Thou will not get stressed.

Thou will symptom spot casually and not obsessively.

Thou will not test before 12dpo.

@Sansa87 happy birthday for tomorrow girl, enjoy those drinks! And a bit of relaxing can't hurt, isn't that what we keep reading? 😉

Rotagilla · 15/06/2020 21:08

@kirinm it was horrible....I made another with a quarter teaspoon of tumeric and still tasted awful, shame as it's got good health benefits.
Maybe il just stick a massive scoop of ice cream in instead 😂
I definitely won't try broccoli 😂😂

@holb54 welcome! It's exciting....stressful sometimes but exciting. We've made a pact to be chill this month....we will see how that goes!

@LittleTooMuch I sat with my son and learnt what he was learning today and actually enjoyed taking my mind of ttc too....that will be key during the tww, keep busy!

@blodyn91 which apps are you using? I had a few but ended up deleting the ones I didn't like. I'm left with Glo but now wondering if I should have a few like you...

@helia welcome aboard! Lovely group here and very supportive.

@Sansa87 im so impressed you aren't a testing fiend like most of us seem to be!
We will hopefully keep each other relaxed this cycle....I have promised myself I won't test too early this month.

Hey girls! AF cramps are really ramping up now. I’m due 16/17 so feel safe to say I’m out. It is my birthday tomorrow, so at least now I can drink all the gin everyone has bought me 😂

I’m so proud I havent tested at all though! If you girls can just make sure I don’t symptom spot in July, that will be great 😂

LittleTooMuch · 15/06/2020 18:28

@blodyn91 - it does start tonight, gutted i have already seen it a few years ago

helia · 15/06/2020 17:19

Can I join? I'm CD26 but we have been preventing pregnancy this month. We've decided to try for DC#2 next month and I think it would be nice to have some support.

blodyn91 · 15/06/2020 17:12

Ive peed on my first ever OPK this afternoon, was low as expected, but wanted to rule out early ovulation. I have 3 apps on the go predicting ovulation on the 22/24/26 of this month. So will see which one is correct!
Ive also reduced the amount im exercising 😐 Im so used to doing something everynight, now need to fill that time in- I think Love Island Australia starts tonight? 🤔

LittleTooMuch · 15/06/2020 16:26

hey all, been in work today and although i have counted down the hours to it being acceptable to put my pjs on and eat ice cream, it actually took my mind off ttc for a few hours!!

how is everyone today?

holb54 · 15/06/2020 13:20

Hi girls, so excited for this thread! First time this month TTC and already feeling the usual will it work, does everything inside me work, etc. Excited to have this group, 8 days to ovulation 🤞

kirinm · 15/06/2020 10:40

@Rotagilla enjoy the lull because even with the best intentions it is hard not to start obsessing by 7/8dpo.

Spinach in a smoothie is great so long as you have other ingredients that taste better than spinach! Never use broccoli. I used broccoli once and it is grim - nothing masks that taste.

I have never used turmeric and don't think I ever will - thanks for the heads up!

Still waiting for AF - usually around lunchtime but once it arrives, I will pay the online PT some money.

Rotagilla · 15/06/2020 10:12

Morning all,

@kirinm I am just going to try and stick to the pact...😂
I'm also going to try and improve health wise. I've decided to be in the best place possible for when I conceive.
Started the day with a healthy smoothie....complete with spinach and tumeric....absolutely disgusting!!

@AlisonLew15 I just have internet cheapie ovulation sticks....I usually start a day or two before my apps thinks il ovulate. Although my cycle was different this month so maybe il start as soon as AF ends...

I feel a bit redundant at the moment!
Like all I've known for the last two weeks is wondering about being pregnant and symptom spotting. Now the lull is odd to me!

blodyn91 · 15/06/2020 09:38

@AlisonLew15 Im using fermometer opks, and starting today at CD8 😁

AlisonLew15 · 15/06/2020 09:22

@kirinm great thank you.
Ok I might start testing from tomorrow then as I've missed this mornings wee (I can't hold for 4 hours) my cycle last few months have been 30/30/25/26 days (apparently even though a variation this is still classed as regular?)

kirinm · 15/06/2020 09:03

I have a 26 day cycle @AlisonLew15 so I would probably start as soon as AF finishes. I don't have the clear blue monitor but am going to buy some clear blue OPKs this month.

AlisonLew15 · 15/06/2020 08:29

Hi everyone. I posted this in the other group too but I think it's getting pretty full now so I'm just going to move over into this one now.

A little question for everyone. Those using OPKs, how long after your period starts/stops do you start testing? Got the CB digital so don't want to be wasting a lot. Was thinking about 7-10 days after my period started?
I did them last month for the first time and got low, flashing, flashing, static.

kirinm · 15/06/2020 08:00

Morning! So, AF is likely to arrive around lunchtime and so for this month I'm going to try to avoid overthinking every single thing. I have been thinking about signing up to with an online PT for a little while and as I didn't get my BFP, I'm going to sign up today. I'd like to lose weight and start exercising regularly again. Since lockdown I've become chained to my desk and never find time for a run or workout so I need to try and change that.

Anyone else got any plans for the upcoming month?

LittleTooMuch · 14/06/2020 10:07

welcome @blodyn91 and @AlisonLew15

@Rotagilla mine is abnormally light so far this month, i'm waiting for the big bang, last time it was like this it went on for ages! much prefer it to be over and done with!

Rotagilla · 14/06/2020 09:52

Morning ladies,

Welcome @AlisonLew15 and @blodyn91

AF is worse than ever this month which I feel is particularly unfair 🙁

But I did have a drink last night which was nice 🙂

AlisonLew15 · 14/06/2020 09:48

Hi everyone, jumping on the new thread- thanks for starting it up @rotagilla

So AF appears to have gone now after 3 very easy days. Going to be using my CB OPKs in a few days and see how it goes! And I bought that Preseed stuff, what the hell do I do with it?

kirinm · 14/06/2020 09:37

Argh, I'm so cross with myself for reading too much into that stupid shadow on the test. AF due tomorrow and I've got the usual body aches. I had convinced myself it was a positive. Feel gutted.

blodyn91 · 13/06/2020 21:03

Ok if I join 😌 Im now CD 6. 3rd and final cycle of TTC this year- but going to try and be more relaxed. (wedding postponed to June 2021 hence needing to stop after this cycle). Going to use OPKs for the first time, and Im actually quite excited 🙈 had a lovely glass of gin tonight. Decided to add alcohol back in to try and help with the TTC journey as it just makes DTD more fun 🤪
I will try and hold off testing till July 7th 😬 got one FRER in the drawer, might get OH to hide it!

LittleTooMuch · 13/06/2020 20:35

@Rotagilla thanks it's just hit me so hard today, I don't know why this month was so bad but I just felt useless. Seeing my husbands face when I had to tell him AF had arrived was so hard.

@FoxtrotOscarPoppet - I know exactly how you feel, I have felt like a failure today but you have made me realise there are actually positives so lets enjoy the whole not worrying about being pregnant and enjoy the things we would have missed

I feel carrying a cupboard today too so Im all cut and bruised and achy, don't think that helped my mood tbh

FoxtrotOscarPoppet · 13/06/2020 14:06

That would be great to be able to do most of the first trimester at home.

I felt quite low since AF arrived - bit of a failure but I’ve given myself a kick up the bum and I’m trying to think positively.

As I’m not pregnant this month I enjoyed a couple of glasses of Prosecco last night.
I’ve just enjoyed a hot bath with all my NEOM products which are packed with essential oils which I know you have to be careful with in pregnancy.
Tonight I think I may have a large glass of wine with a big slab of Brie and look forward to TTC this month. 😊

Rotagilla · 13/06/2020 14:04

@LittleTooMuch please don't feel like that ❤️ It's not a failure...
It's a chance for next month.

Af has just arrived, seems like talking about it has brought it on. Even the tiny hope has now gone.
But il
Start getting ready for next month.

Hope you are ok x

Hopefully this will be our month and we can do most of it at home 😂

kirinm · 13/06/2020 13:17

I was hoping that too @Rog do the first trimester at home so you can deal with the nausea and sickness. I think we will be going back in some form in September which means we have missed that chance.
