Hey girls, as @juno231 pointed out, we were almost at 1,000 messages on our last testing thread, so thought we should set up a new one for anyone that hasn't got their BFP this month. Of course a few of you may still get your positives :)

I'm just going to tag anyone that has posted on the thread in the last 24 hours or so, but please feel free to tag others that I've missed out...

@foreverhopeful67 @BbyBx2 @Muriel84 @Smushty14 @Smiling124 @33Carr @memily @LottieX

Of course this thread is based on a cycle of around 30days, so take the title with a pinch of salt as I'm sure some of us will be testing earlier and some of us later. I seem to be on track for a 33+ day cycle at the mo! xx

AF is heavy as hell today and the cramps are really bad! Still feel a bit ropey today at work but sure it's just AF draining me!

MintGreenLife · 24/06/2020 12:38

@LottieX 😂😂 this sounds horrible, but I honestly didn't even realise it could actually stay in there after DTD as I used to hate the feeling of it starting to come out so would always rush to the loo within minutes 🙈

I've read mixed stuff on this. On the one hand have read that any that's going to get into your cervix will do within seconds, whereas I've also read you should try staying laid down for 10-15 mins after. Appparently tilting your hips etc is pointless. So I guess maybe just stay laid down for 15 mins to be on the safe side, and don't worry about it if a bit still comes back out 🤷🏻‍♀️ Such a funny thing to talk about 😂

Interesting question- Leakage after DTD- what's normal?

I'm currently in peak fertility and am trying to keep as much as I can 'in there'!! 🤣

Anybody have any tips or tricks they do?

@fashu really good news that you've got the fresh start for the month ahead! Fingers crossed all the things you've been through this month will have been a reset and next cycle is your one 🤞🏻

MintGreenLife · 24/06/2020 10:19

@fashu well done for being so positive :) that's how I felt when AF arrived - like it was a new opportunity :) never did AF mean so much before ha. And well done for being proactive! I'm trying to do yoga every morning for an hour first thing, but only managed half an hour this morn as it's already so hot! Hope you can rest up today and be kind to yourself xx

@ReginaaPhalange glad to hear you're feeling better :) hope you have a good day at work x

I hope things are working out better for you now @ReginaaPhalange
Thank you @MintGreenLife

AF has arrived :D very heavy and very painful but I don't really care because now I can start trying again aha!
Literally drank so much ginger tea yesterday, done some yoga and long walk then drank some tumeric in milk.......whichever one it was clearly worked!

ReginaaPhalange · 23/06/2020 19:31

@MintGreenLife thank you :) feeling better today so will be back at work tomorrow!

AF is sooo light it's virtually non existent! Hopefully the floodgates open soon lol

MintGreenLife · 23/06/2020 09:04

Sorry to hear you've had such an ordeal! That's awful re the first response test and you must feel really upset and disappointed. Hope you can rest today and be kind to yourself? I check my cervix position most days, and I had a small hard lump for a couple of weeks in my last cycle that has gone away now. I've read small cysts on the cervix are quite common, and most women have them without realising as obviously not an everyday thing to check your cervix x

oooo @MintGreenLife I might have to try that tea, sounds good!!!

I was at the hospital most of the day yesterday and it was probably more traumatic than when I had my DS!!! Also realised facemasks are extremely difficult to breathe through in little nurses rooms.
I've had internal ultrasounds, internal exams by the nurse (was about 5 mins but felt like 5 hours!) blood tests etc. everything came back normal and negative. I've sent a very strongly worded email to First Response for giving me false hope, the nurse couldn't believe it when I showed her the pictures.
All my scans were normal although my endometrial lining is slightly on the thicker side at 16mm but this could signal that AF is coming! I do however have a small cyst on my cervix. The nurse said its nothing to worry about though.
So now just waiting for AF. Going to be doing some serious googling today to try and make her arrive!

MintGreenLife · 22/06/2020 21:56

@ReginaaPhalange AF has been light for me since coming off the pill, first was really light, second a bit heavier which I took to be a step in the right direction 🙈 Hope you're feeling better x

Thanks lovelies! It's been very light flowing so far but here's hoping by tomorrow it's picked up.

Took a half day leave at work today as felt very nauseous and light headed, so going for a nap.

MintGreenLife · 22/06/2020 10:57

@ReginaaPhalange I did that the first AF I got after coming off the pill! Was so thrilled to see my body seemed to be back on track, although second cycle off totally proved it's not back on track! Here's to this next cycle, and actually we will be testing around the same time all being well :)

@fashu I'm feeling quite positive for this cycle, am doing absolutely everything I can diet and exercise wise and taking all of the supplements that are recommended for a 'post-pill reset'. I also have dandelion root tea arriving today which is meant to be good for helping the liver detox excess oestrogen/hormones to regain hormonal balance, so excited to try that :)

Let us know how you get on with your blood tests, will be keeping my fingers crossed for you xx

fashu · 22/06/2020 09:20

aha @ReginaaPhalange never thought I would be telling anyone that I'm happy they got AF!
Sorry to hear about your short Luteal phase @MintGreenLife! hope it works itself out this month!

I'm still waiting for AF! Getting extremely frustrated now, I'm on CD48!!! I've got terrible cramps at one point I couldn't move. They come and go, but I am honestly convinced every 30 minutes she's arrived, rush to the toilet and no......
I went for a scan on Friday and they couldn't see anything but now I am being called in for blood tests every few days.....really not looking forward to it.
First response actually seems slightly darker today, but not holding out hope for that, seems a bit late now. Also getting faint positives on clearblue early now, but read online they aren't very reliable......

ReginaaPhalange · 21/06/2020 23:33

UPDATE!!

AF finally showed lol! I actually "woo-hoo" out loud in the bathroom when I saw it 😂😂😂 right! So once she's buggered off, it's time to start TTC for our first month!

I've never been happy to see AF before 🤣🤣🤣

Sussexbysea · 21/06/2020 20:34

Hey everyone! Good to see you are all here. I’m not trying for a little while and back on the pill (booooo!!!) I wish you all the best xxx

ReginaaPhalange · 21/06/2020 18:13

@mm26 I hope so. I'm normally between 28-31 days so 40 days is unheard of for me :(

mm26 · 21/06/2020 18:02

@ReginaaPhalange ahh ok. Maybe just a longer cycle, then? Fingers crossed it ends soon and you can get on with things this month! I bought one of the clear blue ovulation kits for this month as I saw they were on sale. Hoping it gives me a clearer picture of when I'm ovulating as I think i was way off last month!

ReginaaPhalange · 21/06/2020 17:57

@mm26 just in case*

ReginaaPhalange · 21/06/2020 17:56

@mm26 we haven't had unprotected sex yet as we were going to start trying this month. I did a test during the week just incandescent but that was negative. Condom hasn't burst as far as we can tell as hubby does check after we've DTD

mm26 · 21/06/2020 17:48

@ReginaaPhalange my period showed up on Friday! But it's been really light and non-existent today really. So weird!
Have you done a test recently??

ReginaaPhalange · 21/06/2020 12:29

I'll not be testing on 11th July :( I'm on CD40 with no clue what's going on :( so looking like I'll be an August tester 🤷🏼‍♀️

ReginaaPhalange · 18/06/2020 21:15

@mm26 I'm exactly the same as you with thinking it's started and the cramping! It's so frustrating!!!

mm26 · 18/06/2020 21:08

@ReginaaPhalange I should be half way through my period currently! It's weird. I'm cramps but don't feel like I'm going to get my period? I've had a few moments today where I was sure I had felt it start and rushed to the loo, but there was nothing!

Aw I'm sure it will happen for you! No one prepares you for how long this all feels just TTC! I've only been at it for 1 cycle properly and let me tell you this has been the longest 35 days ever.

ReginaaPhalange · 18/06/2020 21:01

@mm26 AF should have buggered off by now and we'd be well on our way TTC for our first cycle!

I've just seen Kate Ferdinand's pregnancy announcement and got myself all sad worrying that that will never happen for me :(
