hey

This is my 9th month TTC my first baby and I'm 33. I got static smiley on Friday on OPK, and now I'm in my TWW - again! I'm currently on furlough so the wait seems even longer and more painful and I definitely end up going a bit crazy 🤪

Anyone else in similar boat and need keeping sane?! Also any TTC tips you've heard of? I will literally try anything at the moment haha.

@Stabal @butterfly5291 thank you 🤞🏻 the early pregnancy unit get back to me soon

msunflower · 15/07/2020 13:14

@LT103 thank you, I'm waiting to hear back from the early pregnancy assessment unit now 🤞🏻

LT103 · 15/07/2020 13:12

@msunflower hope you get some answers soon and that everything is ok

@Stabal that is a bit odd to be having as much bleeding at this time. Did you manage to get to speak to your doctor? Hope you get to the bottom of it!!

Stabal · 15/07/2020 12:51

I have a bit of anofher light flow today but temperature rose from the dip yesterday and a peak on opk. Absolutely no idea what's happening with the bleeding.. Surely ovulation bleeding shouldn't last this long or be a light flow? I feel like everything is too messy to even consider a pregnancy sticking this cycle 😔

Stabal · 15/07/2020 11:18

@1992EM welcome to the crazies

@msunflower oh gosh, I'm sure that was a bit of scare for you but hopefully they're just covering all basis and everything is fine and your cycle is just a little out of whack! Definitely keep us posted though

butterfly5291 · 15/07/2020 10:47

@msunflower try not to worry, drs are just covering themselves rather than waiting for receptionists to call. Hopefully you hear back soon. Keep your phone on loud and keep us posted. Sending good thoughts xx

msunflower · 15/07/2020 10:34

@LMA27 @cag14 I just spoke with the GP over the phone and she thinks it could possibly be an early ectopic pregnancy and she's called the early pregnancy unit at the hospital asking them to call me. She said it may also be that I am pregnant but my HcG levels are still too low. Either way, I will likely have to go in for a blood test to test HcG levels soon and have a call with the hospital - will keep you posted! Was feeling at ease but not so much now, my GP actually called me back again saying she called the hospital herself on my behalf so I'm a hit nervous!

1992EM · 15/07/2020 09:32

I hope everyone is keeping well . I got my positive opk on Monday and another yesterday . Had ovulation twinges yesterday so think my peak was most likely monday as the opk was much darker then . Both days I got a smiley face on CB . I haven't tested today but I assume it will have dropped. We dtd the past 4 days so hopefully that has been enough. Now just to get through the tww .

LMA27 · 15/07/2020 09:13

@msunflower I’ve just read your messages and it looks like @CAG14 has put you at ease.
I love this group that someone always knows the right thing to say. I hope you’re feeling a little better today and manage to get a drs appointment.

My hormones are on another level this week, I’m being a total and utter b*tch. AF is really pushing her limit this week or it’s other hormones but either way I wouldn’t like to be my OH right now 🤦🏼‍♀️ Friday needs to hurry up so I can just get on with it if AF arrives. I think I might buy some nice relaxing oils and scents because if its a full moon tonight I’d be convinced I’d turn into a werewolf 😂

msunflower · 14/07/2020 23:01

@CAG14 thank you so much for letting me know, I had no idea this was a thing, I feel less like I'm going mad ndmg body is broken haha 🤣 I'll make that GP app which will likely be around day 40 or later in my cycle and can always cancel if AF arrives.

CAG14 · 14/07/2020 22:31

@msunflower yeah so this happened the first month I ttc and I did get AF just on CD40 instead of 28 like usual. Think it was just the constant thinking about it all and waiting for AF to arrive that sent my body into a delay as normally you wouldn't even think about your cycle. I googled it and it is really common apparently. Doesn't mean you are definitely not pregnant though as you could well be and it just taking a while to show up.

msunflower · 14/07/2020 22:20

@CAG14 this is our first month ttc, but it's reassuring to hear you had something similar! Did your period ever arrive that month? I'm taking Pregnacare but I've been on it for a few years on and off (kept putting off ttc!) but have been on it solidly for about six months now and it's not affected my period/cycles at all. I'm going to do another FRER in the morning then call the GP if still no AF!

CAG14 · 14/07/2020 21:56

@msunflower how long have you been TTC? I remember a similar thing happened to me when I first started trying. I had a 40 day cycle which had never ever happened before as always been regular. I thought something was wrong but it is quite common when you are constantly thinking about ttc. Your body plays tricks on you! Have you taken any new supplements as el for the first time as this also can delay periods?

OP posts:
msunflower · 14/07/2020 19:42

I'm now on day 36 of my cycle, no period has arrived but I'm getting BFNs! No idea what's going on. I've never had spotting before but I had two episodes of spotting during this cycle, once 7DPO which resembled implantation bleeding, and a very small amount of spotting around the day of my due period. I'm usually quite regular between 28-30 days cycle. Any ideas what I should do? Should I be worried/concerned? Surely if I was pregnant there would be a BFP and I've never missed a period before 🤷🏼‍♀️

Stabal · 14/07/2020 19:10

@LMA27 😂😂 mine would definitely say the same. I'm so moody. Like I can't even be bothered to answer him moody.. Don't speak to me, thanks 😂 in all seriousness though I've always thought I have PMDD as it gets really bad but my doctors have always dismissed it when mentioned

LMA27 · 14/07/2020 19:03

@Stabal always, don’t worry you’re not alone.
If it makes you feel any better OH just made a comment which alluded to the fact im always a b*tch the week leading up to my period 🤣

Stabal · 14/07/2020 18:27

Anyone else get extremely emotional around ovulation? Literally could cry at the drop of a hat.

Stabal · 14/07/2020 15:07

@CAG14 ah yes okay, I'm with you now 😂 it really is a never ending roller-coaster but a really bloody slow one!

CAG14 · 14/07/2020 14:47

@lma27 lol seen you said in your previous post it is Friday! Yes no point in testing until Friday then and AF is one day late.

OP posts:
CAG14 · 14/07/2020 14:46

@stabal no AF not due until next Wednesday haha! Just meant the earliest you can really even feel symptoms is 7DPO isn't it? So probably from Friday onwards I will be symptom spotting! Need to keep busy those days I think.

@LMA27 yeah it really is horrible when you can't sleep and you are tired and then getting more and more annoyed at not being able to fall asleep. Then low and behold I fell asleep just as OH got up for a shower (we have an en suite so just kept me awake then). I know you have mentioned a gazillion times so sorry, but when is AF due and what DPO are you? It is really good not to test early but bloody hard

OP posts:
LMA27 · 14/07/2020 14:08

@CAG14 Aww sorry to hear that, anxiety is a b*tch, I’m useless when I don’t sleep either, hopefully your lavender sprays help you sleep tonight 💜

@Stabal ok I have to admit I looked on amazon but they won’t get here till Friday and AF due that day so no point is there 😂

Stabal · 14/07/2020 14:00

@CAG14 we DTD this morning and thankfully off tomorrow so will DTD in the morning and evening hopefully that will cover us haha. Is AF due Friday? Gah, I'm so anxious for all of you! I hope you get a better sleep tonight though

@LMA27 I would have come home and ordered some online 😂 you definitely have some willpower!

LMA27 · 14/07/2020 13:57

@Stabal it sounds like it could be ovulation bleeding 🤞🏼 time to DTD today & tomorrow hehe!
I’m ok, no more symptoms so it’s made me doubtful. I thought I had some pregnancy tests left but I don’t, so I walked to the shop on lunch picked up some food etc and came home and forgot to buy the tests that I went for 🤦🏼‍♀️ haha useless. saved me money + the desire to test earlier than I should

I’m with you both on the snoozing though, how anyone gets up on the first alarm is beyond me. 2 maybe 3 snoozes wakes me up enough although sounds like @LT103 takes it to another level snoozing 😂

CAG14 · 14/07/2020 13:47

Morning everyone! Hope you are all well (apart from snoring and snoozing partners haha).

@Stabal that is so annoying about getting an appointment, I hope you get one soon. Fingers crossed for ovulation tomorrow and enjoy DTD haha!

@Faith82 sorry to hear about AF but sounds like you have a good plan for this month.

I'm still just in the annoying waiting game in the 2WW. It has helped to tell myself that no symptoms whatsoever will happen until at least Friday. So cue me being mental on here on Friday 🤪

I didn't sleep that well last night though. General anxiety at the moment that I can't seem to shove. Think it is just all the uncertainty of everything at the moment. Going to try some lavender aromatherapy sprays on my pillow tonight that I ordered.

LT103 · 14/07/2020 13:40

Hahahaha. I get where he’s coming from @Stabal. I usually have great intentions of gettin up early then just don’t want to when that first alarm goes off. I sometimes have alarms set on my phone and my clock and snooze both 🤦🏻‍♀️
